Extremely over priced! I paid over $ 200 for a cut and color. Not only that but I got there at 1:30 to 5:30! 5 hours for a decent hair cut! It wasn’t even that great. Never going back.

Didn’t get service. Prices too high. You can get a eye wax anywhere and worth it for $ 10 they charge $ 16. We were working out here and had time to kill between jobs.
I wanted a fill in. my cousin went in to check prices the lady said she needed to see my nails. Most nail salons have set prices. I know this is west end meaning everything is over priced, but nails and wax should be set and a little more cheaper. Fyi you may get more customers.

I have been going to Madlen for over 10 years for waxing. She is the best in town! But today, I had her employee give me my first eye last extensions, and they were only $ 165! They’re beautiful!

I went to Madlen’s and had my eyelash extensions done by Alina. She was so nice and did a wonderful job! She took her time and made sure that my lashes looked perfect. It has been a little over 3 weeks and my lashes still look amazing! I have been getting lash extensions for a while, and these are by far the best I have ever had. She is also very flexible with my schedule!

I’ve been getting Brazilians by Madlen for a couple of years now and she’s just awesome. As far as scheduling… my meeting schedule changes frequently so I usually need to get in on short notice, or reschedule at the last minute, and she can usually work me in whenever needed and is very responsive. As far as the waxing goes, she is very efficient and does a great job, even taking care to get any stray hairs out with the tweezers. Her prices are very reasonable too. She’s so nice and sweet to talk to, will definitely be going to see Madlen for the forseeable future!

Madlen is amazing! Ever had a Brazilian wax? Painful? Little bit. Awkward? Oh yeah. Worth it? ABSOLUTELY! Having a Brazilian is anything but fun, but Madlen is THE expert. I’ve been going to her for about a year now and I just pray she never moves away.

I went to Madlen’s for the first time today after a friend raved about her brow waxes by Madlen herself. I went for a bikini wax and have had two done at Escape Day Spa but wanted to find a location that was more convenient.
Alina did my wax. Although the end result was fine, the experience was not great and I believe was over priced.
Pros:
— Friendly staff
— End result was nice
Cons: Some of these are a little picky but when it comes to safety/​cleanliness and comfort, I thought I should include it all.
— Did not provide a paper panty or wipe down the skin surface with sanitary wipe or apply powder
— Re-​dipped the same stick during the whole session instead of using new sticks
— Was not offered water, wipes, or instructions for care of the area afterwards
— Room was not very calm/​relaxing for a spa, but rather very bright and medical
— Charged $ 42 for a basic bikini wax. The website states «$ 32 and up» but I didn’t see why it would be $ 10 more. When I stated the price was on the website she didn’t seem to believe me. Although she reluctantly offered to charge $ 32, I offered $ 40.
Next time I will drive 15 minutes to Escape.

I have been going Madlen for almost two years now. I was referred to her by my mother who was referred by a friend upon our arrival to Tennessee. She is the BEST! No one has ever done by eyebrows as well as her. I already have very thick, full, and long eyebrows and other people usually don’t know how to do them. When Madlen is done with them, I always get compliments on my brows. Some think that I use brow pencils and powders to fill them in. She truly has gifted hands and she does exactly what you request. I don’t let anyone touch my brows, except Madlen. I also got to her for other waxes as well and she does a great job. Madlen is very kind and professional. Her shop is always clean and I have never had a negative experience there.

I have had brow wax’s by all three ladies and all do a wonderful job! I have a large scar under one brow so they can be difficult to shape. I have always been happy with Madlen’s. I highly recommend.

Best place in Nashville to get a wax. Madlen is awesome. Everyone is so professional. Once you try them you will never go anywhere else.

I’ve been to 2 other popular wax studios in Nashville my brows lack shape and grow downward. Most people I’ve been to fail to get the nice arch I always ask for. Madlen’s was clean, professional and she did an excellent job reshaping my brows and getting me the nice arch I desired.
*I recommend taking in a picture of what u want your brows to look like & communicate the fullness you want remaining.
Madlen was kind, warm & professional. She took her time & seemed dedicated to her craft, something to appreciate! I will definitely be back.

Madlen’s is so much more than a spa. I have been going there for several years and Madlen and Alina are like family. Alina is very knowledgeable about Skincare… just one look at her and you’ll know what I mean… beautiful on the inside AND out. Her passion and expertise is reflected on her clients’ skin. Not the fanciest place in town but who cares? Madlen is the best in town at what she does. I recommend her 100%!

Madlen is truly as good as it gets. I am a longtime waxing customer of hers (over 7 years), and even though I’ve moved from Nashville I return for her amazing services as often as I can. She is hands down THE BEST when it comes to Brazilian waxing, and it is over before you even know it. Madlen is the only person that has ever been able to make my thick, curly haired brows look clean and symmetrical & she has a customer for life in me. You definitely won’t regret your experience with her.

I’m fairly new to Nashville and have tried a few places for great brows and other spa services. My eyebrows are thick and easy for someone to mess up if they aren’t accustomed to waxing customers with thick hair. I was referred to Madlen’s by a friend and I couldn’t be more pleased. She took her time and gave instructions and suggestions for how to keep my brows looking great at all times. After sharing my great experience with my daughter, she went the next day and is super siked that she’s found the perfect person to tame and sculpt her thick brows.

Jen Haulter’s and the whole crew at Madelins are great for waxing. I never waxed my eyebrows until I went to Jen at Madelins a couple of years ago and she completely transformed my brows. She literally changed the way my whole face looks because of the great brow transformation and now I never pluck I just faithfully go to Madelins. Plus the service is friendly. Definitely check out Madelins for waxing!

I have been going to Madlen for brow services for close to ten years now. Having bad experiences elsewhere in the past, I refuse to go anywhere else. She is super meticulous, knows exactly what to do to keep my crazy eyebrows under control, and never over thins them. They always look perfect! She knew what she was doing, it wasn’t nearly as painful as places I have been in the past, and the price is pretty good. I highly recommend Madlen’s!
