Now CLOSED. Not surprised. Pizza was very boring and below average.

I’m not sure you could pay me to eat here. This pizza is nasty from the pizza to the chicken roll, it even looks disgusting. The chicken roll I had was about as bland as physically possible. A frozen DiGiornio pizza looks more appetizing than this.

Meeehhh– honestly, there are some dollar pizza places that’ll taste better than this. From what I can tell, they don’t care too much about quality and taste. They have a steady stream of customers since they’re next door to Baruch so people are gonna go here out of convenience. Things to be wary of here. Depending on when you go, you can get a slice of pizza that’s been sitting there for what looks like hours. Best to go when it’s busy. Service is quick. The pizza’s not terrible I guess. Way too cheesy and the sauce is pretty generic. Go here if you have to. Otherwise, walk to one of the better pizzerias in the area.

It’s your normal pizza and calzone. Nothing special about it. Convenient to Baruch, which makes it better when you don’t have much time to kill in between classes. Plus service here is quick too making it better for a quick lunch.

It’s not bad, but there’s really nothing special about their pizza. It’s convenient for Baruch students because it’s literally down the block. I paid $ 2.50 for a regular cheese slice, though I really wanted to get one with mushrooms. They weren’t very clear with the prices of the food. Perhaps they should consider giving a student discount.

I used to love going to this place for lunch with my sister who works in the area. They make an awesome pizza with ricotta cheese and ground beef. It features plenty of both ingredients and it’s absolutely delicious. My second favorite is the spinach and ricotta. And their sicilian pizza is also pretty good. Pros: We can always find seating which is nice. The pizza is pretty good and the service is fast. Cons: Note that there are no prices on the slices(and they run at $ 4+.) You often have to ask for condiments(garlic, spices, parmesan cheese.) I’d give the place 4 stars… But lately, every time I’ve gone there, they didn’t have my 2 favorite types of pizza. And that’s a disappointment.

no, no, no. just keep going. the pizza is very subpar, the salads, while large portioned are nothing to write home about. also, the pizza prices are not posted. funny, there were some regulars who came in when we were there during lunch hour, besides that, the place was empty. that should have been our first sign to find something else…

This place has decent pizza. The prices aren’t fantastic, but they’re pretty comparable to similar establishments, and the staff is friendly, which is a bonus. The actual place is a little icky looking, so grab takeout if you live nearby. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here. Edited to add: this place is sort of overpriced. You can definitely get a better value elsewhere.

Another average pizza place in this area. They stay in business because they’re close to Baruch, but I wish the pizza was better. The only thing they have going for them is that they have several tables for customers to relax at. On a really rough day at the office I might take a late lunch & eat here, but honestly, I’d rather walk further for a better slice.

Your standard NY slice. Nothing special here. Not bad, not great. This review is purely based on pizza. You could do worse, decent option if you are in the mood for pizza and need something quick. The dough has a nice crisp, but no burn spots on the bottom. Toppings are average-ish.

Pastafina is better than Mike Due, good for a quick slice if you you’re a Baruch Student.

Ordered delivery with a few friends. Friend A liked the Sicilian slice and regular mushroom slice. The crust was chewy and sauce had a little sweetness. I split and eggplant parm hero with Friend B. it was tasteless and soggy. Won’t order that again. Also, the guy taking the orders is gruff. The delivery man was very nice. I might walk in for a slice but that’s about it.

Specialty slices are definitely worth it. I’ve had their chicken with broccoli as well as buffalo chicken slices before and honestly I have never underestimated my food so much before. Just one of either would have been filling. Of course this is no dollar slice, but the price was fair for what you get. On another occasion, I ordered a sausage roll and it was a rather nice surprise. They give you marinara sauce to go with it and it just tasted great. Although I was left wanting a little more by the end, it was still probably a good portion size. Granted, I haven’t had many sausage rolls before, but this was a good first start. Will return here for lunch.

One of my favorite thing about pizza places are the garlic rolls. I love them in all their garlicy goodness. I was disappointed to find that Mike Due makes their garlic rolls out of Pilsbury dough — true story!!! Who does that?! Not a real pizza place IMO. It might be decent if you’re wasted and it’s late and you’ve frequented the bars that are close to this joint — I’ll cut you some slack if this is the case. But generally, I stay away from here. The first time was the last and only time I’ve been. The pizza is nothing special. Walk a little further to Frank’s on 23rd and Lex, their pizza is better!

I had pizza for lunch from here the other day… with Bambino’s already out of business after only a couple of months, and Ray’s looking like it’s shut down for the summer(or for good?), there weren’t really any other good choices for grabbing street pizza. We ended up with mushroom pizza, which was edible but not memorable by any means. The crust was a little too soft for my liking, and there was too much cheese on the pizza… definitely not enough tomato sauce. It’s passable, but if I had a choice between getting pizza from there and sitting it out because there’s nothing else nearby, I would probably choose not to eat instead. Either that, or step up and get a pie from Vezzo instead.

Every August until the following May, I follow Manchester United, spending most weekends consuming and singing at Nevada Smith’s on 3rd between 11th and 12th. Every September through the end of the year, I follow Penn State Football, spending most weekends consuming and consuming at Tonic East on 29th and 3rd. On the best of weekends when college football and english football interact, I can leave Nevada’s and walk up the 17 blocks to Tonic for PSU football without missing any of either. But there’s one key situation that needs to be resolved. Manchester United is all about wearing red. Penn State is all about wearing blue. I need a place to change between games, and it’s probably a good idea to get something to eat when my plans include spending about 5 hours of an afternoon in a bar. This unnecessarily long intro is where Mike Due comes in. The pizza is solid but not really memorable, and it’s a place where I can change from my United gear to my PSU jersey when switching from soccer hooligan mode to college football hooligan mode. If that’s not the definition of A-OK, I don’t know what is.

I come here all the time for lunch breaks. Slices arent hot, or too burned, 2.50 a slice. Slices are thin but they are big, has a lot of seating. They dont have garlic knots but garlic rolls Always a favorite

I was slaving away in front of the stove, sweat running down my back, smoke distracting my work, and he was late. But so was I. The door opened and slammed rapidly. I heard the coat softly land on the floor, the 9 – 5 shoes click click closer, and the deep sigh of disappointment. Without looking up, barefoot and pregnant, I waved my wooden ladle in the air as a cigarette dangled down from my lip. «If you don’t like this then freekin’ go downstairs and freekin’ get some goddamn pizza at Mike’s!» This isn’t true. At all. But my boyfriend does swear by these slices and calls it his place. So 2.5 contentment stars from me.
