To be honest, I’ve always loved DEB’s clothes — particularly their plus-size collection. The clothes are stylish and well-fitting; however, the customer service at DEB is absolutely awful. I went in one day a few months ago to shop for clothes for myself and my best friend. When we walked in, we were barely greeted and as we shopped, we were completely ignored. As a matter of fact, I noticed one of the sales associates got a visit from a group of friends while we were there, and she was exponentially more excited to see them than any customer that walked in. of which there were about four, including my friend and I. I was quite frustrated with the service, so I decided to say something about it to the MOD. I attempted to use non-threatening words. For example, I used the term«sub-par» to describe the customer service instead of «bad» or «awful.» Once I talked to the manager, she became irate. She sarcastically demanded to know, «Had she not smiled enough?!» Her attitude was atrocious! The woman then proceeded to say, «How about I call security?! Maybe you would like to talk with them!» She proceeded to call security and when they arrived, she completely lied to them about what had happened. My friend and I were escorted out, and I was livid. I ended up calling the DM and she seemed concerned. I was told that the situation would be addressed. However, it was not. I ended up going back to the store a few weeks later to pick up a dress for my birthday. If it wasn’t for the pretty clothes in my size, I would NOT have gone back. At this point, I wish I hadn’t. The rude manager was there. I asked to speak with her manager, and she called her on the phone. She then handed the phone to me, and said that she wanted to speak to me. As I stood at the counter talking to the GM, the rude assistant manager proceeded to roll her eyes and make fun of me in front of the customers. I told the GM what was going on, and the assistant manager snidely told me, «If you don’t want to be here, you can go online.» She then proceeded to roll her eyes again and shake her head in front of the customers at the register. Eventually the GM told me to give the phone back to the rude assistant manager, and apparently told her to have someone else personally assist me. I ended up buying a dress for my birthday, but I was pretty upset with the situation. I called the store on the following to speak with the GM, and she told me that her district manager had said to cease contact with me. I was appalled. I called corporate and I was ignored. I used Twitter to contact the company, and I was told that«the problem had already been taken care of.» I said that I would still like to speak with someone. However, after that, all further communication was ignored. I have NEVER had such HORRIBLE customer service — including from corporate. Apparently, DEB doesn’t care about their customers… at all. I will never shop there again. What a horrible company!

Came by to look at cruise clothes. I ended up getting a great deal since they had a bogo sale along with a shoe sale. Spent a little more than I wanted but I ended up getting two pieces of clothing for free. Can’t beat that. The staff was friendly and the store was very organized and clean.
