I’ve been here on a few occasions. Pros: The music was good, drinks aren’t crazy expensive. Cons: the steps are very steep and high, there’s always a cover, the crowd is mostly older women and men. The men tend to be creepy. I’ve heard by different people that they’re drinks had been roofied while there.

Its a shame that I have to write this review because this used to be one of my favorite clubs. I did a $ 100 champagne bottle for my birthday on November 21st. This comes with a table and 5 free guests all night and everyone free before 12am. So I arrive with my guests and some people who I told to go in before 12am, as I had too many people originally. When I get there she tells me that I only have 3 guests left, even though there were people who already had been there. Come to find out it was really 2 guests because they counted me as one of the guests… now how the hell am I my own guest? So the guy at the cashier gave me a hard time and he’s all in my face very unprofessional yelling. Now at this point I realize I have had issues with this guy before so I stop talking to him and continue talking to the lady. After awhile my friends attempt to talk to him and he’s being rude to them as well, to the point where I have to get them away from him to avoid further arguing. Eventually she gets me in but at this point I’m beyond flustered. I ask to speak to the manager, she brings me to the promoter. Now the promoter and manager are not the same person so that was quite dumb. My suggestion is not to spend your special event here. The staff is rude and it comes to a point where they say one thing but have a million tricks and excuses when you get to the door. Mind you the deposit is non-refundable and my boyfriend asked if we should get another bottle, I wouldn’t let him knowing how they treated me, so had they had better service, this establishment could have been given an extra $ 300 to $ 500 that night but instead they chose to be rude, so screw them… I will never support them ever again!

Made reservations here for a friend’s birthday and it did not dissapoint! Got here around 1145 and my friend and our guests were escorted to our section promptly. Our group of 7 got in free which was awesome. Bottle of champagne was good, not bad for a 100 package. Music was def. on point 90s throwbacks and progressed into alot of reggae and soca props to the DJ. Oh and the view was everythingg. Oh and all these reviews knocking the dress code umm theres a dress code for a reason so come dressed accordingly if u want to get in. Thank u for making me and my friends b day one to remember.

Crowded, but great music if you are into reggae and soca(which is a huge plus for me) I docked two stars because I came here for my birthday and my guests still had to pay despite me making a reservation and them telling me it was free before 12. Overall great club and Dj

It’s a decent place, ladies heels are not required. I’ve come a few times and the dj doesn’t play his best stuff til late… like 1 am ish. I’ve gone three times to date and honestly the DJ played the same songs… literally nothing new each mix that I noticed. Wasn’t a big fan of that. I never bought a drink because I pregame, but I can attest to the BS from the lady that collects money she is rude and very unfriendly can’t and won’t smile, plus when I gave her the code to get in free she said no that’s wrong. Low and behold I pay 20 to get upstairs before 12 to find out my male friends got in reduced but I did not?! I was pissed and when we came back for my money she wouldn’t give it back. Sighhh I’m not a fan of this place…

NEVERWILL I GOTOTHISPLACEAGAIN. NEVER.(don’t go here if you don’t have to, your not missing a damn thing) Went for a friends 30th Celebration(age range of guests were 22 – 30) on Sat night, during labor day weekend 2014. I’ll list the BULLSHIT we experienced at «ROOFTOP760» 1. Dress Code — We were told«Dress Code/Minimum Age» –21+ with valid id, no exceptions — Gents: Button Up Shirts + Shoes strongly preferred — Jeans ok –Sneakers allowed must be worn with button up shirt and will be allowed at doormans discretion — Ladies: Fashionable, Classy, and Sexy My friend and I arrived 11:28p(before 12am is $ 10 after is $ 20) Line was short enough that we’d be in before 12a. I was wearing your typical party dress with heels and my friend was wearing a clean white button up dress shirt, and white sneaker like shoes(nothing with nike or jordan or adidas). The Bouncer/doorman immediately singles out my friend saying sorry no sneakers, we showed him the above guidelines and he still insisted no. We stepped out line to decide what should be done. Thats when we noticed 6 other couples behind us had guys wearing sneakers(converses, nikes, a few jordans) So i was like wow ok looks like most of this line isnt getting in then. We called the bday person to explain the dilemma, when the BOUNCERDOORMAN pulls my freind aside to say«Hey I’ll do you a favor and say your my cousin and let you in». I was still skeptical because was he(BOUNCER/DOORMAN) going to claim everyone else on line as his«cousin». I told my friend wait lets see what he does with the others. BOUNCER/DOORMAN pulls my friend aside again and says«dont worry i got you, if you got me» BOUNCER/DOORMAN wanted my friend to give him an additional $ 20 on top of the $ 10 cover charge for«letting him in with sneakers» –____– I protested but my friend unfortunately paid him because it was one our DEARFRIENDSBIRTHDAY(you know that friend that is ultra kind and supportive always there super nice, the one you just cant miss) Then when we get to the ticket stand where you have to pay the cover another guy was making a fuss about how my friend was dressed, but the ticket person brushed him off and let us in. FINALLYINSIDE and what do we see, about 20 of BOUNCER/DOORMANS«cousins» THISMANRIPPED A LOTOFPEOPLEOFF. I WASPISSED, HEKNEWHEWASGOINGTOLETTHEMIN, JUSTWANTEDEXTRAONTHESIDE. HOWDAREHE take advantage of people there trying to enjoying themselves and celebrate. If BOUNCER/DOORMAN was feeling underpaid then take it up with who employs you, instead of preying on the wallets of party-goers. 2. Venue Area ITISNOT A ROOFTOP. Its the second floor with full wall and ceiling windows, no access to the outside air. The dance floor is bare and small. As for lighting there was ONE stage light that spun around(lame). The blue window framing that seems to attract unsuspecting victims is nice to this place isn’t all its cracked up to be, just a circle of blue led lights set somewhere by one of the window framing and so happens to reflect off giving the all over blue effect(nothing spectacular). There is seating by the windows, better is your with a group then you guys wont lose your seats, it is also AIRCONDITIONED in that area only. The DANCEFLOOR(no air conditioning) was a SWEATBOX. Everyone was drenched, rubbing up soaked sweaty bodies against each other isn’t that appealing at all(not club dancing sweaty, football workout sweaty). 3. Bar Overpriced and watery… my fav. 4. Music Decent, reggae and hip hop(you could move your body, some type of way to what was played, but i cant guarantee you’ll be «dancing») **Overall, from the bouncer stunt we should have turned back and took our friend out another time.

The only reason I went to this club was the suggestion of my male friend that we could get in free before 12am. We were with our ladies and told they would get in for free. After waiting on a long line and getting in before 12am we still had to pay $ 20 each were were reluctant on, and the staff said ladies were free since our girls went ahead of us. Turns out our ladies both paid $ 20 each as well. The staff lied to us to our faces just so they could make a buck. It wasn’t worth $ 20 let alone $ 80 we paid just to have a dj cut songs, and people crossing into you /bumping you all night. Plus, the security by the tellers is a real jerk with plenty of attitude to pressure sell you to leave — get off the line and go down a long staircase or pay to go in. He needs to be thrown down a pair of stairs. Never going back there again. Such crooks!

I am trying to find a place to go for my birthday with like 15 of my friends and I know my boyfriend attended for his birthday last year and he loved it. I haven’t even gotten a chance to even see what the place is about and I was reconsidering going because of such bad customer service and poor communication. I’d call to ask questions and they’d hang up or just not answer. They didn’t seem to know anything about anything(I had free before midnight rsvp and they did’t know anything about that). I ended up going anyway and I had a blast. I guess this is one of those don’t judge a book by its cover. The inside was beautiful and spacious. The entire place was a rooftop because the ceiling would open. The RSVP worked. even though it was after midnight. Amazing. I was drunk. had a good time. I’d recommend it.

I booked a table with bottle service for my birthday. The guy I booked with was pretty nice. Got my confirmation right away. When I arrived, I thought I would be seated right away since I would be entering through the VIP line, but was told by the bouncers I had to wait for the promoter to physically come downstairs to get me(wtf?) and that took like 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the regular line is moving lightning fast. After I was finally let in, I was seated at the tiniest little table despite the fact I said I was expecting 15 – 20 people(5 of whom were already with me and BARELY fit at the table). Aside from those shenanigans, it was a fun night. I don’t see myself going here again.

Went here last Saturday and everyone was free before midnight with a password that was easy to obtain once you rsvp. The space was big enough and the music was on point! A mix of Jamaican music with R&B and the latest hip hop and other Caribbean hits. The dance floor is relatively large. Can’t wait to return when the rooftop is open in warmer weather!

I wouldn’t say the crowd was«mature» although there were people of age there. The men in there are not gentlemen(well this is NY, smh) anyway. The crowd in my opinion although the looked sexy they weren’t «grown.» I would say a majority of the crowd when I went was under 35. The crowd was mixed, though I did pinpoint a majority of them to be Caribbean people. The venue itself is beautiful, high roof, low seats, clean modern feel with low lit lights. The view from the glass windows/walls was pretty interesting. If you found yourself bored you could always find a scene outside. I think the woman at the door should at least try to act like she likes her job –_-. The drinks are good… well when I went I was at a VIP table with my girlfriends so… yes Greygoose is awesome. :) The male security staff were actually very nice, we didn’t experience any arrogance or hostility so no complaints in that department. The music was half reggae and half hip hop. By the end of the night half the club was drunk and people started getting aggressive. Security doesn’t hesitate to take care of those situations, which is good! Finding parking is hell. I wouldn’t return here on my own for a night scene, I find it a bit too«ghetto» for my liking. But I know I will be returning because my friends like the spot. –_– Hopefully my future experiences will be a bit more pleasant.

I came here for an event. The venue is nice & spacious. The view from the ginormous windows was absolutely breathtaking. Manhattan is gorgeous especially at night. I felt like a tourist although I’ve been living in NY for 23 years. For a venue located in the city the security is not the greatest. Not that my life was ever threatened nor did I feel something might«pop off» but just in case it may have there would’ve been some stitches that could’ve been avoided. Security doesn’t thoroughly check each person. The female security guard that checked me was mute. I’m pretty sure of it. She motioned to me while using hand language what she expected me to do. I was puzzled at first. Was she that lazy she couldn’t ask what she needed from me? I’m sure her behavior is not proper protocol. If you can’t be bothered neither can I. I’m a real stickler for people who deal with the public in such a capacity that they feel they’re above speaking, being polite or carrying out the task of their job title. I pregamed prior to coming here. I’m glad I did because the prices are steep here. Lawd Fadda I pray for your forgiveness because I didn’t tip the bartender for my drink & that poor attitude of hers. $ 15 for a Long Island. Fifteen dollars for a 6 oz cup. I know what some of y’all are thinking, «Well it’s Manhattan, what were you expecting Brie?» Umm, definitely not that! Here’s my mathematical breakdown of what I believe is a fair price for a Long Island. $ 10 — $ 12 is a sufficient amount to charge patrons. $ 10 = $ 2 tip or $ 12 = $ 1 to $ 2 tip. You see where I’m going with this? No, ok so let’s say I did tip the bartender. That would’ve been $ 17 for a drink that wasn’t made to my liking & placed in a cup that you usually receive at a Summer BBQ that runs out of food early. I digress. I enjoyed myself but… those drink prices are outrageous!

I came here on Saturday October 4th to celebrate a birthday. The woman handling the cash was a complete imbecile. Who in their right mind carries $ 400+ cash??? To purchase a section. Especially surrounded by the thugs they let in. She kept demanding we pay cash and even though my group was cordial she requested back up LOL the people behind us said it looked like she belonged to an insane asylum with her voice projecting and her hand movements all while talking to people who were calm and not riled up. Luckily I knew the contact info for someone in the club and they said we could pay with a card. Even so the woman at the cash wrap denied it and argued with my group. Thankfully Neil(I believe he works here) came down and got us and we purchased our section! no thanks to the nutcase of a woman handling the cash. The music was great. The music and view from the venue is the only plus.

Firstly, am I the only one who felt the floor moving??? Secondly, we were supposed to be on some list for my sis birthday… ended up having to pay! Thirdly, those stairs are not conducive to me stumbling out of there after one too many drinks in my system. Why’d they get three stars? The vibe was good, the music was good, the drinks were strong. That’s all.

I made a reservation for the guest list last night. My friends and I travelled from Connecticut. When we got there, Rooftop was closed! We were informed by the bouncer at Copacabana that Rooftop was closed for the night because they weren’t expecting a big turn out on July 4th. Okay, that’s fine, but why wasn’t I informed this when I made the guest list RSVP? There was no indication anywhere that the spot was going to be closed. Not even on the door! It was highly inconvenient because I drove an hour to get to Rooftop, and my friends and I had to change our plans.

We decided to come here on a last minute decision to celebrate my sisters birthday. We were in route to the place and filled out guest list for about 10 people. The ladies entered free before 12 – 12:30 and the guys entered with reduced rate this night the charge was 10 bucks. Yeah you have to hike three flights of stairs but hey it’s a rooftop venue what do you expect. Bartenders were attentive and made my Long Island iced tea hella strong I was gone after one. Music was hitting the group I was with started dancing as soon as we hit the door. There were multiple celebrities the building that night and as we were taking a group pic we got photo bombed by Craig Robinson which was pretty cool he even got my sister a couple rounds for her birthday. I will def be returning to the establishment after a week my sister is still thanking me for a wonderful birthday outing.
