Update 21 Sep 2008: R.A. Blues is starting up again on October 12th, the 2nd Sunday of each month.
Update 16 Jan 2008: R.A. Blues is no longer happening at Alberto’s and is looking for a new location. If they don’t find one, they’ll close down R.A. Blues, alas.
Overdue Update Dec 2007: RA Blues is happening at Alberto’s in Mountain View on Mondays.
[ The following was written for the former Sunday location in Campbell. The Monday night is still a great night with a good (but larger) dance floor. Class 8−9pm; dancing 9pm-​midnight. ]
A great little blues dance venue in the south bay. Sundays. Class 7−8pm. Dancing 8 – 10:30pm. $ 7 ($ 5 for students). Held at the Cardiff Lounge, a nice little bar. Sometimes folk head over to JJ’s Blues afterwards for more dancing with a live band.
People are friendly and just enjoy blues dancing. A fun venue.
