Legitimately the best plain froyo I’ve ever had or will ever have. Don’t try and be a hero with crazy toppings or flavors, just get a small plain with melba sauce and be on your way. You’re welcome.

So the price can get pretty ridiculous once you start adding toppings cuz depending on what you order it could either be $ 1 per topping or $ 2. I ended up getting just the small yogurt in a cup for $ 5.50(not including tax). It was $ 5.99 with tax. The lady in front of me bought 2 with toppings and her order came out to around $ 18. They give you a very generous about of yogurt. It is in fact not small at all but actually quite a large serving. Seriously so much that you’ll struggle to finish it. I felt so sick by the time I got near the bottom of the cup. My coworker had to throw his out cuz he couldn’t finish it either. In terms of the taste, I wasn’t too fond of the mango flavor. They let me try whichever flavors so I got to try mango, plain and coffee. Of the three, coffee was my favorite. It tasted just like coffee ice cream. The plain was a bit tangy as per usual at any yogurt place. The chocolate was quite good. However, after you scrape through the melting mountain of froyo, you realize that it’s extremely sweet. Too sweet. Not sure if I’d go back. Service was good but a little slow probably because they take good care of each customer. There are 2 lines. One for if you want to be seated and another line if you’re just taking it to go. You just go up to the counter if you’re ordering to go. The ladies working there was very friendly as well as helpful. They helped me decide what flavors to pick and when I couldn’t decide, she told me that she could swirl the flavors for me. They give you a punch card so after you buy a certain number of froyos, you get a free one. Personally, I probably will not go back there but it was an overall good experience. Maybe next time I would opt for the cone rather than cup since they give you less yogurt in that.

Best froyo EVER. Located inside Bloomingdale’s-both 59th Street and SoHo location. I recommend everyone who’s into froyo to try Forty Carrots. It’s phenomenal. I usually get the plain flavor with toppings, but I also love their banana and cake batter flavor. One serving is good to share for two people. That’s how generous they are with it. SO GOOD-favorite summer desert :)

Located on Bloomingdales’ 7th floor is the frozen yogurt New York is known for. I dined in for dinner on a Wednesday night. The place wasn’t very full, only a couple of tables were occupied. The fresh & clean interior reminded me of LYFE Kitchen, white walls with bright orange and light green trim. Marco seemed a bit rushed when taking our orders but obliged when asked to take a photo of our table. I ordered a chicken noodle soup and chicken Caesar salad. How did I not expect all the carrots in the soup. Normally I avoid chicken noodle with lots of carrots because it results in sweet instead of savory broth. Well, that’s exactly what happened. The pretzel bread was good to dip though. The soup itself had a sufficient amount of chicken. My chicken Caesar salad was exactly what I wanted: chilled crisp greens with grilled chicken, except tossed in a slightly more sour than creamy dressing. I ate all the croutons because I was so hungry. My parents enjoyed their grilled salmon with a dark green sauce. Avocado BLT sandwich was a hit because the bacon barely had any fat– lean protein. I decided to order yogurt at the counter instead of dining in because they only serve a small size($ 4 supplement/meal). I got a regular size and they really fill it up. It was $ 6 and each topping ranges from $ 1 – 2. Surprisingly, they put the toppings in the middle; yogurt is dispensed until almost full, toppings added, then topped off with more swirl. I got the low fat Peanut Butter flavor with mochi $ 1 and sliced almonds $ 2. After a while it got too creamy and indulgent. My sis didn’t like the chocolate, too dark like ganache. Maybe I should’ve tried original? Overall, a healthy bite to eat with famous yogurt.

This is the best frozen yogurt anywhere. And yes, I’ve been to pinkberry, red mango, 16 handles, and more frozen yogurt places than I can name but this trumps all of them. Forty carrots has been turning the same frozen yogurt for about 30 years — long before UES tweens discovered the magical soft frozen wonder. They’ve had the same recipe for that long and it is still unmatched. You can either get a yogurt to go or eat at one of the small tables nearby. Or, if the tables are full, sit on the steps in between the expensive bedsheets in Bloomingdale’s. That’s definitely not weird. I’ve tried them all and plain is still my favorite but get some samples and decide for yourself. You can also eat at the restaurant Forty Carrots and get a yogurt with your meal. The restaurant is cute inside and great for kids. Overall, the food is good but nothing special. And keep in mind, smaller versions of Forty Carrots are also in the Soho Bloomingdale’s and the Bloomingdale’s in Boca Raton, Florida and Aventura, Florida. It’s the same delicious frozen yogurt without all the fuss of this Bloomingdale’s. I’m sure they’re elsewhere too at a Bloomingdale’s near you!

The staff here is so nice and friendly. They all know me by name, are always accommodating to kids, always fresh salads. My go to especially when I’m hungry after shopping. I like the zorbas salad, or fourty carrots salad. They can substitute for any protein. I take egg salad. Their frozen yogurt is the best! Enjoy

If you love the noisiest environment on the planet, eat here. I was seated and the cacophony was so extreme I got up and left. I cannot comment on the food, the ambience was worse than Grand Central at rush hour.

I made a special effort to try an ice cream. My daughter behind me who was mad that I’m Unilocaling! I’m taking pictures while waiting for the customer ahead of me. The girl looked up and hollered at me that I’m not allowed to take pictures. With our tails between our legs we turned, embarrassed and left. Maybe I’ll try another day! I got pictures though!

Some of the best food in town… but, you are going to pay for it. I suggest the popovers and any wrap with fries, as the fries are amazing and the wraps are a decent size. Obviously, the frozen yogurt is good but honestly nothing special, and nothing compared to 16 handles. It can also get very crowded and cramped at peak times.

Sharing is caring =] A small size froyo is big enough for 2 people. Otherwise trying to finish one all by yourself will make you feel bloated and give you brain freeze. Unlike other places, the froyo is swirled perfectly to sustain many layers of froyo. No need to worry, the tower of froyo will not collapse! My favorite is blueberry. It’s not overly sweet nor too tart. The plain flavor tastes just like plain yogurt. Topping cost extra. Don’t forget to ask for the loyalty punch card. You get a free froyo after your 7th visit.

The yogurt here is creamy and delicious. My favorite flavor is peanut butter and vanilla is one of their rotating flavors that they have every so often that is also delicious. The small is huge so I wish they offered a kiddy cup size. Other than that, no complaints :)

One of my favorite parts about going to Bloomingdales especially after an unsuccessful shopping trip is going up to the 7th floor to forty carrots. It’s always packed so best bet is getting froyo to go but their salads are pretty good if you’re willing to sit down. The chocolate froyo is so good and the small size is huge! It’s also very expensive so you have to be willing to pay for it. I usually get rainbow sprinkles but today I decided to be healthy and get strawberries and was very unimpressed. They were mushy and sour tasting and I had to dump out the froyo. Guess I’m sticking to the rainbow sprinkles. Also side note when you sit down and order an entrée(chopped salad is really good) you get free pretzel bread and a small froyo for only $ 2 extra! I only give them 3 stars because the fruit was bad. Everything else gets 5 stars!

Always happy to go into Bloomingdales and walk out with my frozen yogurt(it’s the only thing I can afford & I’m happy with that!) This yogurt is non-comparable. The rich thickness and consistency is perfect. For 5 $ you get the largest portion for a(small!) I love the plain and sometimes I’ll add peanut butter to my swirl. Must try this frozen yogurt, you’ll get hooked and never go elsewhere. Warning: It’s addicting!

As far as I am concerned, you come to Forty Carrots for their famous frozen yogurt, not so much for the food. I have tried four flavors from Forty Carrots(low-fat Plain, Strawberry, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter), and my favorite has to be Peanut Butter — and this is coming from someone who doesn’t even like peanuts or peanut butter! This flavor was so creamy and rich without being too heavy, and the flavor did not taste artificial either. As I was eating the frozen yogurt, I had hard time believing that this creamy goodness was not ice cream high in fat. I also liked Plain — it’s not really«tart,» but more creamy, sweet yogurt flavor. The smallest size they have is Regular($ 5), and the portion size is huge. It’s probably enough for two people, but if you are like me and eat froyo as your meal, then the portion is perfect. I wish they had a «Kiddie» size for ~$ 3 for those wanting a lighter afternoon snack and doesn’t want to commit to eating 10 ounces of frozen yogurt at once. You don’t get any free toppings, and they charge up to $ 2 for fruit toppings… pretty expensive!

Two acceptable reason to eat froyo: ice cream is not available, and it’s an alternative to suffering through a department store experience. Two acceptable reasons to enter a department store, and ascend to floor 7: froyo is available and it’s 95 pre-heat index. Boasting 24 more carrots than its EVill competitor does Handles, this OG40 Carrots is in Bloomingdale’s flagship and has a dup Keeping with the theme, there are just 2 flavors at the SoHo one, but this bad boy offers more, plus Konery cones. Still find the lack of info other than the nested and and annoying, but $ 5.44 regular with coffee and peanut butter on a chocolate hazelnut cone isn’t a bad way to save a trip here.

Beware!!! The small is anything but that. Can’t imagine what a large looks like. The blueberry is delicious. A ton of flavor.

Dine in service is not up to par. The waitstaff is not very attentive and walks past tables often, even when the restaurant wasn’t busy. Food was average; I can get better food for half the price at panera. The yogurt is the bomb diggity though. I would come back just for the yogurt, but I’ll get it at the«to-go» counter instead of having to go through another sit down meal…

Also kaum zu glaubende 12,5% Mengenrabatt, en plus.
