THISS FUCKEN PLACE SUCKS. I ALWAYS ORDER FOR PICK UP OVER THE PHONE. WHEN I GO PICK UP THE FOOD. ITS ALWAYS FUCKEN COLD-​_​-​. today i wanted to try the brookie and that she does not look like a brokkiee at all!. even the cheessticks all cold and shit. very unacceptable.. If your the type of customer who likes to eat your food cold then come here:)) make sure if your order a dipping sauce to double check your order. i always get charged for them but. Never receive them unless i tell the young rude bitch who works here

Bad place to get pizza, I have eaten papa johns before and it’s usually good. This place suck all around. The pizza was not cut in slices and it was bad. The guy charging has bad customer services and only gave me 2 pepper bags for my huge order. Also he didn’t want to give me any napkins not plates. There’s so many pizza places just go else where.

Avoid this location. Young blonde female working the register this evening must HATE her job… But hey, that’s why they pay you right? From the time you clock in, ’till the time you clock out you have to put that mask on my dear. Or at least wait ’till the customer is gone to put that annoyed face on. My order was incomplete and when I had pointed that out to her, she acted like it was MY fault for noticing… Lol, bye girl! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

After further concern at the corporate number they post I left a message for Jason who never got back to me till this day from the original date of incident. Customers DO NOT come first with this business.

Papa John’s was one of my favorite fast food, pizza places to go growing up and while I was in college. I still do enjoy a Papa John’s pizza from time to time, but DEFINITELY not from this location. I’ve had a couple bad encounters at this location, but it’s an easy drive to get here when I’m feeling super lazy. It’s never the pizza that’s bad, it’s just the customer service. Geez, it’s horrible!
I came tonight, I don’t know what the girl’s name is, but she was the only girl working tonight. She answered the phone and shortly after, my name was called saying that a pizza was ready. I got up and walked towards her, willing to wait until she was off the phone, just to show that it was for me and I was ready (I still needed to pay).
Instead of the girl finishing up her phone order and talking to me one-​on-​one, like any person with good customer service would do, she gives me my receipt with a pen. Which, I guess some people would appreciate, but what if I wanted to add on a some soda or something else additional to my order at the last minute? What she SHOULD’VE ask, granted, good customer service mind you, was, «will this be all for you tonight?» So, after she gives me the paper and pen, I’m just waiting because I wanted to grab extra garlic sauce dips and I know they’re an extra $ 0.50 each. She looks back at me and says, «um, you just have to sign it.» UM, HELLO. COMMON SENSE, I KNOW. I let her know that I want to order some extra things.
She later tells me she can’t combine the two orders (pizza and extra stuff) because once she completes an order, it erases from the screen. I proceed to let her know how it should’ve been handled, with good customer service, and received a deer-​in-​headlights response.
It’s situations like this when I can’t fathom why people are protesting for $ 15/​hour. I worked fast food majority of the time I was going through college, I even worked in two pizza joints, so I know how the game goes. I received minimum wage for a minimum skill job, but I still did my job to the best of my ability.
If you want to find fast food people who do deserve $ 15/​hour wages, go check out the McDonalds in Del Mar Heights. Some of the finest fast food customer service I’ve ever received.

I travel a lot. Papa Johns is a good pizza in many franchisee locations. This location is a «no go!» Everything happened from ordering issues, to late delivery, to pizza smashed in half. OMG, do not use these guys.

I just ordered a pizza, it is cold barely any cheese. I’m only giving a star because the delivery boy was nice. I will never order from here again. Save your money.

I ordered pizza online but realized my apartment number wasn’t on file so I called immediately to give it to them, the manager went off on me on how changing details on the order would change the offer prices and I’d have to pay more. I told them all I wanted was to give them my apartment number not make changes to my pizza!!! Then he said just for today they would make an exception… Does he realize he is not making me any favor, his driver is the one that is gonna get lost and end up bringing back the pizza to the store!!! Then I asked if he could send crushed red pepper for my 4 pizzas and all he sent was I packet of pepper in each pizza… Really? I packet per pizza? Wow you guys are greedy! I received 4 cold pizzas and 4 miserable small packets of red pepper, thanks papa johns lol! Hideous customer service…

Out of the four years i been in san diego this place has worse customer service. the deliver person was extremely rude and has an attitude issue. This is definitely last time im ordering anything from this place. i didnt even want give a star.

Ordered a 2 topping pizza at #PapaJohns online and received a plain cheese pizza. When I called, they were of no assistance. Non-​accommodating and not worth it.

Ordered pizza to our hotel room.
They had a special of $ 17.99 that after the tax and delivery. And one 2 litter and bread sticks it comes out to be $ 34!
Not a great value!

The pizza at this Papa Johns was ready in time as the carryout confirmation email stated (+3 stars) — and picked up on time; however, upon digging in minutes later I was disappointed in how cold the pizza was and how the garlic sauce looked like frozen butter (–2 stars). After reading some of the reviews on here for this particular Papa Johns, I was not surprised to see similar experiences from others. I should have read these Unilocal reviews before buying here but I had a few hungry kids to feed and no time for due diligence. For those of you reading, steer away from this place.

First off let me say that I love Papa Johns pizza, with that said it’s just sad I have to drive to Bonita to get it when I live in National city. I’ve given up on this location on plaza blvd. I ordered online waited 20 minutes before I left my house so I arrived in about 30 minutes. I arrive and pay for my order and had to wait an additional hour as everyone just kept walking by and saying it’s coming right out… Manager kept reassuring me as well, but you can just tell they where trained to say that. Sorry but enough is enough!

Seriously over an hour for carry out. Go somewhere else for pizza.

Went to pick it up. After waiting an additional 15 mins before going in there. They waited 50 mins before telling me my pizza went missing

The only time I ever order from Papa John’s is when I’m in desperate need for a pizza… And I mean DESPERATE.
Welp, unfortunately Monday night I became determined to have pizza mostly because:
1. I had finals on Tuesday
2. I didn’t feel like moving 10 feet to my refrigerator
3. Yes, I was that lazy.
Anyway, Papa John’s on Plaza is the only pizza place that delivers to our apartment complex (which kinda sucks). So I order a large Hawaiian with olives online. Have a coupon for $ 11.99 large 3 topping — perfect. Turns out that their delivery fee is $ 3 plus tax. It ended up being nearly $ 18 for a delivered large pizza… And the wait — 1 hour.
Now, the pizza wasn’t awful or anything, but at best it was just okay.
Overall, I would have rather spent my gas money driving to Domino’s or the grocery store for frozen pizza.

The worst! After ordering online, I received an email stating that I would receive my pizza in 30 – 40 mins. As I’m typing this, it’s been over an hour and 10 mins and I still haven’t received it. I called the store 20 mins earlier asking about my order. They informed me that the wait would be 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins! When I replied that my email stated I should expect the pizza in 30 – 40 mins, the manager had no reason or excuse!
Horrible.
Now I’m calling again to just cancel the order!

Unprofessional service, cold pizza delivered and RUDE employees. Its sad because I enjoy the pizza but will have to change due to their horrible service.
Quality has definitely declined both in service and food.
