Monte Carlo Restaurant and Nightclub

WOW… what an experience… Great music (hip hop/​rap/​latin) however being on the dance floor on a Saturday night is a fire hazzard… literally wall to wall people and I’m not exaggerating… God forbid something happen in that place… you’d get trampled… it was one of those places you read about in the news

Management here sucks! Worst service I have ever received. There is always fights going on too.

Went here with my close friend. I had an awesome time but I don’t think it really had anything to do with the club itself.
The music was way too loud. The drinks were ridiculously expensive. The bathrooms weren’t so bad, there was a lady cleaning in there. BTW LADIES, it’s good manners to tip the lady cleaning and helping in the ladies room. I was the only one who did?
There are always the obnoxious jerks who dance all over you and are too aggressive, but we danced with about 15 different men and they were almost all very nice and didn’t smell bad.
I would go again because the men here were all dancing for fun and having a great time and were for the most part, polite. But that’s just my experience. Have fun!

No place to sit. Unnecessary loud music. May Only be good for Latin folks.
All the tables are always reserved.

we purchased a burritto from the snack bar at the entrance. there were a few chairs outside this place. one of the girls in our group wanted to sit for a couple of minutes to adjust her footwear… as soon as i touched the chair, a couple of guys near the chair suddenly pushed me .(owners or someone related to the owners i think). outta nowhere a couple of bouncers show up and shove us around and push us further back. there was some racial abuse hurled towards us as well. i do not understand the need to get physical when a polite ‘the chair is taken’ would have sufficed…
please do not go here… bad crowd. useless music.terrible ownership and management. i am currently looking at options to file a formal complaint. it’s not a surprise that this place ranks lowest among the other places in downtown mountain view.

Love this place! Staff is very friendly. Music was great, a lil bit of everything. The atmosphere is on a super high till the end.

This place is a joke. It is ruining a beautiful area in downtown Mt. View. It seems there is a fight every time the place is open for business. You literally see brawls out on the street while families stand by to watch people’s faces bashed in and girls thrown to the ground. I go to many latin night clubs/​lounges and they are able to control the crowds and keep it safe. This place doesn’t. This place is ran by a bunch of douche bags, especially the girl manager named Marina. she is horrible, horrible customer service and to top that off she stinks like sweat. The city needs to seriously move this business out of the area because they stick out like a ugly duckling in a pond full of beautiful swans.

When this place 1^st opened it was the place to be. I was here this weekend and I was so disappointed (it was a Sat). It was over packed, you couldn’t even dance. worse part was walking through the crown and every single guy garbing my booty. While I was on the dance floor with friends; I kid you not, I was sweating more then when Im working out. I sweat so much that my nipple coves fell off (gross) I’m surprised I didn’t get a heat stroke. The 2^nd floor was a little bit better other then the bartender trying to give me my patron shot in a broken shot glass. She was sweet and replaced it the a none broken one after I complained. Before 10:00pm its Free after that its 20.00. Will I go again? Maybe, but not anytime soon.

My friends and I had so much fun here last night. We got there pretty early and it was a little empty, but we filled up with a couple drinks and waited for it to get a little more crowded before we hit the dance floor. By the way, the Sexes on the Beach were awesome and addicting. Prices weren’t too crazy either.
The three of us were just dancing and having a good time. I was probably one of the only white women there considering it’s got more of a Latin/​Spanish feel to it, so I would have preferred more American hip/​hop and rap sprinkled here and there, but that’s my only complaint. I heard several songs played more than once, too. Luckily I was too drunk to really linger on that and we just danced until the club was about to close!

I have fun every time I go. Good music full bar always packed it’s fun.

I use to like Monte Carlo it used to be super packed now is not as fun as it use to be. The only plus is that ladys go in for free before 10:00pm or something like that.

Not surprised at the negative reviews. Small clubs barely enough room to breathe. On top of that, I had to wait almost ½ hour just to get a drink. Most the women here look under 21 and got in with a fake ID. There are far better places to spend Friday and Saturday nights than Monte Carlo. Don’t let the flashy name fool you.

Probably the worst experience ive EVER had. The staff is rude. All the downstairs tables are «reserved» really? There is no place to stand … the only free table we found was upstairs. My friend and her husband were one step from the table when a security guy came over and tried to snatch her chair right from behind her !!! Like WTF??? OMG horrible! Not to mention their 4oz drinks are $ 9. NEVER EVER EVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!

One of the worst night club. There weren’t many people. The music totally sucks and sound is unnecessarily too high. The drinks especially long island and patron shots are expensive for this kind of place.

This place is an absolute joke. When you think of a $ 20 cover charge, you are thinking excellent music, service and scenery, right? Not the case here. Music is decent at best, bartender was rude and slow and guy to girl ratio was about 3 to 1. We ordered patron shots that were $ 12 each?! No salt and when we asked for limes the bartender threw the bowl at us! Definitely not recommending or coming back.

I went to this club this sat august 9^th 2014 and I got vip. I just saw my server 1 time the all night!!! I was so upset cuz we wanted to drink so I had to go to the bar to order my own drinks. We paid too much and montecarlo has very poor service on that. They need to change those kind of server we want server with nice service and friendly. My server looked like she was boring, or mad with his job so honestly I don’t recommend this place to have fun.

Sucked too small place way too packed speakers sounded like they where blowned or something like that…

As a prolific nightclub-​attendee around the world, I cannot recommend any group of friends (who want to actually talk to each other), or anyone who wants to meet a member of the opposite sex, come to Monte Carlo.
I came here on a Sunday and the crowd is 98% hispanic. I’ve got no problem with that. The problem is that the sound system/​acoustics/​speakers are so loud on both floors, you will basically have an incredibly difficult time chatting anyone up. I had to yell into my friend’s ear the entire night while talking, even when far away from the speakers, and several times we had to keep saying, «WHAAT???»
We left after an hour, even after paying the $ 10 cover, because our voices were going hoarse. My ears were ringing after stepping outside.
The few positives were that it was a pretty decent-​sized crowd for a Sunday night and the ratio was better than most — probably because of the $ 10 cover for guys and free for girls. When I dance with girls I just meet, I like to talk to them periodically to get to know them more, but that’s just not possible here.
If management turns down the music an entire notch, I think I would definitely come back though.
