This is advance gardening if you want to create an awesome tropical garden. They have palm trees and Bromeliads that you will not be able to find usually from your typical big Home Depots ect. They also offer garden design if you are looking for more than just buying plants and trees.
When your driving to the location you will notice you are in a residential neighborhood. As you drive down the street thinking your lost, then you will notice a house in front with lots of tropical plants and Dypsis palms. Your at the right place! They usually are open on the weekends. Call first before you head out. Like anything rare, they are not cheap. If your looking for cheap go to Home Depot or Lowes for a Queen palm and impatients.

Great little property with tons of tropical plant life to look through. The owner knows his stuff, too — just get the guy talking and you’ll learn a lot about plant varieties, plant care, establishing a canopy and adding shade dwellers, on and on. Only went once and ended up not buying anything that trip, but I’ll be back again (for the advice if nothing else). It’s been a while, but I think he was telling me for a couple hundo he’d come to your house, evaluate the property (configuration, existing vegetation, soil type), then draft up a full landscape plan. Seems like a good deal to me…

I’m a fan of this place’s «tropical vibe.» It’s one of those «hidden gems» that you always hope to discover from your Unilocal endeavors.
In fact — its got all the criteria:
Independent — family run, non corporate place, involved owner.
Not a lot of advertising — mostly word of mouth.
High Quality –no compromises, specialty items not available elsewhere
Unique — not like other places (in this case — nurseries)
Honest, knowledgeable, and personal service.
You need to get familiar with the map on your GPS when you program in T. Vibe’s address. Finding it is part of the adventure! It’s located around a house, on a gravel road in the what looks like an unincorporated section in the middle of a residential tract. Definitely adds to the cool vibe factor!
As the name would indicate they specialize in Tropical plants — I have a pool, so tropicals and palms are the way to go. I am a big fan of palms — I like the idea of having some differing varieties in my yard — this is the place to go for exotic palms — trees you’ve never seen but are really cool.
Strolling around here is very casual — you can learn a lot by reading the tags, i also made some notes, and walked around a bit with the guy working here. There are some great plants on display around the house — you should get some good ideas here. Like most specialty places, prices are higher than big chains — this is the place to go explore other options, and when you can’t get what you want elsewhere.
I didn’t buy anything on this trip, but I got some names and pics of palms that I may eventually want to use in my landscape. I am glad that I found this place to use as a resource for palms.
Even if you’re not ready for a project — I recommend taking a look if you’re in the area — just go by and check out the vibe.

The nursery itself is a little hard to get to, but once you’re there you’re consumed with an oasis of gardening options.
The entire property is well organized, so find the plant (s) you came there for is a breeze. For a new gardener like myself, it’s an added benefit to come to this location because Tropical Vibe landscape designers are very knowledgeable and patient.
