Never have Splenda for some reason and now we know why– it’s closing. Could have given some heads up for the recurrent customers.

This review is based entirely on my favorite bread there… which is the green tea mochi bread. I passed by this place coincidentally since I was waiting for my friend to come. They have a smaller selection of breads and cakes than those at tous les jours or at Paris bakery across the street. However, it’s a quaint spot if you’re looking for a place to just sit without much distraction of people going in and out. I haven’t tried any of their other beds because nothing is appealing to me except those of chewy consistency like the tapioca flour based ones. They have this one bread that is like that but it’s a green tea version. It’s a much bigger bread to but cost $ 2.25. It’s not worth it to get it often and its not there all the time but when it is, I always snatch it!!! The consistency like just like tapioca bread at tous les jours. The good thing is that after a certain time probably 8pm… They offer a bread discount. I forget the discount but I think it was around 20−25%…It’s better than nothing! Def try the tapioca bread!

I don’t come here often since their bake goods are limited. They changed management so they now offer pasta, salad, burrito, and sandwiches, Which I haven’t tried but a co worker has tried their breakfast sammie, the sausage+egg+cheese was quite good. Since you can’t find that often around flushing. I used to come here only for their cookies sometimes and their banana walnut bread. But everytime I come by to grab the banana walnut bread, it’s always unavailable. But the last time I got it, which was a few days ago. The bread is different. It’s the same price but the bread was super dry. I could only take 2 bites… it took a while to get them down. Sad…

3 stars because the service is really slow. They have a good assortment of cakes but I think they are lacking in the pastry department. I do like how they have a Create Your Own Salad and Pasta section. That’s something you don’t see in Flushing! Evening Specials: 6pm-11pm Coffee &1 slice cake for $ 4.50 All bread 20% off

It was Willie’ W.‘s birthday this past Sunday and someone needed to go get a last minute cake. My sister and a close friend were in the area and just so happened spotted this place across the street, after stopping the car in front of Paris Baguette. Alright, let’s try it out. They purchased the Fruit Cake shaped like a dome covered with lots of whipped cream, finished with some fresh fruits on top. It was very very moist and had just the right amount of sweetness. The cake was pretty fluffy, and the cream was light. Would come back to try all their other sweets.

Variety of snacks to take home or eat there but lately I noticed something was not right. Tables were empty but all food Particles & tissue papers on the top of it. Chairs not tucked in, seems like floor has not been swept for a while. Toilet trash can is full & overflowing paper towels. Card boards laid on the wall & empty milk basket everywhere scattered & looked very untidy, they play Good korean pop songs but nobody to take care of all theses stuffs I just mentioned above. I even saw a guy eating behind the counter when customer was waiting to pay, looks very unprofessional. Please do not take it as offended, I always wanted to address this otherwise the owner’s business will hit the ground in no time. This place has a very good potential to grow. I am a very clean person & want to be brutally honest or else go by your instinct. Now I see they DOH closed this business. Ridiculous !!

Great, convenient location for coffee/breads. The thai iced tea and taro bubble tea are delicious! The breads are your typical run of the mill korean bakery breads but there’s a huge selection all packaged beautifully. The staff is very friendly. I used to come here almost everyday to study and do work, b/c there’s free wifi and outlets for my laptop. I stopped though because one time when I came here a homeless man came into the café and grabbed my wallet out of my bag when I was on the phone. Thankfully a couple sitting next to me, saw him and yelled at the man and he ran out of the store. Nothing against cake house win, but it is located in a central area in downtown main street, so just be careful with your belongings if you come here!

How could I not have written a review for this place yet? I was in dire need of a birthday cake for a birthday lunch and was thinking of getting one at Paris Baguette, luckily i was looking around while i was walking and saw this place. When you walk in, its a cozy little café with a lot of mouthwatering treats staring at you. The staff is über friendly and very sweet. I ordered a cake and asked if they could write happy birthday on it, they said yes and asked if I could wait 5 minutes — next thing I know I’m being handed a cup of coffee. I thought that was really nice, except that I don’t drink coffee. Still a very sweet gesture though. As for the cake that I got, I completely forgot its name but it tasted very good! The sweetness was just right and it was perfectly moist. If I ever find myself in Flushing again for a birthday, I already know where to get my birthday cakes :)

Out of all the bakeries that are Asian, this is one of my favorites in the east coast. The bread is fresh and have a variety.

My favorite go-to Asian bakery in downtown Flushing. They have a variety of pastries and a good amount of selection of espressos. My favorite drinks for a cold day has to be the sweet potato latte, which sometimes isn’t available so when it’s there, order up! The cake selection is good and tastes delicious. My personal favorites are the chocolate and the mocha cakes which can be personalized for a small fee and comes with a candle as an option. There is decent amount of seating and, yes, free wi-fi! The staff is great and friendly. I recommend going here rather than the big chains right on the corner.

I love to stop by here when I’m in town. If you compare it to the Paris Baguette across the street(and the other popular chain bakeries in the area) this places has a lot of pros: –Usually enough seating, at least when I’ve been there. –A lot of selection in their baked good section, just as much as Paris Baguette(or possibly more) and they started carrying stuff which Paris Baguette no longer carries like those little pizza bread things. I love those! –Coffee and toast during morning rush hour. –They offer discounts on their baked goods toward the end of the day –Not too loud or too crowded I also bought a cake from here on two occasions and they were perfect. I gave one to a coworker and he loved it, he said it was light, fluffy, and the icing was not too sweet and just right. Not like the other cakes you’d find in a typical American grocery store where the icing is way too sweet and really slathered on. I also received a strawberry short cake one on my birthday and it was perfect, just like what my coworker said. They have a decent selection of cakes too and they’ll provide you with candles. Definitely try a strawberry short cake. The only con I can really think about is that if you use a smart phone you might have hard time getting signal in there. They might have free wifi, but I don’t know about this. Otherwise this is my new favorite bakery in Main Street.

Stopped in here for some wireless, a cup of tea and a small baked good that I don’t recall the name of. First off, took a chance on the Sweet Tangerine Tea. Wow! One of the best non-coffee hot drinks I’ve had in awhile. Savoring it for a good half hour and suddenly, what’s this? Tangerine bits sweetened by honey at the bottom of the cup. I could only smile. People working here are friendly and the smells coming from the bakery area are simply enticing. Definitely returning here next time I’m in the city.

I figured buying a cake from this house wasn’t going to be bad at all because the previous owners of cake house win was really nice and there baked goods were really cheap and reasonable compare to paris and tous but the new owners or whoever decided to take over made the bakery a lot nicer than before but I was really disappointed to find mold in the birthday cake my boyfriend purchased. It was just disgusting and disappointing and I had called them and the lady said maybe cuz the friuts weren’t fresh. I mean really? Is that even an answer? Everything is supposed to be fresh and you should say that with confidence. My boyfriend eventually went back the next morning and got his refund but the birthday was ruined for the birthday girl and everyone else who was there. Bought the cake at the last minute and no other bakery was opened. Point is no customer should end up with mold in their birthday cake. There’s just no excuse for that. And the iced green tea I ordered a while back didn’t taste like green tea but like matcha powder was just added instead of actual green tea. Didn’t like it much but I still went back but after finding mold in the cake, I don’t think I’ll be going back now.

Delicious shaved ice! You just can’t go wrong! A friend and I finished our«Flushing food tour» with Cake House Win. We were craving something sweet, but nothing too over the top, so we decided on Korean shaved ice. The bowl can easily feed two or more. Tip: After 6PM, they sell their baked goods at 7 for $ 10. It never hurts to stop in for some awesome Korean baked goods to take home.

I came here on a very cold day after walking from Corona to Flushing. This place is great– there was ample seating, but it still felt really cozy. My friends and I sat here for a few hours, and no one ushered us out, or tried to pressure us to buy more stuff. The set-up is great, because all of the baked goods are set out near the front(rather than behind the counter), and you can walk through and peruse them at your own leisure.(I like this, because usually when I am in line at bakeries I feel pressure to hurry up and place my order.) The prices were really good, as well. And I’d definitely reccommend the green tea cookies. They were just savory enough and just sweet enough. Hands-down my new favorite place in Flushing.

Do we really need another Korean French style bakery in this part of Flushing? Well they built it and people have come. Not as many as Paris and Tous. Came in here to purchase two of the mini cakes that were wrapped in plastic. They didn’t have any hard covering for the cakes and the staff was going to shove both of them in a plastic bag. They did it kind of carelessly but I managed to stop them from shoving the second mini cake in the bag like a pair of socks. The staff person I was working with that day was a little clueless about giving me change too. I will give them one more shot when things settle in. My first impression is that they do not offer as large a variety as the other bakeries nearby.

This new bakery is great for your hot winter drinks. As someone who doesn’t drink coffee I’m always looking for new drinks to try and the tangerine tea from cake house win is delicious. They also have a large assortment of fresh baked goods and great deals morning and night. The cakes they have inside also look charming. This might be a good place to go for a special occasion cake. The service was fast and efficient. The only drawback to this place is the limited seating. It’s pretty crowded during the day. However the day I went was unusually cold.
