Beckonings

Great store. Recently moved to Nashua and was thrilled to find this place. Visited it several times picking up unique Christmas gifts for the hard to shop for people. They have a diverse mix of things unlike any chain store.

As far as gift stores go, Beckonings is top notch.
Their gift selection touches on Judaica, jewelry, hand crafted glass, pottery, woodworking, photography, sculpture, clothing… I could go on but then it would be a long ramble. They carry made in NH items, if you have guests who want to bring a quality memento back from the Granite State. In fact, I’m pretty sure that every item in the store is the product of an independant artist.
My favorite items to buy are the hand made pottery from Louisiana. Gorgeous, sophistacted style with a lifetime guarantee. So very happy with the cookware and the flowervases Beckonings carries from them.
The sales staff are exceptional! You are greeted promptly, happily and genuinely regardless if you come in wearing jeans or Gucci. If you need help finding something, they listen to your needs and then try to present you with items that really match up with what you said.
Gift wrapping is classy and at no additional charge.
I have a VERY hard time not buying something extra whenever I stop in to pick up a wedding present, anniversary or birthday gift, or care package item. :) But then I see the sign on the wall that says «Your husband called… he said buy whatever you want.» And so, I do.

Simply love this boutique in the heart of downtown Nashua. It’s definitely a «touch this», «touch that» kind of store. Everything just catches your eye. It’s definitely on my list when I need to shop for a unique gift. The most recent gift was a beautiful coat for my mother. I’ve also bought jewelry, salad tossing fork and spoon, and wine/​cheese serving pieces.
The staff is always so pleasant and helpful and the gift wrapping is wonderful.
