Super clean and well stocked. Well lit and easy to navigate. The pharmacy staff is helpful and fast. Very nice experience.

Great service. Better to arrive outside of rush hour time to avoid long lines. The pharmacist is very attentive. The only open at 7:00am however.

I wish I had read the reviews about this pharmacy first, because they’re true. This location doesn’t seem to be very organized. Transferred my prescription from another pharmacy to this one on the rite aid website. Received a confirmation email saying it had gone through. Went to pick it up a few days later, they had no record of my prescription being transferred. Submitted it then in person and gave them my insurance card. Literally watched the lady spend a few minutes on the computer inputting my insurance info. Came back two days later to pick up the prescription, they didn’t have my insurance info on file. They then inputted it for a second time and I finally got my medicine. It took a week. With so many other pharmacies in existence, just go to a different one.

BEAUTIFULREMODEL. They just had the store totally redone and it turned out fabulous. They have a lot more items now, even groceries and wine. You can always find exactly what you need, but the new layout does take time to get used to. The only downsides to the store are that it does tend to be expensive and they never seem to have enough checkers. Another problem is that now that Fresh Brothers Pizza has moved 2 stores away, their delivery cars take up all the good parking spots. So parking in front of Rite Aid is now almost impossible.

The staff is really nice and the store has everything you could need, it’s just a bit pricey.

The last straw, this is my local pharmacy and they never have prescriptions ready when they say they will. It’s always«30 minutes», today it ended up being 5 hours after the Dr. called it in. Done with this place for good.

This place always has the longest lines. It is really low on staff at all times for the amount of people that frequent it. I feel like they really underperform on customer service. If it was not so conveniently located right by where I live, I honestly would not go there ever again. They really need to hire more people. I am tired of waiting in long lines.

Riteaid has been remodeling their stores over recent years and the latest victim is the store on San Miguel. Yes the store looks pretty. However anytime you replace floors, merchandise racks(gondolas), lighting and signage every store would look better. Again they’ve opted to remove the standard pass-thru conveyor register design & replace it with a walk up counter register. I would really like to see the numbers showing how that increases sales. In my opinion, if I can’t easily unload the shopping cart full of items because there simply just isn’t enough room then I won’t ever shop there for more than will fit in a hand carry basket. Just like I wouldn’t go to 7⁄11 or Circle K for more than I could carry in two hands I will no longer waste time browsing the whole store with a shopping cart while waiting for a prescription to be filled. It is obvious to me as a customer that you want me to purchase small amounts. Here is an actual example from what will be my last shopping cart experience at your store: My wife and I went to pick up a couple prescriptions and she wanted to get her flu shot. I had a list of three other items to purchase. I knew it would take awhile so I grabbed a shopping cart. By the time the pharmacy stuff was finished I had a full cart. In roughly 20 minutes I had selected $ 150 of merchandise. This much stuff would have required four of the hand carts. Trust me when I say I will never try to carry or drag four of your hand baskets. Furthermore I will never purchase more than will fit in a single basket. That roughly means this recent purchase would have been closer to $ 40. I will shop elsewhere to spend the other $ 100+. Of course I could be completely wrong and all my 30 years experience building commercial retail stores has taught me nothing about store traffic & product exposure and how it translates to larger quantity sales, impulse buys, etc. Oh yeah, before I forget, your corporate decision to stop selling leashes for eyeglasses or sunglasses in your stores located around a very active yacht harbor and near lots of beaches seems shortsighted. Between the kids who need them for sports & the thousands of us who frequent the water, having a reliable and easily accessible source would be one of those little items that gets buyers in the store.

Service is ok at the store but very difficult to get someone to answer the phone. I usually have to call multiple times to get someone to pick up even though I was told to call the pharmacy to see if my prescriptions were in. The one time I was able to teach them the guy was rude and abrupt.

This store doesn’t deserve one star. Please avoid this place. I had a supervisor accuse me of using copied coupons just because they beeped at the register. Without even looking at the coupons and the products themselves, she assumed I gave her copied coupons. It was extremely insulting to ask your paying customer if he/she is copied coupons, which by the way are illegal and a crime. I told her it was for the correct item, if you check and look at it. She said well, it’s black/white so it must be copied. I told her look at them, they have checked unique ID and barcode. Also, I told her it doesn’t matter if it’s in black/white or color, it’s for the correct item. Where does it say in Corporate Rite Aid coupon policy that it has to be color? I didn’t realize each store has its own policy. In the end, she entered it manually as a Favor to me, a one-time deal. Throughout the process, she had a condescending attitude like I was bothering her with my issue. Your store manager should train each employee to look and review the coupon before insulting the consumer. Instead, you have employees treating customers as thieves/criminal when all they are trying to save money for their family. No wonder why you are losing customer with bad customer service. I will never return to your store again.

The other reviews for this Rite Aid location are correct, avoid going to this place if possible. I go here from time to time because it is conveniently located near my work. If it wasn’t for that, I would go to my favorite Rite Aid store which is Bayside(review for this location to come soon). I am a frequent customer of Rite Aid and this location has probably the worst customer service cashiers. Don’t get me wrong, there are some like Linda that are awesome. However, I have had a few encounters with one of the cashiers named Malu. She knows I’m a frequent customer and a few days ago she said something to me that was offensive; to cover herself though from that comment, she threw in a «just joking». Another incident that happened recently with Malu is that she asking about my personal information, totally caught me off guard when she asked but the more I thought about it I thought in my mind«this is none of her business.» This store is currently going through a remodel, while it should also look into a «remodel» of their employees.

Do not go to this pharmacy unless there is absolutely no other option. We waited over an hour to pick up my wife’s medicine, and over 30 minutes after they said it was«ready»…

Tried(once again…) to deal with pharmacy. Called when they opened at 8:00am. Went through the whole phone thing of press this button then press that button 4TIMES because the wait to talk to a pharmacist each time was so long Rite Aid just kept dropping the call(also, please get rid of the 10 – 15 seconds of screaming loud music). I would have to call back and go through the whole thing again… PLEASERITEAIDCORPORATE — SUCHBADSERVICEFORSOLONGANDMANYPEOPLECOMPLAINING — HELPTHEMGETTHEIRACTTOGETHER!!! In the meantime, I’m off to another pharmacy — a longer drive but with better service.

I’m standing in the long line once again to pick up my prescription. By the way… they don’t have the full amount of the drug. I have to come back tomorrow to pick up the balance of the prescription. The last time they didn’t have it at all. Why am I here? The worst service ever!

This pharmacy is horrid! We dropped off a new Rx(at this time I requested a specific manufacturer and was told they had it) and refilled two others… we’re told it would be a 30 minute wait. We returned 55 minutes later and were told, «It’s almost done, label has been printed and it just needs a final approval. Pls wait a few minutes.» So we sat and waited. 10 mins pass and my Mom goes up to ask if the Rx was ready. They tell us «5 more minutes!» 10 more minutes pass and they call my name — but make us wait in the three person long line to help us. Finally — an hour and 25 mins after we gave them the Rx — we get to the counter to check out. The Rx we asked for a specific manufacturer on was NOT done correctly and was filled with another manufacturer! We point this out and say it was requested when I dropped off the Rx(As well as previously when a note was supposedly put in their system.) — we got a blank stare. He goes in the back to the pharmacist to relay the problem. He returns and says it will take awhile to fix, he’ll call us when it’s done! OK fine — I’m so ready to go home at this point especially being 2 weeks post op from major surgery. We get a call over 2 hours later to say it’s ready and ‘We’ve put a note in the computer for next time.’ My mom goes over there and THEYCANNOTFINDMYPRESCRIPTION!!! It took 10 minutes of searching by the staff, then the pharmacist steps in and they finally find it(15 mins after walking in — for the THIRD time, btw!). I won’t even go into the MANY other people not getting help while we were there… people dropping off their Rx 3 days prior and not having them ready when they show up, a new mom w a crying infant who was waiting the entire time we were there for trips one and two, etc, etc, etc! That was my family’s FINAL time at the pharmacy side of Rite Aid… what a joke of a pharmacy!(My patronage in the other areas of this Rite Aid have usually been good — friendly staff, clean store and they have a really great greeting card section.)

1 star for service, 3.5 stars for the store and parking. I’m shocked to read that someone received«the best service» from the pharmacy, because I think it’s pretty horrible. They are personable and pleasant, I would agree, but they seem incompetent. After many mishaps over the last 6 mos, today was the last straw, and I am now writing a review. My husband and I each spent over 30miutes there today and we still don’t have our prescription. Are they lying to us or just morons? Why say it will be ready at a certain time when it won’t be? Do you not know?! And we weren’t the only ones — long lines filled with other frustrated patrons each time. And it’s not much better at the front either — cash registers frequently have problems resulting in long waits there too. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I will from now on.

RUN!!! Find another, smaller service oriented pharmacy. They have gone the way of all the larger chains: no service, no knowledge of medications, no English, phone wait 10 minutes or more and store wait average 20 minutes. Service to doctors just as poor.

Like some of the other comments, it’s hard to get ice cream(just like most of the other Rite-Aid locations). I didn’t come here for the ice cream. But, I did see people waiting… anywho, I found what I needed in a jiffy… which was cough medicine.
