I just ordered delivery from Falafel on Broadway and was very impressed. The prices here are so good, I had to add hummus to my order to meet the delivery miniumum. I was glad I did, their hummus is very good and tasted SO fresh, like it was made that day in the store. I got the Kufta burger, which is two sticks of beef on a ciabatta with lettuce, onion, green peppers, BBQ sauce and mayo. The meat was delicious and seasoned well, but the two pieces were so tiny. I will probably get a sandwich with shredded meats next time. They also went crazy on the mayo and i had to wipe some of it off my burger. I also got the lentil soup, which was delicious. When I come back, I will probably try the falafel platter too because it looks great in the pictures! I also asked for pita bread on the side with my hummus, and they gave it to me free of charge! I was very pleased about that :)

Food Ordered: 6:46PM Food Delivered: 8:09PM Placed an order through Seamless. After my food was 15 minutes later then expected I called the business only to be hung up on TWICE! After 30 minutes of waiting I was finally able to get through to the restaurant. When I asked why my food was delivered 35MINUTESLATER then scheduled(so a full hour and a half waiting) I was told I was being difficult and was hung up on. The food arrived cold and the customer service of couldn’t have been worse. After this horrible experience(and others) I have warned everyone not to waste their time or money with this business. Side note: When you order pita know it will not be made fresh. Mine were delivered in the packaging they originally came in from the grocery store.

I ordered my food at 7pm 1 hour and 30 minutes later still nothing so I decided to call the restaurant the guy told me that it will arrive in 10 mn. 30mn later still nothing so I called back and ask to cancel the order the guy didn’t care and was rude to me. He didn’t apologize and told me to call grub hub to get my money back. They just don’t care about their customers.

I had the veggie falafel sandwich which was prepared fresh. I simply loved it. I don’t particularly like the ambience of this place, hence I generally order take-out. Overall, if taste is what matters, then the food here is amazing.

Mehhh! Mediocre at best. I got the lamb kabob and it was chewy. The actual inside of wrap was tasty. I will give another try.

The interior is a bit shady — literally and metaphorically — but the food is delicious and filling, and the service faultless. Overall, a solid choice for a casual lunch or dinner. Expect good food and service at reasonable prices.

The place is tiny. There are about 10 small tables. Food is good. We ordered babaganush(which was good), lamb kebab(lamb was ok, juicy enough but not the lamb that I usually eat), lentil soup was good but the most delicious thing was baklava with pistachios. Customer service is great because the café is very small. Our waiter was more than nice with us. We asked for bread, and he gave us 3 extra free pita breads. Also, tea was very good. They put mint inside, so we liked it. Overall, place is ok, Food is good. Customer service is excellent.

Great falafel! Friendly staff. When my art studio was in the area, this was a place I could count on for a fresh, fast lunch at a low price with SUPER friendly service. Very reliable and consistent. Best falafel I’ve had uptown. You can’t go wrong with any vegetarian options here.

This falafel is as good as it gets period. I have eaten at the best Falafel restaurants in East Jerusalem and this matches up exactly. The humas also is very good. You cannot go wrong with their Middle East platter which I have had 100 times with a side of the amazing homebaked Baklava.

I’ve ordered from here twice from seamless. I love their vegetarian lentil soup! That is definitely my favorite thing I’ve tried so far. Their falafel is great as well — I had it once just as the 8pc and then also in the mazzah appetizer platter. I’ve also tried the cheesy kufta burger which was pretty good, but I had that along with the falafel and lentil soup, so I was totally full and ate it the next day. Note to self and others: falafel and lentil soup is pretty much the most filling combination of foods there is. I had a piece of knafeh and it was alright. If these guys were closer to me I would be there every day most likely. Why aren’t there more middle eastern restaurants in Harlem?

In terms of delivery, it seems there’s room for improvement. The lebneh turned out to be plain yogurt with olive oil and paprika sprinkled on top. And the grape leaves were pretty stale. Gyro meat was good, but a really peculiar chipotle mayo was added to the sandwich.

All of the food is amazing, and the people that work there are super nice. Super homey neighborhood vibe. Convenient location near Columbia and near 125th1 stop. I haven’t been there in a bit so hopefully they still have it, but the baked lamb is my favorite. Falafel is some of the best I’ve had in the city. Oh and hookah!

Ordered delivery after arriving from a late flight from jfk and it was so freaking good. Hit the spot. We did the mixed grill plate and hummus. Good enough for two hungry peeps. Chicken was charred on the outside and super moist on the inside. We are recommending to our friends in the area for sure. Hummus was super super good.

The worse food ever. I have order mix kebab dish with steamed vegetables and hot wings and they gave me sautéed peas, carrots, onions and tomatoes and undercooked wings that taste like frozen rubber.

I can sum up the review in two words… stay away. I ordered a chicken gyro. They asked me if I wanted«white sauce», I replied yes I want tzatziki sauce. I got the gyro to go, when I got back to the office I notice the«white sauce» was really a beige pink color. Hmmm… I proceeded to take a bit. no flavor. The chicken was luke warm and flavorless. I won’t attempt to go back.

Good restaurant. decent sized portions and not too expensive. I had the lemon salmon which wasn’t exactly amazing, but it came with a nice potato pea salad. I would probably recommend coming here for lunch instead since you could get a cheap falafel in pita. Overall not bad but not worth coming out of your way for dinner.

Worst food ever. Brown lettuce, greasy wrap that was opened when delivered, the hummus had a layer of oil that caked the top, and the falafel was smaller than a quarter. Also, I asked for extra pita and they delivered it in the plastic bag that you get at a grocery store… expiration date and bar code on it. THEREWASGRAYHAIR(S!!)ONMYORDER. Just don’t do it.

I’d give this place a 3.5. I got a chicken gyro and it was fairly good, but parts of the chicken were dry. I’d probably give this item another shot anyway. I also grabbed some baklava to meet the $ 10 credit card minimum and it wasn’t bad, though I feel like it had a hint of lemon, which I haven’t tasted in other baklava I’ve tried.

My first reaction to walking in the door was that I was a little taken-back. I expected something larger. There were about 8 – 10 tables with two chairs at each and then the counter. It was fairly small. Their menu seemed fairly expansive despite their location size. They also have hookah available. No alcohol though. Their hookah(shisha) is actually one of the best that I’ve been to in the area! They had two flavors when I went there– apple and grape. I checked-in and got a 15% off $ 25.00 or more! The service was great. The waiter seemed to always be around and friendly. He gave us everything that we needed/asked for– nothing above expectation though. If you do not like the smell of hookah, do not go here after 8pm or so because people will be smoking and it will be fairly hard to breathe because of the size. They have the AC and fans on too. Heads up: They do not take American Express but everything else!

I’ve had much better Falafel. Go to Mamoun’s downtown by St. Mark’s for better Falafel or better yet– Go to Israel. I asked for hookah, which the server said was $ 25 but according to comments on here it’s only supposed to be $ 15 so they definitely tried to rip me off. Also the place itself is really small and the environment is Meh.

really the best Arab cuisine in Manhattan; decent good quality food with a big variation while prices are still cheap. Shisha is about 15 only and a good meal is between 8 to 12. They play Arab music which is not so loud so you can chat with your friends without the need to scream! Staff here are from Egypt, Palestine and Jordan and all are very nice. I like to come here often.

I had a strong craving for Lamb and I am, kinda slightly very, obsessed with gyros. Not too many options in my area but this can surely fit thé bill. Dont get me wrong, this isnt gourmet or thé type of place you bring some one you’d like to impress. But it will satisfy your craving. I ordered thé gyro platter, thé chicken gyro with Rice for kids and thé falafel with tahini. The falafel isnt thé greatest in terms of texture but it did have a décent flavor combo going on. The meats were flavorful and moist. Salad could have been fresher but thé fries were great. I’d return if in thé area or get delivery through seamless. Great amount of food for thé price.

I had a group of 10 teenagers in the city, and we had Falafel on Broadway delivered. The service was amazing. I called in, explained that I just wanted a good variety of dishes, gave them budget, and in 45 minutes we had a smörgåsbord of Middle Eastern deliciousness in front of us. The food was really great – I loved the okra in a tomato sauce, the hummus… actually, I don’t think there was anything I didn’t love. It was a hit with the kids, too. Both the person who took the order and the one who delivered our food were very friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend Falafel on Broadway!

Came here just for a quick carryout lunch — and pretty sure I got sick from here. I will say though, that before the sickness, this place was awesome. Affordable, tasty, fun. A lot of my friends have spent a lot of time here and they seem to love it. I had the falafel sandwich and it was delicious. I might have to try it one more time before ruling it out entirely.
