Good evening, I’ve been up all day with something on my mind at first, I was not going to say anything, but it might be a problem that someone needs to know about. So I went to Club Caribbean with a few friends last night, we r always enjoy ourselves and it’s a break, just to release negative energy from the day. Love this place, first bad experience, walked in music was so good, the vibe was good, went to the bar asked for a pineapple and amaretto, young lady fixed my drink, I gave her $ 20 she proceeded to make change in the process of laughing and talking to another young lady in the corner, I’m looking at her because all of a sudden she looked confused, she came back gave me $ 5 mind you the drink was $ 5, she hurried and walked away, so for about 10 minutes I’m trying to get her attention she see’s me but is avoiding me, finally the gentleman behind the bar ask if I need something I ask him how much was the drink he say $ 5, I say I gave her a $ 20 bill, he calls her she says(You gave me a $ 10 bill, I’m saying no and I know what I gave you she walks off, my friends ask me if I’m ok, I say sure, in my mind I’m thinking she must have needed it, when I get home realizing what if she’s doing this to other customers, love the place, love the music, when you order a drink, watch your change, but otherwise, love the place, the music is great, will not let one bad experience stop me from going. Young light skinned, short hair cut lady, you didn’t kill it for me, I know now to watch my money, my experience 4 stars, lost 1 with drink experience

Music: 4 Ambience: 1 Location: 3 Drinks: 1.5 HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!! Ok, now that I have gotten that out of my system. Read my review below. I visited this spot on a Sat in Oct 2015, during my second visit to Nola. My crew was getting over the Frenchmen & Bourbon Sts flow and wanted to some Hiphop/dancehall/reggae music. We ended up here, thanks to my Unilocal skills. Music: It was dope! Pure dancehall and all that Caribbean flow. The DJ was on point Ambience: Ok, this place was kinda whack. Inside was too packed and smokey. Music was too loud. Sometimes, it smelled like cannabis. The stage was full with random-looking people. Location: Ok, location and plenty of non-regulated parking. Drinks: Cheap but whack! The bar looked far from neat and the drinks were so small. I will return for the music for maybe 20 minutes at most. Tip: entry fee was $ 10 pp, I think

I’m sad we didn’t get the experience we needed to give this place more stars. It was dead here when we went on a Friday night. It has potential I’m sure and if you’re in NOLA visiting it is off the beaten path(aka not Bourbon or Frenchman)

Bomb Music, Crowded, and Smokey. Authentic reggae club. Coming from the west coast where people actually dance to dancehall, reggae, soca, etc. it was odd seeing people just standing around. Also very hard to hail a cab to or from this place and it’s far from the French quarter so I recommend you drive there.

This place rocks. If you like reggae come late. Smokey but real. The bartenders are great. The dj spins some nice groovy reggae beats.

I loove reggae so this was the place for me! Got there around 10:45pm & it was pretty empty. You want to get there around 12:30am when everyone is strolling in! They played culture & dancehall all night. Wish I heard a little Soca but that’s okay. Left around 2:30am & got some jerk chicken outside! Amaaaazing!
