The flavors are very rich and authentic. Don’t be afraid to order the smaller sizes, it will still be satisfying. The service was pleasant, the staff was very friendly and more than willing to answer any questions. The tiramisu and caramel were my favorite. Will come again when visiting NYC.

Amorino has a great selection of amazing gelato. I chose dark chocolate and pistachio(my favorites) and was not disappointed. Can’t wait to come back

One of the best ice cream places ever! I tried three flavors(chocolate, raspberry, and tiramisu) in a large cup. Chocolate and raspberry tastes are hella YUM! My friend also loves chocolate and raspberry a lot. We will go there again for AWESOME ice cream. My friends and I went there around 9 pm, and there were available seatings inside. It really is a very nice place to chill with friends! The staffs are very nice too. My friend forgot her iphone at their store. She didn’t notice until she got on the train. Then, she went back to the store to find her ph. Luckily, one of the staffs found and kept it, so my friend got her phone back. Thanks a million to this amazing staff!

This place was so delightful! Great service fabulous gelato. Their attention to detail was refreshing, too. A few steps away from a overpacked Shake Shack. So glad we found this delicious treat!

This place was amazing! People eat with their eyes first so both my eyes and stomach were very happy. I went on a week day to avoid the crowd. It looks like area of the store open up during the warmer months catering to outside sitting area. Since it was windy when I went, the seating was inside. If you want the full flower effect you see in the pictures, I would suggest going with either the medium or large waffle cone. Once you get your cone, you can essentially pick any gelato flavor they have their. My favorite was raspberry and my friend said his favorite was mango. Definitely a place I would bring people to and I’ll be back surely during the warmer months.

We really liked the atmosphere here, authentic feel and delicious gelato. Hard to find a good place around this part of town, but it really feels like an escape from the chaotic time square. Had the pistachio and Nutella ice cream, along with a hot chocolate. Their macaroons are amazing as well. Side note, their ice cream tastes great and photographs very well.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a coffee shop with a friend to catch up in. Hazelnut gelato is very good – get it in an affogato. Coffee was smooth, and I always appreciate baristas that steam the milk on the side. Also got a chocolate brioche pastry, and while I found it fine, it was forgettable. Staff is quite friendly and I liked the warm, wooden chic café atmosphere, with pretty ample, comfortable seating. Seems to be a low key place, which is a relief in this part of the city.

I stumbled upon this location one Saturday afternoon. It is a nice size space, tastefully decorated and best of all, they have gelato similar to what you can taste in Italy. There are several sized cups(pricey) but it is truly delicious. They will let you get as many flavors as you like provided there is room in the cup you choose. I believe the owners and some staff are italian. Of course, you can also get the coffee of your choice. Friends of mine are coming in from out of town and will be staying near Amorino and are already excited. I got the mid sized cup with straciatella(chocolate chip) and blood orange gelato. Both were excellent. There is adequate seating and a restroom. I would recommend strongly and will return.

Second time visiting this tasty treat in Times Square. You’re greeted by lovely staff that are interested in letting you find your flavor. I think I’ve found mine!

The ladies who were working tonight(2÷2÷16) were so much fun! They made my whole experience amazing and it’s customer service like that, that brings people back into that specific store. Keep up the great work ladies. You rock!

This Amorino location is relatively new, opening around Thanksgiving of 2015. Despite its location in a busy area just off Times Square, I haven’t seen this location get too chaotic(yet). In addition to being a pleasant retreat from the nearby insanity, this Amorino has all of the hallmarks of the chain: delicious flavors(particularly the unrivaled pistachio), the flower-shaped gelato(they’ll fit as many flavors as you want in a cone/cup — just test them out!), and the option to try as many flavors as you want before deciding what to get. The location is shiny and new(no surprise). Lovely décor — like the one downtown, a brown/white color scheme and stools at high tables as well as more comfortable chairs. The staff are very friendly and accommodating when serving the gelato — happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The ice cream macarons are secretly awesome. No one goes there for the macarons, but I’d recommend trying one(particularly the pistachio if you’re a pistachio fan). They’re a bit pricey but absolutely delicious.

I can’t speak to how well-regarded Amorino is elsewhere, but it seems like everyone’s enjoying their gelato so far. We couldn’t decide on flavors and were luckily allowed to fit four different flavors into our cup. Ultimately, we picked straciatella, cherry, hazelnut, and coconut. Consensus is you probably can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. Try something new for once!

I first tasted Amorino Gelato while studying abroad. This is a French chain that is available in most of the major European capitals and I and everyone I know loved it. They’re known for their distinctive flower shaped cones. I was thrilled when they opened a location downtown and even more so to see this new Theater District location, marking the first great gelato place in the area(there is a Grom near Columbus Circle). My second time here I brought my friend who has never tried Amorino before and claimed she has never had a good experience with gelato before. The woman who worked there, Lynn(the manager?) was over the top nice to us. I feel embarrassed asking for more than 2 samples but she went out of the way to offer us multiple taste combinations and in end insisted we try about 20 different flavors. Such amazing customer service, especially coming from a chain store! I’m in the area a lot to see Broadway shows and I’m definitely coming here beforehand each time, if only to relax with a coffee. The café area is adorable and not very crowded as most people leave quickly after finishing their gelato. I highly recommend their pistachio and hazelnut flavors, as well as their chocolate hazelnut. Their vanilla gelato is perhaps the richest vanilla gelato or ice cream I’ve ever tasted, and you can see all the vanilla beans speckled throughout. Their sorbets are amazing as well. I’ll have to try the other desserts and drinks. –a gelato addict who ate my way through most of the cities of Italy

Literally great ice cream, i can say the best in NYC. The prices are pretty high thats why the 4 stars are for. The staff told me they bring all the ice cream all the way from France which makes 0 sense. Why cant they make their own ice cream. I guess thats the reason of the high price but camon, you can make an ice cream you are in America!

Gelato on a cold day?! Yes! Amorino is most known for its flower shaped gelato on a cone. You have probably seen Instagram posts of it everywhere. Even though this Amorino is in a chaotic and busy location(Times Square District), it gives you a break once you step inside. Walking in, you will see all the different kinds of gelato flavors. You can’t stop yourself from marveling over it! The ambiance is great, as well as the décor. They have high tables with stools, as well as cushioned couches and chairs. The color scheme is also nice(brown/white). These elements add a nice touch to the place. The place is super clean and laid back. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They really do put a lot of effort into making the gelato flower. You can sample the flavors if you are unsure of what to get. I got lemon, mango, pistachio and vanilla. You can get as many flavors as you want, I think. The person that was making my gelato flower explained to me how she was going to do the flavors, so the flavors wouldn’t clash and I wouldn’t get sick! I thanked her and was super impressed. It seems like the staff really do work hard to satisfy their customers, which is great! Back to the gelato! It tasted heavenly! If you are craving for something sweet, definitely check this place out! You can’t go wrong with gelato!

Great experience. Manager gave us a free tart when we misinterpreted him(he asked if we wanted to try it, but we thought he meant try a piece) 2 Americanos and a tart later we are very happy New Yorkers. Will surely repeat this visit and I can now add to my Time Square recommendation list!

Walked in to this centrally-located(yet very close to Shake Shack and oddly opening mid-winter) Amorino outpost and learned after asking one staffer at the front that you order at the register farther from the door and then return to her(but if you want samples, like the cherry, hazelnut, and caramel I tried — she didn’t listen well, and I’d only asked for one of those) to get your order scooped. The Kids size(Coppa(Kids) For Here $ 3.54) fit more scoops(«as many as you want») than originally cited(«2, and the small fits 3»), so I went with the upsetting dulce de leche, the superb speculoos, and the solid coconut. Some seating at the back.
