Total waste of time and money. I went twice to see Dr. Weinstein. First off, not the most sparkling personality. Secondly, I did not receive anything conclusive outside of stating the obvious with what I was experiencing with my back at the time. Dr. Weinstein spent about 5 minutes each time with me. Upon exiting I was told my co-pay was $ 40. I paid the first time, the second time I was waiting for literally 15 minutes with noone at reception and was told to continue to wait by other staff. I told them I had to go back to work and left. I get a bill in the mail for $ 40, no problem, and mail back a check. Then I receive another bill for $ 40. This time they are telling me the $ 40 collected was because co-pay was actually $ 60 and to run after my insurance for their error. Very shoddy representatives working here. I would not recommend to anyone for their back issues. Many other places are available. No customer service at all here and poor attitudes in all areas of staff, not to mention my injury wasn’t even assessed.

I just got a report from him for the Auto Club, and he is saying that my soft tissue damage was not apparent at the time of the accident, therefore, I have no claim. Are you serious??? Doesn’t everyone know that soft tissue damage shows up a few days later??? Google it Dr. Weinstein!!! He also made some other claims that make me think he was«throwing it», so I could say he was a dumbass and win my case. Really??? What a schmuck.

Dr, Weinstein is the best surgeon in the business. I know as I interviewed 5 different doctors for opinions. Dr. Weinstein performed extensive lower back surgery on me just over two years ago and did a fantastic job, I am 99% pain free now. He is extremely professional, very through and does a great job of attempting alternative methods of healing you before rushing you into surgery like so many other Doctors attempt to do. I went to him on recommendation by several people around Newport Beach, all of which spoke very highly of him. Even one of the pain management doctors that I visited for my issue ended my appointment by telling me that Weinstein was the best in town at what he does and would himself use Dr. Weinstein should he every need to.

Not surprised to see these reviews. I went to him twice for an upper back/neck issue and he told me to «walk it off and work out.» I had already been doing that for years, and told him it only made me worse! He nevertheless insisted I was impatient and dismissed me. I drove home crying. Sometimes physicians should maybe ask more of the docs that referred me to them.

I like Dr. Weinstein because he’s not one of type of doctors that are like used car salesmen trying to shuttle you off into the latest fad back surgery. His experience lends to a no-nonsense and practical approach to the issues. He knows what he’s talking about and I like his conservative approach. Wait times are mixed but 80% of the time it’s pretty quick. I trust him and respect his opinion and that’s what counts most with me.

I went to this doctor thinking that he would help me. He said that I needed surgery for a torn lateral meniscus but it’s been just over a year and my knee never got any better. It took him nearly 3 weeks to get my pain level under control from the very minor surgery and one of my incisions got infected and when I told him that I pulled out the sutures that were covered in yellow pus, he told me that I was a problem patient and that what I was telling him wasn’t true. I would avoid this guy, he’s a joke.
