RIDICULOUS prices!!! My button came loose so I stopped in to get it re-sewn… The guy did it while I still had the shirt on, which was great– and then he charged me THREEDOLLARS!!! For 20 seconds of reattaching a button!!! I don’t pay that much to dry clean the entire shirt!!! If I was inclined to take my business there(they ARE polite and conveniently located), this episode just put the kabosh on that!!!

My experience here has always been that they are very polite. I have had somewhat mixed experiences with pants shortening because once the tailor wasn’t there so the pants weren’t marked by a pro, but overall very good and I would go there again.

I first came across Dorcester when I was new to the city and needed some more cleaners. I stopped in, asked them for a few, and they gave me a dozen, and a smile. Since then I’ve been back dozens of times. They are conscientious, remember me and greet me by name, and most important, I have come to totally trust them with all of our clothing and alterations. My wife and I have tried more than ten different cleaners, and I’ve never looked forward to going to one — or to picking our things up because of fears that they may have screwed something up — and it’s just a joy to go to Dorcester. They’re a little pricier than some of the other cleaners we’ve used, and they’re a shlep(they’re near my work, not our home), but the peace of mind and service are more than worth it.
