1 star because my food was ready in 5 minutes. When I went in the person that took my order was watching something on an iPad… and didn’t even look at me when I made my order. I got chicken and broccoli in a white sauce… a white sauce is normally garlicy. this white sauce tasted like nothing… very bland. I was not very happy with how my food tasted. I will not be returning.

Its a simple no frills chinese takeout joint. But these guys are pretty good. I came here back in the 90’s and disliked it so much that i never went back. However, earlier this month(dec’13) i decided to go back and order shrimp egg foo young w/white rice… these guys aren’t the best but their def up there It was good, some places completely screw up the sauce, not them. I then went back a week or so later and ordered fried rice with half a chicken…2 for 2! Their fried rice is better than most other takeout spots. I then went back and had some fried rice with chicken and mushrooms…3 for 3. The prices are average… def one of the better chinese takeout joints around the neighborhood.

If you’re looking for PF Changs go there(or go and buy the frpzen meals). Joy Hing is you’re average neighborhood Chinese spot. Nothing glorious about this bad boy. Lunch special runs every day until 3. Cheap eats. Other than that? Not so cheap. I usually get the shrimp and broccoli with brown rice. It’s $ 5.20 on the lunch special menu. Not bad at all. Pretty tasty. And nice and hot. They are usually pretty friendly. The crunchy noodles are crunchy and I used to LOVE the wonton soup. I don’t anymore because I’ve given up meat but if I didn’t please believe. They have tea in there as well that you can drink all you want for free. And they are lightening fast. My food is always ready within 5 or 6 minutes. Can’t beat that.
