I rarely write reviews but I had a terrible experience with this place. I have been placing the same order from this place for years. For the last several orders they have decided to stop following the special instructions on orders and I have noticed the food has gone a little downhill. The last time this happened I called to complain that they didn’t follow the special instructions. Never have a dealt with a more dismissive, sarcastic, frustrating manager. Rather than correct the problem, he first placed my wife on hold to look for her ticket for ten minutes. Then came back on the phone and asked her to continue to hold. 20 minutes later he hung up on her. When we called back he insisted our order was correct, when it was not, refused to send out the correct order and even refused to apologize for keeping us on hold and wasting what wound up to be over an hour by the time the whole ordeal was done. They lost a loyal customer. Never will I order from this place again. I wouldn’t waste your time either.

They rush you even when it’s slow and no one is behind you. For my first time I wanted to really look at my options since everything looks amazing. I ended up with a buffalo chicken slice and the square piece with a giant hunk of cheese on top. The cheese on that(ricotta?) was very very bland. Like water. But the crust was awesome. The pizza slice was great and a bit size but not enough to fill you. Get 2.

Don’t get me wrong: this place has amazing pizza! So much cheese!!! Really good!!! Place –as everything in NY– is small. Tables are small as well, so it’s not ideal to come with a big group of people to eat. Lines can be super long. 3 stars because the delivery service. They’re either too early or too late all the time. We ordered pizza for 12:00pm one day and the pizza arrived almost at 2:00pm. Some time after that, we ordered again, and the pizza arrived 30 minutes before our lunch time! Aaaaaah, seriously, what’s wrong with punctuality…

When I was in college, this was my go-to place for a quick lunch. It’s the city so their prices are pretty reasonable for a regular cheese/pepperoni slice. Usually packed around lunch time. Their garlic knots are also really good. Service is alright.

We order so much food for our office and I must say the food was pretty good not bad at all. my only problem was the time it took to come to my office about a 3 to 4 hour wait when we ordered it a week in advance. –

Ordered from here after a long day in the city. Based on the Unilocal reviews I was expecting a pretty good meal. The delivery took about 45 min which I thought wasn’t bad. My pizza roles were cold. The slice of pizza I ordered was missing literally the tip of the pizza and was ice cold. The garlic knots were black. Whom ever is bagging the Togo orders truly must hate their job. The Alfredo was just ok. It looks to me like this place could care less about the food they put out. Would not come back.

We occasionally order from them to the office. Great Sicilian slices and today the best meatball slice I ever had.(Well my first time having a «meatball» slice but definitely not going to be my last). I had no shame in devouring three slices back to back. Great job Rosellas.

Sorry Rosella’s, this is the 3RDTIME, I’ve ordered 3 pies for a Friday lunch at the office and have waited over an hour for delivery. Every time I call, I’m told the delivery person«already left» but somehow still have to wait. It’s now been 70 minutes and still no pizza and when I’m trying to call, the fax line picks up. As soon as I placed the order, the lady who took it said I’d get it in 45 minutes. I’m ordering elsewhere from now on. *EDIT* At exactly the hour and 45 minute mark, I just called and cancelled the order. After being told 30 minutes earlier when I finally reached someone that they had already left.

Was my potential first time eating from here as my colleagues and I decided to order pizza for a fun Friday lunch. Ordered before and were told our food would arrive maximum 45 minutes after our order was placed, 2 hours later, still no pizza, and just a bunch of angry hungry people as a result. Needless to say we will more than likely not order from this place again regardless of how good the pizza may be. P. S. we called the business asking for a status update on our order over an hour after the order was made and were lied to regarding the delivery.

I don’t really have a go-to spot for pizza, but Rosella’s comes pretty close. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for a quick bite, this is the place to be. There are usually seats available, but don’t bother coming in and ordering a large pizza to go, as you’ll be forced to wait 20 minutes or so since Rosella’s is often busy while shorthanded, but the guys there do what they can.

These guys need a lesson in operations management. Yes it’s an NFL Sunday so it’s busy, but nothing excuses 2+ hour wait for a single pizza and order of wings. Stop taking orders if you can’t deliver them in time. Or give the customer the option to cancel if the wait is long. It was bad enough that they would either not pick up the phone or when they did put me on hold for an eternity. When I called again at the 2 hour mark he tells me «we don’t have any wings»…what? He just told me 40 minutes ago they were preparing my order and the pizza was in the oven. Sounds like he just said that to get me off the phone. Eventually got my food 2 hours and 30 minutes after the order was made. Yep, you read right. I waited 150 minutes for a single pepperoni pizza… sigh…this is how a restaurant loses customers for life…

As a hungry college student, this place is not only convenient to get to and is affordable but most importantly it has delicious New York City styled Italian pizza. I’m a lover of «Meat Lover’s» styled pizza which I suggest giving a try besides the well done classic cheese pizza that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. They have a great to-go service and the place is ideal to bring a group of friends.

Ordered a side salad and a calzone. The side salad was amazing with roasted veggies that seemed to have a home made Italian feel. The calzone was baked to order, and ginormous! Most people were getting the pizza. You can definitely order the calzone and feed two people easy. Music was teenager loud, with café type seating, and a great view of a busy New York street. $ 12 for the calzone, salad, and a bottled H20.

Loooove their garlic knots! Chicken pizza is awesome. I also love the chicken Parmesan with pasta and on the hero. Not much seating in the restaurant. Sometimes the line can get long. Snapples are $ 2 but that seems to be the norm around here. For downtown their prices are reasonable. $ 3.50 for chicken slice. $ 6.50 for chicken parm hero. Chicken parm with pasta is pricey $ 10.50 but it’s a lot of food. Fed me and a friend before. Garlic knots 4 for $ 1. I haven’t tried anything else from here.

Local pizzeria in FiDi, has the most amazing slices of pizza for the best price. With so many different types of pizza, no wonder I keep coming back for more! My favorite is their Buffalo Chicken Pizza; great flavoring, great size. They really understand what the customers want. Another great item is the 4 Garlic Knots for $ 1 item! Such a great place. Great seating area, it is a very spacious locale.

I think of Rosellas as last pizza spot standing in the area with first Paisanos and then Lisas closing as rents in area drive out the privately owned places and make room for the Chipotles of the world. Rosellas is a popular spot amongst the construction workers in the area and the students of Pace nearby and crowds up at lunch time. They have many different kinds of slices and when I was there I saw Buffalo Chicken, Ceaser Chicken Salad, Bacon Ranch and White Truffle styles amongst others. I decided to go for one slice of more traditional Mushroom and on recommendation the sauteed Eggplant. Both square slices had a very nice almost cracker like crust. The Mushroom was good but like many people here have said the sauce is very sweet so my advice is a quick sprinkle of salt, crushed red pepper or garlic powder helps. The Eggplant was good, had a Caponata taste to it but they put a lot on and eventually I had to take a bit off as that sweet sauce gets a bit much. The place is clean and service is quick and they have free WiFi which gets them the other half star to make 4.

No Unilocal party would be complete without a warmup, and stop for food along the way. So out of the Fulton Street 2⁄3 I dial up the Unilocal app and it directs my compass to Rosella’s. Quick service, and a great slice of pizza. Ready!
