Got the smoked salmon in a croissant which was delicious and full of salmon and a yummy cappuccino with whipped cream and chocolate flakes on top. But even still, at these prices you are definitely paying for the location!

Hot chocolate here is okay…
On the other location on Madison Ave used to be made with real chocolate chips melted, I’m guessing they used just different quality here.
It was kind of light, diluted than the one I used to get on Madison.

I have ate here for work purposes so its never my expense but its VERY pricey (why I gave it 4 stars) but the sandwiches are awesome, ALWAYS fresh can never say I had a bad/​old sandwich. They are friendly but always rushed which I understand because its always busy in there. But good place and its DEF not $$ its $$$$ in my opinion.

Lovely European bar in the upper east side. Lots of European style sandwiches and a full coffee bar. You pay the prices for the location. It is pet of the Loews regency hotel.

Recently went into this location and had a terrible time trying to buy some pastries to go. The staff at this particular shop have no clue about customer service, no attentive manners, not even eye contact and let me not start about denying a shopping bag for all the pastries I bought. Usually a fan of the one at Madison and 78th street and after this experience, will definitely stick to that one only. Shameful since their products are quite nice but need to hire better level of employees to go along with the décor and prices.

I am guessing that it was right for me to get excited when the cashier asked me to pay $ 7.92 for a cup of latte to go. I mean, what would you expect for $ 7.92? Me? I expect fantastic! Now, let me tell you what I got — a cup of dishwater with half a smile. Really? You just can’t charge that much for the liquid that you call coffee. Only because I liked the design of the cup is why I’m giving 2 stars

You will not be disappointed randomly picking anything here. Very good coffee, simple and tasty convenience sandwiches, and a real upgrade on pastries you can get in most other places. They have outdoor sittings which I really like (well, not during NY’s winter time). Try the almond croissant, but most other choices are as good.

Stopped in here after a spin through the zoo with six small kids. Luckily, the outside table was available, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch.
I had the ham, cheese, artichoke, and roasted peppers on a focaccia, pressed. It was outstanding.
The salmon croissant looked fantastic, as did the salami.
I did have a bite of the egg salad which was also awesome.
Highly recommended.

My new favorite! All pastries and sandwiched are simply amazing. I wish they had chairs — was there for 40 minutes with a friend, so tiring to just be standing. It would be more pleasant to sit and enjoy my coffee. But, overall — yum!

Coffee was good as was the chocolate croissant. The regular croissant was neither buttery nor did it taste good. Completely different texture than the chocolate one. I am only writing this review because of the dichotomy when they should be the same. So look out for that one.
