Awful, painful, uneven. The person that did my eyebrows should not be allowed to do this to other people. I went to get my eyebrows done. It was more painful than I ever have had before, and the pain lasted for more than a day. I also had bumps below my brow, which I also have never had before. The eyebrows were uneven and now I have to wait months before they re-grow and I can get a skilled person elsewhere to shape them. The woman that did the brows, my guess, tried to cover up the mistakes by adding brow pencil before showing me the brows. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this experience and writing this review because I don’t want other people to go through this kind of experience.

If I could rate the workers individually, I would rate Fazia as a one. NEVERGOTOHER. She messed up my eyebrows so bad. My eyebrows were so uneven. She over threaded my left eyebrow and took out hair where she wasn’t supposed to! It’s been over two months and the hair still hasn’t fully grown. When I confronted her about it, she said it was like that because the hair on the eyebrow doesn’t grow. That definitely wasn’t the problem. Then she kept rambling about some nonsense excuse and said that her and the other girls have been working there for a long time. I don’t know how this girl got the job in the first place. She leaves hair where she isn’t supposed to and takes out hair where it’s supposed to be left. She’s got it all backwards. Not only did she completely butcher my eyebrows, she tried to play it off and say it’s cause my eyebrows don’t grow. If you do decide to go here, ask for Mehraj. She’s great! Now this is someone who knows how to thread eyebrows and if you say yes to lotion, she even gives you a little eyebrow massage. I’ve had mixed emotions coming here. 1 star for Fazia but 5 for Mehraj.

I came to this place Thursday because the customer service in Archez was awful. I didn’t get the name of the women who did my eyebrows but she did a great job. I told her I didn’t want any arch and stick to my natural shape. And she did exactly that. She also gave me a tip that if I pull on my forehead and upper lid more, the threading wouldn’t hurt so bad! For 3 dollars more than Archez, I think I got great service. She even massaged my eyebrows a bit which was wonderful.

Stopped by here as a last minute resort their prices are crazy and their advertising is contradicting their Unilocal advertisement. The deal on Unilocal is more than the deal on their flyer. I’m glad they were open because it was an emergency but I’ll stick to my awesome eyebrow lady for $ 3.

Ok so turns out that RINA is no longer employed by Shapes Brow Bar!!! Let me tell you how disappointed I am that I have no idea where to find her to do my eyebrows. I have been going to her for over 5 years now, and as a matter of fact I just canceled my membership today! I refuse to let anybody else touch my eyebrows. I allowed 2 other girls who work there, to do them and they messed it up really really badly. SO I am not sure why they would let go of the only competent person at this place but one thing is for sure, I will never ever go to this place ever again and I have already asked my family members and all my friends to do the same … BRINGRINABACK!!!

It’s your typical eyebrow threading place. Hit or miss depending on who you get. I like Rina’s work. She’s less likely to cut you or take too much off. I’ve tried the other ladies and haven’t had as much luck. The location is smack dab in the middle of the mall with no privacy doors. So, you do get fish-bowled a little. Prices are reasonable. But don’t expect anything fancy. If you’re looking for a fast, no-nonsense clean-up, this is the place.

I needed a place closer to home that did eyebrows and while shopping at Golf Mill Mall, I saw SHAPES. I was a little hesitant at first but I knew I needed to try a place first before judging it. The lady did a nice job and I was very pleased. I decided to go again after 2 weeks had passed. The lady that originally did my eyebrows was not there. I was told that she no longer worked with the SHAPES Company. Another woman assured me that I was in good hands and said she would do my eyebrows the way I wanted(thick with an arch). Once she had finished threading my brows, I looked in the mirror and immediately noticed how uneven they were. One was shorter and thinner than the other. She took quite a bit of hair off and my brows were not as thick as I would have liked them to be. I turned to the lady and pointed out the unevenness but she only looked at me as if I was crazy and didn’t know what I was talking about. To try to reassure me that everything was okay, she said that they only looked different because the area around my brows was red and swollen. She also turned to the other lady who worked there and asked her if my eyebrows looked fine(which she said they did). I obviously wasn’t getting through to this lady. So I gave up and just wanted to pay and leave. As I was waiting to pay she tried to sell me a SHAPES membership. Right off the bat I said«NO» but she tried another 2 – 3 times to get me to join. I was very frustrated with her and her service, so I just put the money down on the counter and walked away. I went home unhappy and unsatisfied. Clearly the customer is not always right at this SHAPES location.
