Perfect size Philly for a good lunch. It’s smaller than you might be expecting, but it’s a filling sandwich. Decent food. 3 stars means A-OK(food), not avoid. If you don’t need seating or service and just want a good decent sandwich, this is a good option.

Lee’s makes me equally happy and sad. Happy that I found this place because they serve the best Cheesesteaks in Nashville by far. Sad because I have lived a half mile away for a year and just now found it. You can get the cheesesteaks spicy or regular. I prefer the regular because it’s traditional, but the spicy still tastes great. I haven’t had anything else from Lee’s but there really isn’t a reason to try something different. The Cheesesteaks are so freaking good.

Wow! Great Philly cheesesteak sandwich!!! The neighborhood is a little unappealing and there is nowhere to sit inside but definitely one of the best I’ve had!

My review is based on the Onion Rings. The best Onion Rings I’ve ever had and I never expected this place would be a place for Onion Rings. The burger was Delicious too!(Two patties)! Why spend $ 7 for fast food burger when you can get fresh cooked buger and fries from here. He actually slice fresh onions and batters them on the spot. The Cheese Stake is good but nothing to write home about. It seems that everything is pretty good here. This place is a solid go to for a meal and cheap.

I’ve been one of Mr. Lee’s customers for about a year and a half now, the food has always been good and tasty. But tonight he really screwed the pooch. I called in 2 Philly combos, one chicken and one beef, one with lettuce, tomato, and mayo, one without. I didn’t say a word about spicy or with jalapeño peppers. Especially knowing how sensitive my friend is about spicy foods. We took them home and noticed they were very spicy, and found jalapeño peppers. I was ok with it, but it was too much for my friend, even after removing the peppers, he couldn’t eat it. I call Mr. Lee and told him I didn’t want these spicy, mine was ok but my friend needs a new chicken Philly without the jalapenos because he couldn’t finish it. He said bring it back and he will make a new one, and he thought I ordered spicy. Ok, no problem, things happen, and he’s never gotten an order wrong before. We get back in the car and go back there. My buddy hands him back the sandwich and said sorry, this is just too spicy for me, and he appreciated him agreeing to make a new one for him. He opened it and said, oh I can’t make you a new one because you ate half of it. UM… AREYOUSERIOUSRIGHTNOW? Of course he’s going to try to peel the peppers off and eat it… BECAUSEWEDON’T WANTTOHAVETOMAKEANOTHERTRIP… But it was just too hot for him so we made the call. You’re gonna waste our time after we made a special trip back there, when you’re the one who got the order wrong? I’ve averaged 3 visits a month there, and my friend maybe once a month. So, a sandwich that might cost him 2 dollars to make, he’s going to piss off 2 regular customers because he’s a cheap bastard. Good riddance, this is an example of horrible customer service, and being penny wise and dollar foolish. We’ll go where our business is appreciated. These days, customers have a voice. Remember that.

Delicious cheese steak! Just had my first Lee’s experience last week at the recommendation of a friend and I’ll definitely be going back. Food was ready in 10 mins. or less, ultra clean place, Lee is very friendly, and the menu is specialized to Lee’s expertise.

Mr. Lee is very nice and the place is always spotless. I always try to peek in the food prep area of restaurants to see how clean it is and this place is very clean. The food is not bad and the prices are good. Mr. Lee lived in Philadelphia for many years and makes a pretty tasty Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich.

I’ve been a few times off and on and I swear the owner remembered us. Mr. Lee is REALLY nice and the place is super clean. The burgers are actually really good and everything is made to order and fresh/hot. I will go back to support Mr. Lee and his local business.

This is a takeout only place! I would call ahead unless you want to wait 10 mins for your food. It is well worth the wait. This man makes the best Philly Cheese steak I have ever put in my mouth! I have had alot of Philly’s in my hay day just for the record, but I have never had a Philly in Philly… but i have had a Philly in Chicago that was mighty tasty… any who you should try this place out if you and in Nashville and want a Philly best one in town and the owner is super nice guy!!! The wings are good also. I have yet to try the catfish but I will update yawl when I do! Philly is bout $ 8 after tax comes with drink and fries…

I was meeting a friend for dinner and we decided we wanted Philly Cheese Steaks. Neither of us had been to Lee’s but the reviews online were decent so we decided to try it out. We didn’t realize unil we got there that it is take out only! Luckily there are a couple picnic tables near-by that we hi-jacked for a few minutes. Now, this was my FIRST Philly Cheese Steak experience but I thought it was absolutely delicious! The owner was super nice and made our order right away. My only qualm was that the place smelled kinda weird when I walked in and I couldnt put my finger on it. But, the sandwich was delicious and next time I have a craving I will definitely be back.

Philly Cheese Steak in Nashville? Yeah sorta. Very clean place, run by a friendly Asian couple. The husband assembled our cheese steaks with the discipline of a sushi chef. They were flavorful without being gristly or greasy, on a pretzel roll, pretty damn good. No cheese sauce, they weren’t having it. Still, it didn’t matter. The fries were perfectly prepared in very clean oil. These two get really simple things right. I’d recommend anything on the menu based off of what I experienced. This place is a good fix for a chomp right next to Fat Mo’s in the the strip mall. Easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it.

I found the cheese steak sandwich to be yummy– and a good price. Something that’s easy to do and takes little thought– great after a long day.

Had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The meat was not sliced thinly enough and was tough and chewy. The bread was lacking. Maybe Pepperidge Farm from Kroger. I will give them another shot, but IMO they gotta bring it up several notches if they want to be in business past April ’11.
