I was saddened by the news that the Grand Central location was closed, and that was when I learned about the Harlem location. With the change in temperature, I felt it was time for a Fall jacket. I hurried over and found a jacket. Though it was ideal for rain, I wanted to buy it anyway, because it was the only one that fit my proportions. Being 6’0 with long arms and plus size is usually a recipe for disaster. In the past, I have always managed to find one coat that I can wear for the Fall and Winter seasons. This year proved to be no different. I walked over to the cash register and they couldn’t remove the sensor. As luck would have it, I picked up a jacket that originated from the Grand Central store which transferred over its merchandise and used a more archaic security tool. A woman, who I assume was a supervisor or manager, said she would try her best to remove the sensor. So I walked away empty-handed but left my name and number just in case. Within an hour, I was called but had already returned to Brooklyn but I did pick up the jacket the next day. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I’m considering checking out the work clothes, but not exactly looking forward to the 45 – 60 minute commute roundtrip.

There are not too many places to buy dress clothes for men anymore at a reasonable price. K&G is the exception. Nice selections(especially for Big Men my size), reasonable prices and a taylor on premises. The only negative about this store is how long check out takes even if there is only one person ahead of you. That aside, it’s a great store.
