Chicken leg — okay at best. Wouldn’t waste my stomach space. Sausage — a little salty but good. Beef rib — soft and salty Top sirloin — pretty good. Juicy. Not as salty as beef rib. Chicken wrapped in zucchini. Better than first chicken but just okay. Prime rib — pretty good Flank steak — pretty good Duck — greasy but not bad. Turkey wrapped in bacon was better than the chicken only because it was wrapped in bacon. Lamb — maybe I’m too used to halal but I wasn’t ready for the taste of real lamb. Sirloin — was okay Skirt — was okay Ribeye — is Okay Filet wrapped with bacon — juicy Pig — tough skin okay. Fried bananas are spectacular. My friend only ate the bananas all night.

Called to change my reservation and was informed that this restaurant is closed. I sure hope that call everyone who has a reservation and let them know that they have closed! December 29th was their last day.

What a wonderful experience. Extremely attentive staff and very friendly, always smiling and nodding, so sweet. The meats are top quality. My favorite is the prime rib. Also there salad bar is phenomenal so many healthy sides to choose from. Price is actually about $ 62.00 per person but it is a really beautiful atmosphere, and its all you can eat. Will def go back with my family.

I came here with a large group for an office dinner, so it was no doubt we made reservations weeks prior to the actual date. They make you«sign» a contract in case your party doesn’t show up or if you fail to cancel the reservation in a timely manner, they will charge you a certain amount for each head. But if you’re 100% positive that everyone will show up, sign away! It was quite empty on a Saturday evening but that didn’t stop our group of 24 people to divide and conquer. You start off with the appetizers which is the salad bar. It’s quite small compare to others I’ve seen and their selection that night weren’t as great as I would hope it would be. Different salads, your standard cold dishes like shrimp cocktail, cheeses and some hot dishes like stewed beans, risotto and seafood cake. But, you shouldn’t waste your time on that. Once you’re done with your appetizer, flip over this round paper medallion to the green side to start the array of meat(red side would mean to stop and when you’re ready again, flip it to the green!). We were told they had 15 different meats that night and a lot of us were determined to eat all to the end. Each pieces of meat was delicious, tender, juicy, and moist. There was chicken, pork, sausage, beef and duck. The waiters walk around carving, cutting, and serving you these delectable items. Sadly to say, we weren’t able to get the final meat since it never seem to come and we lost track. Dessert was good, but not $ 10 each piece good. Coffee was alright but really help balanced the sweetness of the dessert. I rather eat more meat than choose dessert, that’s my game plan for next time. Overall, good experience. Service was quick and attentive.

This décor of this place is beautiful. I think it’s one of those places that anyone should go to have a unique experience. The food was pretty good. They do Brazilian BBQ in an endless serving fashion. The server just keeps bringing food over until you stop them. Its a cool system. The top sirloin steak is awesome. However, some of the dishes are just mediocre. If I come back Im going to just go nuts on that steak. The service was not what I expected for a restaurant of this caliber. They forgot to bring me a drink, they weren’t on top of clearing the table etc. I think the place is cool overall, I just think the price is too steep for me to come back for that kind of meal.

There is no denying this place has fantastic food. The flank steak, prime rib, and pork sausage that came floating my way were extremely tasty — especially the flank steak… holy crap get your hands on a piece with some of the crispiness on the outside! All that being said, this place is super expensive. I would recommend not eating anything the entire day and coming here for a late dinner so you can get your money’s worth. Also, although this place is good, I’ve had better brazilian food at Ipanema in midtown at a far more reasonable price.

I just want to re-confirm some of my original impressions of this place since I’ve been coming here a lot lately. It is a class act all the way. Not even talking about the enormous meals of succulent Brazilian style carnivorism you can find here should you eat in(its all meat, all-the-time, a deluge, a cataract, a tsunami of roasted and skewered and basted barbecued meat showering down non-stop, upon your plate). I’m just wanting to send this place my compliments for the bar operation They make perfect capareinhas and mojitos. And a happy hour where its Buy-One-Get-One free? Outstanding. Service is attentive;(even though its just one poor, hard-working brunette running her ass off). She knows her stuff; she never intrudes or interrupts at the wrong moment; and it is always quiet and mature enough in this bar to chat with your date without shouting. The overall décor and aesthetic has ‘grandeur’; it is high-ceilinged but unlike so many other high-ceilinged Manhattan spots it is not at all cold; cave-like; dark, or clammy. And the high prices means there’s never any big, dumb, sloppy crowds to hassle with – you can always find a table. The bathrooms are luxurious and the tables are never sticky. They also do fantastic touches here with things like, flower displays; lighting; waterfalls and other tricks to give you the feeling of a ‘monumental’ experience. But it feels genuine; not a ‘put on’. I honestly don’t think the kitchen here has an army of Mexicans doing the cooking behind-the-scenes. And you just can’t beat the live jazz trio playing while you sip your drinks. My god. Stand-up bass; baby grand piano; hot gorgeous musically-gifted babes laying it down! Astrud Gelberto tunes and whatnot. One of the best kept secrets in Tribeca. Skip Nobu and come here. Save up the money for the full meal or just come here in the early evening; get a couple of drinks; and vamoose.

Oh goodness. Was invited for a rodizio buffet dinner with a sizable group of people. Never having rodizio I didn’t know what to expect. But now I’m waiting until the day that I can afford to come here again. Salad bar is EXCEPTIONAL. I could’ve stuffed myself with just the salad options. But I made an effort to pace myself and went on more of a tasting route because I saw what was to come and didn’t want to miss out on the meats. Once it’s time for the meat you’re given a coaster sized piece of paper with a red side and green side signaling the waiter to approach you or not. My coaster was always green. Because I wanted to try everything they brought I would ask the waiter to always cut me the smallest piece. Also because I noticed the waiters would cut the meats slightly haphazardly and I wanted the best cuts because I was only eating slivers I was very picky as to where they cut it. They had had enough of me by the end of the night, but I don’t care, I had delicious food. I couldn’t tel you about the sides ordered cause I didn’t touch them. A great experience and great fun. On the pricy end, but if you get invited, GO!(this will be your only meal for the week — don’t eat for two days before to make room, can’t eat for two days after because you’re so stuffed!)

I’m not a huge fan of Brazilian rodizio restaurants, but even I have to admit this place is GOOD. The restaurant itself is very nice. Basic, but classy. The waiters were very attentive. They always came around when we were ready for some more meat. The prix fixe price includes the salad bar and the meats. The salad bar had veggies, shrimp, sushi, etc. Then the meats… every type of meat you can think of: different cuts of steak, pork, sausage, chicken, roasted pig, turkey. You name the animal, they had it. Every single bite was juicy and flavorful. You can also choose from a few sides, which you probably won’t even touch since there is SOMUCHMEAT. I can’t stress that enough. Come hungry. If you are meat lover, this place is for you. Well worth the money you pay. Oh and this place is on savored at the moment, so you can get 15%-30% off your bill, depending on your reservation time. This is a decent chunk off the expensive prix fixe.

This is an A class place. I’ve been here a few times, but most recently for my dad’s 56th Birthday. It was his first time here & I thought it would be good to take him to a place like this because he enjoys food & boy did he enjoy this. First of all, the cheese bread that they give you on the table when you first get there is even delicious & you can full up on that alone. Then the salad bar is very good. They have shrimp, mozzarella, different dressings etc. I was the only one at the table that went to the salad bar because they wanted to save their appetites for the real thing. I on the other hand am not that much of a crazed meat fan so I wasn’t worried about getting full off of the salad bar. The real fun started when they bring around the different meat selections. I had the chicken & prime rib & that was good enough for me. Excellent. Everyone else at the table tried every meat they had which was good because you get your money’s worth when you try a little bit of everything. The food & service is exceptional. Dessert is very good, but not included in the price of the dinner so look out. I had the Chocolate Moose which was EXCELLENT& the cheese cake. Two very different desserts but I couldn’t help myself. This place is delicious & very good for people that really enjoy to eat. They get the most for their money.

Was really hoping to experience great New York red meat, but was very dissapointed. The salad bar was good. Nothing mind blowing, not on par with Fogo’s but still good. What i didn’t like was that once they took your 1st salad bar plate away, they took away all the salad forks, as if they didn’t want you going back. Weird. They did say it was all you can eat. Meat service started out very slow. 3 times around, it was just chicken leg and sausage. After a while, it picked up. For all the meats we didn’t want, like the dry pork. The duck was ok, the lamb too. The actual meats that you go to a churrascaria for, the sirloin roast and the picanha were so underwhelming and underseasoned, it almost made me weep. And no garlic beef? The whole roasted pork was almost a redeeming quality, but it came far late in the service. Also, the waiter pushing the dessert cart kept hitting me in the back and the back of my chair. you would think they would of designed the aisle or cart better, or at least trained the waiter to say excuse me. At no point did anyone ask if our meal was ok, or if they could bring out any kind of meat. Again very dissapointing. As for the people complaining about the price, its pretty normal for a good churrascaria, and one i don’t mind paying for when you have a great experience, but way overpriced for the quality of what was offered here. Would definitely not recommend.

$ 377 for 6 people? And that’s Riodizio only! Ok, I can really understand the price if the food was good but it really wasn’t worth that. Every piece of meat the servers brought over was either too dry or too salty. I actually preferred to eat from the salad bar instead. I definitely did not eat $ 60 worth of salad. But again, if the salad was exceptional, hell, I’d even pay $ 100 for it! I can’t stress how inedible the meat was in this place. For a steakhouse, I really expected much better. I would have given a 1-star but there were good things about the place. The restaurant is extremely clean and the atmosphere is comfortable. It gives a certain hint of elegance and you wouldn’t even think you were eating a buffet. The service was top notch! But then again, in that whole restaurant, we were only 1 of the 4 groups of patrons there. If service was bad, I would’ve thrown a fit. It’s highly unlikely I will come back here again. For $ 377+, I think I would rather go to a more premium steakhouse in NY. Not Peter Luger’s…bleh.

I was pretty excited about this one… I mean who doesn’t love non-stop meat for 2 – 3 hours, right? Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. We were immediately seated when our party arrived and the waiter explained the whole process of turning your coaster over to green when you want more meat and to red when you want to take a break. After the quick introductory, we then went over to the salad bar. I didn’t want to stock up here as I had tons and tons of meat coming my way. Everything I had from the salad bar was pretty good. We all then decided to turn our coaster over to green and the meat started flowing! The meat was hit or miss with me, with nothing really memorable. Sure, if you are a huge meat eater, you’ll love this place, but if you’re not, nothing here would really convert me. At the end of our meal we all shared a bunch of desserts and everything I had was tasty; again, tasty but not memorable. I wouldn’t be pressed to come back, especially for all that I would spend here.

Came for my boyfriend’s 26th birthday with the rest of his family. In the spirit of full disclosure, I should note that I’m not a huge meat eater, but really crave red meat a few times a year. The most important part of this review: there is a 30%-off coupon if you book your reservation through Savored(only for the Tribeca location– it’s worth it to travel here, the 1 subway drops you off 1 block away). When we’re talking about $ 60pp, 30% is a nice chunk off the bill. They did not do this automatically though, we had to remind them, so just follow up– for us, it ended up taking off probably well over $ 100. First, the salad bar is very nice and more upscale choices than what I’ve seen in the past. Pre-peeled shrimp, seafood risotto, etc. It also sits on top of water, which I did not notice until I left– look for it, it’s very beautiful. Meat itself was good and tender. The waiters came around A LOT, so for someone that enjoys constant, hot, heaping piles of MEAT on your plate. this is the way to go. Chicken, DUCK(I’ve never seen this at a brasserie before), turkey wrapped in bacon, turkey wrapped in zucchini, and 3908109 cuts of beef/steak, and pork. They also give sides– we had mashed potatoes, broccoli, fried polenta(skip it), fried bananas and ordered fries and onion rings on top of that. I did not eat dessert, but my boyfriend got the flan(just looked OK) and his brother got the crème brûlée which looked DIVINE. They have an entire dessert CART– I love those things. Overall– I don’t know exactly how much the meal was, but I probably wouldn’t go if I were paying the bill. There were VERYLARGE parties there, so they can accommodate big parties, which is a plus if you’re in the market for that kind of occasion. Service was good in the beginning, but no one to be found toward the end when we wanted the bill or wanted to pay the bill. Note: They have sparklers here if it’s your birthday! AWESOME, regular candles are so 1980s.

First thing I’d like to say is thank god for the Brazilians! Came here for dinner today and was blown away! We arrived and were promptly seated. The place was surprisingly empty but that did not bother me as the reviews on Unilocal dictated that this place was worth it. We all ordered from the dinner style rodizio… OFCOURSE! Before the meat arrived, we had some fun at the gourmet salad and appetizer bar. Everything that I possibly could have wanted and expected was available. Salad? Yes. Octopus? Yes sir. Shrimp? Check! After filling a plate of appetizers on my plate, the sides that we ordered started to arrive. Rice, mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and my ever favorite, sweet plantains! And faster than a speeding bullet, the waiters started coming around with the meats. Ohhhh, the beautiful, luscious, tender meats. It was a parade of meat and I couldn’t object! A carnivore’s paradise it was! One after the other, lamb after beef, pork after chicken, duck after fried cheese! It was as if I had completely lost the ability to say no! I felt like the Yes Man from that Jim Carrey movie! The food kept a coming, and I kept on eating. Finally, the sensational feast had to come to a close. My stomach told my brain that it would kick the crap out of me if I tested it any further, and with that it all ended in the blink of an eye. After the dessert cart rolled around, I entertained the notion, but I just couldn’t bring myself to have any. We thanked the gracious staff and went on our merry way. Did I mention I had a good time?

quality meat, not limited to red meat! In fact my personal favorite of the night was the grilled duck. Skin showed a little char, and was full of flavor. The meat itself was also very tasty, not as greasy as Peking duck, nor too dry as some«French» Bistros would present. The salad bar features a wide variety of apts– refreshing squid salad, sushis, grilled brussle sprouts– just to list my faves. For comfort hunters, you can just get stuffed over their mac&cheese! the Brazilian specialty drink was… interesting. It’s somewhere betwen a Mojito and a Rum reduction. Sangria was so disappointing. I had a sip and was overwhelmed by all the sugar… ew…

A few of us came here for dinner for one of our friend’s bachelor party. Restaurant was very classy. I’ve been to other Brazilian Steakhouses, and this was on par like the others. But it was more pricey. Make sure that you come here on an empty stomach. The way it works, you get to order unlimited amount of meat. They have all the typical meats that they serve at churrascarias. PSA– Desert is not included in the price of the meal.

If you plan on coming here, do whatever ritual you need to do prior to stuffing yourself at the most delicious buffet. Fast if you need to, prepare yourself, wear loose fitting clothing with disguised elastic waists, whatever you need to do. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really quite beautiful. Columns throughout, a waterfall, music… definitely a nice place to go. Okay but seriously, who cares about the atmosphere at this place… the focus is on the food. The buffet is delicious! There were dishes on the buffet that I could have eaten as an entrée. The salmon I had was perfectly done, several different types of salads that were quite addicting, cheese, and the sushi rolls were actually decent. If you’re unfamiliar with the churrascaria Brazilian buffet, you basically get a card where one side is red, the other is green. If it’s on the green side, you’re basically letting the servers know… Bring me meat! And what glorious meat it is! Duck, chicken, ribs, steak, bacon wrapped meat, all sliced off the serving pole. Some were better than others I will admit, but unfortunately I don’t remember all the different ones. You don’t have to try it if you don’t like it, and if you try something you don’t like… just don’t get any more of it. Here’s your goal: Stay on the green side as long as you can, and when you’re finally about to keel over from the meat sweats or meat coma or whatever you want to call it, flip your card to the red side to stop the onslaught.

QUALITYAYCEBRAZILIANBBQ, i compare this to Fogo de Chao in LA& Churrascaria Riodizio trumps Fogo by far(more in terms of meat)! i haven’t been to the original location, but the décor here is nice, a good place for a date! PLUS service is top notch! GREENCARDUPMEANSKEEPITCOMIN’, they bring the bounties of meat to your table on swords! most of the meat was very flavorful —my fav= THEBEEFRIBS, so juicy! —sirloin stead(picanha), prime rib, & flank were good too! —besides the salty chicken hearts, i wasn’t a huge fan of the poultry options, but at least they’re offered! REDCARDMEANSHOLDTHEMEAT! you also get sides of cheese balls, rice, brocolli, mash, yucca flour, & fried bananas for the table. NOTTOMENTIONTHEUNLIMITEDPASTA/SALAD BAR(& sushi for dinner) although it’s not amazing desserts weren’t included in our package, but they roll out a beautiful display to tempt you if you’ve still got the appetite!

I am Brazilian and have been eating rodizio since I was a little kid. I have tried them all, been to many different Churrascarias, in the US and Brazil, and this is the best rodizio you will ever eat! They have another restaurant on W 49th street, but this one is not as packed as the Midtown one. For those who have never eaten rodizio, rodizio is a style of restaurant service in Brazilian restaurants. You pay a fixed price(Drinks and desert are not included in the fixed price) and the waiters bring an offering of food to you several times throughout the meal, until you say you have had enough. In Churrascaria, the servers come to the table with knives and a skewer, on which are different kinds of meat(beef, pork, chicken, lamb, turkey). Waiters will give you a two sided coaster(Red means stop, Green means go). When your coaster is green side face up, they come serve you meat. When you flip it to the red side, you are saying that you are taking a break or that you are finished. The rodizio includes a salad bar. Their salad bar is amazing, and one of the best as far as being an addition to the rodizio. The salad bar is includes seafood, sushi, ceviche, cheeses, cold cuts, risottos, some Brazilian traditional dishes, and the traditional different types of salad offerings. When the waiters come around with meats, they shave you off a piece. You need to take the tongs that were allocated for your table and grab the meat, and then the waiter cuts through. The server will only stop when you tell them to. The meats that come around are absolutely amazing! Includes anything from: Filet Mignon chunks wrapped in bacon, Turkey chunks wrapped in bacon, Roast beef, Rump roast, Beef short ribs, Lamb, Pork ribs, Linguica(Brazilian sausage), Chicken hearts(a Brazilian delicacy), Grilled dark-meat chicken, prime rib, flank steak, skirt steak, rib-eye, top sirloin(picanha), zucchini-wrapped chicken. My favorite and probably every Brazilian’s favorite: the picanha(you will not be disappointed!) Also, they offer grilled pineapple with cinnamon at the end of the meal(meant as a palate cleanser between courses) The place is every elegant and on the nicer side. Jeans are acceptable — Just make sure you look presentable. There is a nice bar to the right serving anything from beers to mixed drinks. My favorite is the caipirinha(national Brazilian cocktail). I usually get the Strawberry caipirinha with sake, instead of cachaca(sugar cane rum). There is a grand piano and they usually have bossa nova on the weekends! The last time I went there the rodizio was about $ 65. The tab usually comes out to about $ 200 for two people. Remember, Drinks and desert are not included in the fixed price. They are a little pricey compared to the rodizio places in Newark, NJ but the quality is far better! This place is definitely a must try experience for any meat lover! You will not be disappointed!
