Sad to hear that the location is closed. Hopefully they will reopen shortly. The owner took time to write me after my previous review about them being closed now I want to check it out even more. Keep us posted please.

Loved this place! We stumbled upon it while looking for some good nearby pizza. They combine common Mexican dishes with PIzza making some tasty and surprisingly good combinations. We had the Chilequiles Monster Pizza. Plenty of food for only $ 7 and delicious!

What a hidden gem! Okay so not really hidden, but the sign is so small you will definitely drive past it! Just look for the black circle and you’ll find it.

The flavors are so good at this place and there’s so many options your taste buds will be watering just looking at the menu.
Everyone is so nice here and helpful, felt like we were there friends which is cool because you don’t find that a lot!
We were the only ones in there on a Friday night and they were making a dessert so they let us try it for free! Yummmmm!
I wish they were open on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday because I want to eat here every night!

Last night they were closed, because they are closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for winter. Came back today and the smell is off the hook! I ordered a small pizza half cochinita pupil and chilaquiles. Also some potato wedges with paprika with lemon powder. The staff is super cool and friendly! Found my new spot! Just remember to bring change for the metered parking, but the meters do take credit cards.

We were on our Sunday walk and decided to stop in. They were really nice and explained their concept to us. I ordered the Cannibal potato and my hubby ordered wings. The wings were good but nothing to rave about, the meat fell off the bone, they were small and it’s nice they’re baked and not fried. My potato was really good. It had cochinita pibil which the guy said is tender pork with orange and spices. I liked the pickled onions on top. We will definitely go back.

From what I know, this is a small chain in Mexico owned and operated by a family. This newer shop is small but filled with family love and the aroma of good eats. The location is ideal and steps from the beach.
Here, they sell pepperoni pizza by the slice. They sell personal sized pizza and larger sizes. You can mix and match toppings or stick to their menu and split pizzas. The pizza types include chiliquiles and carnitas. The shopbis filled with some unique art work.
The Dough-​4 Stars!
I love the dough. It is both soft and chewy and tastes so good!

Cheesy and good. My favorite here.

This is something different and new and definately worth a try if you are in the area. Overall, I am a fan!

You don’t see 5 stars too often with that amount of reviews. Seriously just go there. The pizza and sides are incredibly well done. The staff is beyond friendly and considerate. Got the mac and cheese pizza and it was a joke how flavorful it was, without being over-​the-​top. Will be returning. If there were craft beers, I’d give it 6 stars. Place is pretty tiny, so if you have a HUGE group, maybe call first and make sure they can accommodate you.
*To management: Get a «Push» «Pull» sticker for the dang door! 3 separate times the sweet chef had to yell across the restaurant instructing new-​comers how to enter :)

First off, I went on a date night here solely because of its Unilocal review. I never thought Mexican food would do well with pizza let alone on it! However, I have to say it was amazing. We ordered a large and put chile relleno on one half and nachos on the other. At first I was a little bit nervous to eat it but I must say it was marvelous. Especially the nachos one. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. My only complaint is their crust was not great but considering the quality of the rest of their food was amazing!
If you’re ever in the Newport Beach area I highly recommend it.

My favorite spot to eat in Newport beach! They are very well know for their delicious pizzas with a mexican twist, however they have other pretty good options if you feel like eating something else. Their baked potato stuffed with chilaquiles or with chile relleno is SOOOO GOOD and HUUUGE, definitely a must!!!
Salads and aguas frescas are also super yummy, really fresh for a great day at the beach.
Im also in love with this place because the owners are extremely friendly and you can tell that they really care about their customers, the facilities are always spotless and they have great music. :)

The pizza was so delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive and the location is perfect.
We ordered 4 monster slices which was more than enough for two people. It was essentially 4 mini pizzas. We got chilaquiles pizza, nachos pizza, barbecue Mac and cheese pizza and the ranchero pizza and they were all fantastic. My personal favorite was the chilaquiles pizza. The best part is the pizza was super reasonably priced. I think the monster slices were under $ 7 each so it’s definitely a great value for the amount of food.
Great service and friendly staff. Right around the corner from the Newport pier. Walked right over to the beach after dinner.

The Best Pizza in Newport! Started off with Cheese & tomato Pinchitos and Miserable green salad, delcious. Muaah! You must try the Chile Relleno Pizza and the Tropical, the fresh Dough is thee best. Did I mention the owners are really cool people.

Been wanting to try this place forever. Best pizza I’VE EVER HAD! We got a small pizza ½ Ranchera and ½ carnitas.
Ranchera: beans, chorizo, tomato, onion, jalapeño, bacon & avocado.
Carnitas: carnitas, salsa Verde, onion & cilantro.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Wow. As good as advertised. Quality ingredients — everything house made — see pics if you want to see amazing cheese!

We also had the — forgot the name — the salad with avocado and it was great as well! PS their homemade salad dressings were both exquisite

Okay, so where are there even places that have 5 stars?! I couldnt believe it. We were recommended to go here while we were waiting for our bikes to get put together and am i glad we did! the pizza is amazing, simply put. we had half macaroni and half carnitas. so delicious. its cheesy and not greasy! how is that possible? The only downside is that it takes a while for the food to cook so i suggest calling in prior, but it was totally worth the wait. we will def have to be back to this place and will try a new flavor! the mac and cheese was awesome though i would have it again! And also there are not many tables there to eat at, maybe 3 at the most? Luckily we were able to get a table no problem though :-D

Wow, super cool pizza place. I would describe it as pizza fusion. They are creative with their toppings. Same with their salads (try the quinoa fruit salad) and drinks. This isn’t greasy pizza you fold to eat, this is fork and knife pizza. Very fun, and service was A++. Thanks for staying open late for us too!

So we were walking all around checking out the pizza spots and none of them caught our eye like this place and of course I had to check the Unilocal reviews and photos and the pizza looked amazing. So we walked in and the lady was so welcoming and sweet so we chose this place and wow it was amazing !!! We got wings and a small pizza and I’m not a pizza person and this pizza was so bomb definitely the new spot when we come to new port! And real friendly family owned and their story was so nice !

Excellent food! My family came in and we were welcomed so nicely! We all shared the Mac n cheese pizza which tasted as delicious as it sounds! We also all got a slice, which is a basically a personal pizza and shared with each other. This place has some amazing pizza combinations! The ranchero, carnitas, Tennessee BBQ, chilaquiles, and the cannibal all tasted DELICIOUS! If you haven’t been… You need to check it out!

It pains me to write this as I was super stoked to try this place out based on the other reviews. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.
The flavors on the split pizza that I had were great — bbq and carnitas. No complaints there. However, what the toppings were sitting on was an issue. Their crust is absurdly thick and dense. I am guessing it almost has to be this way to support the types of toppings and sauces they’re putting on, but unfortunately it made the pizza hard to eat for me.
It’s all about sauce/​toppings to bread ratio. Would you eat a McDonalds patty on a big pretzel bun? No. That is what this seemed like to me. Each bite would start out good but then I was left with chewing a big mouthful of crust with minimal flavor. In fact, while eating the leftovers the next day I actually ‘trimmed’ the crust to make it better.
All in all, the flavors were absolutely great and if there was a thinner crust option to improve the crust/​toppings ratio I’d probably enjoy it more. The employees were also very nice and helped with selections, but not enough to overcome that crust!

Every time I come here I try a different pizza! Never get disappointed! Real cheese, they make their dough and tomato sauce in house!
Today I had the Apolo pizza with chilorio, avocado and picked onion! Love the avocado on top of my pizza :)
The Agua Fesca are delicious as well ! They make it daily, today I had a banana lime yum yum!
On top of that customer service is excellent!
