Heads Up Hair Salon

After getting several not so great cuts from another barber in EN, I tried Heads Up. Megan greeted me and gave me a great haircut. Very attentitive and thorough. The $ 20 price tag was much more affordable than I expected, particularly for the quality of hair cut. I scheduled my follow up for 30 days and will def be back. Great job and thanks!

I am SUPER picky about my hair and SUPER cheap. After going to a salon in Nashville for a $ 40 haircut, I decided to try something different, and I’m so happy I did. Randyn listened attentively to what I wanted and gave me a great, quick, reasonably priced haircut. He didn’t shampoo my hair before or after (as most salons do), but I was more than willing to trade that service for the $ 20 I saved. I love my haircut, and I’ll definitely be going back.
If you’re vain (like me) but also price conscious (definitely like me), this place could solve all your problems.

I’ve been popping in here for years. No hassles, no drama queens, just talented and friendly folks. I never make an appointment and I never have to wait more than ten minutes to get a fantastic cut. Kudos to all!

I am new to the area and stumbled across what I consider a hidden gem. The environment was friendly and it was clear to see that each of the stylists truly enjoyed what they do. Pam was the individual that cut my hair and I found that she went above and beyond. The clientele is comprised of both men and women at various age points. The services fast and efficient; however, you never feel like you’re being pushed through. I highly recommend for both men and women.

I’m a fan, but I’m also a dude with short hair.
I go to either here or the one in Green Hills, and I’ve honestly never had a bad experience. They are quick, kind, cheap, and are able to give me a stylish haircut.
$ 18 for a quality haircut? I’ll take it.
But once again, I’m a dude.

Pretty good place to go get a haircut. They’re super fast, super pro, and super nice.
I called in, and thought I’d have to wait, but nope. Plus they charged me less than they said they would on the phone. Sweet!

As a woman, with long, one length hair on my head, to get a ‘trim’. I refuse to pay $ 60 at my salon to get ‘trim’
I took the risk of going to a non-​salon, fancy brand, to get this done. My boyfriend gets his hair cut here and has never had any horror stories so what the heck, i needed to save a few bucks. I thought they only cut guys hair, but he insisted I was wrong…
There were plenty of stylist around that evening, all anxious to see me come in the door. They sat me down to start cutting and asked if they were going to wash my hair (pretty standard practice at a salon). They said sure but it would be an extra $ 5.00. No problem.
So the cut took forever, as the stylist took his time… very slowly… but it was straight and the split ends were gone!
The cut and wash was like $ 20 plus tip. Sweet.
The floor had some hair from previous customers and the stylist stations were somewhat messy. That’s what you get for a $ 20.00 haircut.
I’ll probably go back if money is tight again…

This place is so unassuming on the outside, but nice on the onside.
I was staying at the hotel across the street and decided to get my hair done for the wedding I was in town for.
I walked in, and there were able to get me in. The guy doing my hair was really friendly, and did an extraordinary job.
I hit my head a couple of weeks ago and have a fresh scar near my hair line. I pointed it out to him, because I wanted to make sure he was cautious around the area. (I was already injured once, I don’t need to add a hair accident on top of it). He was so gently with the hair around my face, and yet still styled it well. He also shaped my hair so that it curved right over the scar, which was so brilliant I didn’t even realize he did it until I was putting on makeup. He covered the scar up perfectly, but it didn’t look at all like a cover up! (After all, I didn’t even know that’s what he did, and I look at my own face a fair amount.)
At first I was worried about how big my hair was, but he assured me that it would come down little by little over the next couple of hours. He was completely correct. 4 hours later it was absolutely perfect, and just in time for the wedding. The curls kept falling, but it still looked pretty when I was getting ready for bed. This was the first time I have had my hair done where the person actually took the time of the event into account. I thought it was outstanding!!!
As well as the salon being clean, the stylists being talented and friendly, this place was also a great deal. This is the best salon experience I have had in years! Too bad it’s not in my home city!!!
