Went there for happy hour with some coworkers/friends. There’s a good selection of drinks off of the happy hour menu. Service was great — they were attentive throughout and they immediately turned up the air conditioning when I told them that we were all really hot. Didn’t try the food here since we were on the way to a dinner elsewhere. Would come back if I need to get happy hour again in the area.

Slowest service ever! Took 45 hours to get our breakfast! And we were the only ones in the place. Server come over once in awhile– and then charged us for a meat sub e didn’t even get!

Redcork is nothing special, but I have no complaints. I had a glass of Malbec for $ 14, and it was tasty, but I I don’t know anything about wine, so that means nothing. I was jealous of my date who wisely ordered a mojito, which turned out to be delicious. Fun-hating folks may complain it was too sweet. But I love me some sugar. We got the bar snack, which consisted of pineapple and some nuts aesthetically arranged in a pretentious platter… Would not recommend.

I just want to say best experience drinking the Sangria. The taste was amazing. This Place is near the Hudson hotel and I just found it passing by 10 times, I finally went in because it was Happy Hour and after the Sangria I was so happy. This is a must try when visiting NYC.

Eeeww… had the Red Cork Club sandwich and the Truffle Mac & Cheese. Sent the club back because the chicken breast was nearly raw(the crunchy kind of raw chicken). Waiter still charged me for the sandwich. I brought up the rawness to the waiter, and he gave me a «discount» on it. On a slightly better note, the Mac & Cheese had real potential, but at the end of the day, Truffle Oil only subtracts from what should be a standard. Decent wine pours(they do the micro-carafe thing), but I won’t be back.

This place has evolved into a very quiet fun little place. Food is amazing and you can order from next door Sushi Damo. Same owner but different kitchen. Staff is very friendly and good drinks.

We needed a place near Columbus Circle for a quick drink with friends. The bartenders are friendly. The happy hour special was reasonable. My husband and his friend were thrilled that Redcork carried their Scotch and gave a generous pour. Redcork is a nice place for hanging out if you’re in the area.

I went on a first date here with my now boyfriend, as we stumbled across this restaurant when the place we were supposed to originally meet at was closed for a private event. Needless to say we have fond memories of a four hour dinner and the waiters never tried to kick us out. We happened to be nearby last night and went back to commemorate our first night. Much to our surprise the table we sat at before was available, so we laughed and reminisced over a lovely sushi dinner. It’s not typically a place either one of us would have chosen, but it was where we ended up and we have since fallen in love with each other and the restaurant is filled with good memories. The sushi is excellent and the service is top notch. It will always be a sentimental favorite that I look forward to going back to.

Spontaneously found this place on Unilocal!Chill, good service and very attentive to your needs. Drank some wine and had some apps. They even gave a free shot just cause we’re cool like that.

Super cute place in a busy over crowded area. I was wasting time before an appointment. I know sushi damo which I don’t like, way over priced, but then next door was a new place I never saw before. So I went to investigate sat at the bar. Super small but homey and industrial. The server was a short Spanish man who was very nice and very helpful. The food was great and cheap for the area. The hamburger quesadilla was sooo good. I was very pleased. A special nook to escape the Columbus circle chaos

What a surprise I had when I found this very nice spot that has become a lunchtime favorite of mine. I only found out recently this wine bar has a solid lunch menu. Salads, sandwiches and burgers are all solid choices. Service is solid and the prices are very reasonable for the area. Their soups are outstanding and a great way to start any lunch at Redcork.

I stayed at the 6 Columbus hotel next-door which I do not recommend. I highly recommend this restaurant though! I left the hotel and it was a couple of doors down so I randomly stopped in for breakfast. So glad I did! The eggs Benedict was fabulous. The English muffin had a slight crunch and the ham and poached egg were perfect with a nice tangy Hollandaise sauce. It came with roasted potatoes and a small spinach salad. The staff was super friendly and anticipated my needs. When I admired the snow they offered to take a picture of me and it outside. The place is small but nicely decorated and cozy. I was very surprised at the reasonable price of the breakfast for New York — only $ 12 for the eggs Benedict! I would definitely go back there again.

Stopped here for a coffee and stayed for breakfast. For an espresso bar, the coffee was horrible. Nice La Creuset cups tho… The décor is nice but service was just poor. Lots of apologies when a mistake was made by the lady at the counter. The server, who had a total of two tables, was out of his depth. Ordered two eggs, toast and home fries. Got the eggs and a side of greens. When I asked again for the potatoes they were clearly from a bag. Boo

Quaint, clean, and delicious food. Had the chicken sliders and I plan to return for round two with these crispy little devils. Rest of the menu looked superb, especially with wine. I’m doing what I hate about so many Unilocalers… I’m deducting a star due to price. If you complain about prices you should probably stay home and eat a PB& J. BUT, the wine was steep for the quality. Del Frisco prices in a not Del Frisco establishment and not Del Frisco wine list. I’m so mad at myself for saying that.

This wine bar shares the same kitchen as Damo Sushi. Service is attentive, except for the lady with the headsets that keeps watch to turn tables around. Ordered a few apptz and the food was tasty. Drinks were solid.

Very nice décor and very attentive staff. Not overcrowded which is a nice break for the area. Had two glasses of wine during the happy hour wine special(Saturday 4 – 7) I will definitely go back.

Decent wine selection here. A few of the less common names were offered. The three cheese sampler came with honey, crostini, diced apple, and grapes. Could have used a few more pieces of the crostini. I had a Brie, a Gouda, and a Cheddar. The beef sliders came with fresh chips. 3 sliders in all. Overall a pretty good spot for a quick bite.

This was one of three options given to us by the hotel staff. It’s a smaller, modern and above all clean place that is just opposite of the Time Warner Center. I ordered the omelet and my GF the eggs Benedict, both dishes were good which is to say no better or worse than any other breakfast place. The food arrived quickly and the portions were large enough to where neither of us could finish our meals. When I got the bill I noticed that it was quite a bit higher than I expected — $ 42 for an omelet, a Benedict and 2 cups of tea. As it turns out, water must be an expensive commodity in NYC why else would they charge $ 7 for a cup of tea, not a bowl a cup. . The second thing was that the restaurant decided that the service was so good that it added a 20% tip to the tab, but conveniently left a blank area for me to tip again, I normally always tip at least 20% but if I hadn’t added up the tab in my head I would have ended up tipping 40%. Service was good but not that good. Food is decent and it was open on Christmas day, but do not presume to decide how much of a tip I am going to leave. Its called gratuity for a reason, so that I as the diner can decide how much the service was worth. But let’s suppose it’s just an oversight and that the reason is to accommodate the European guests that aren’t used to tipping and don’t realize that the service staff’s salary are predicated on these tips.
