I needed to get a battery replaced in my watch. Called ahead see if they did it in house or sent it out. I was told they could do it while I waited. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Great service.

Whether you buy from them or not, they are courteous and knowledgeable.

I don’t know how this place is still in business. It’s old and stuffy on the inside and the women that work there don’t know what good salespeople act like. They run the store like a repair shop, which is all it’s probably good for. I brought my sister in to look for an engagement ring. The lady and the displays were awkward. We walked right out disappointed with the service and selection.

I own a Raymond Weil watch that I’ve always taken to Macy’s on State Street (Chicago) to get the battery replaced (it was convenient given I worked near there). When I took my watch in, every time it came back looking amazing. Not only would they do the battery and run the required pressure tests, but they would clean it as well. Since I don’t work downtown anymore, I went to Costello for my most recent battery replacement.
I know they have to send it out (everyone does to redo the waterproof seal). 10 days and $ 60 later, I have my watch back. While the battery has been replaced and the pressure tests were done, the watch definitely wasn’t cleaned. I’d expect that from a mall jewelry store, Jared, etc… but not from a nice place in downtown Naperville. Definitely disappointed.

Was looking for a Skagen watch battery repair & I knew from other reviews that most dept stores & Target no longer so them. This place was awesome! I went @ 9am on a Saturday before DT Naperville got crazy & parked right in front. Took less than 10 min & was $ 15. They also had great stuff if you’re ever in the market for «real» jewelry.
