More like 3.5 stars. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch. It was packed. There were 2 servers working frantically. I had the shaken beef and it was pretty good. Would have bumped this up to 4 stars if the service was better.

This place is by my sisters house so I’ve gone here quite a few times for phở, I also ate here a couple of times with my wife. Honestly… it’s a 3 – 3.5 star place… appetizers I’ve had… average, nothing spectacular. Their phở is good, not the best but again… close to my sisters house. I got the shrimp in my phở for an extra few dollars… they gave me 4 tiny shrimp that had no flavor at all… but besides that, the staff is really nice and helpful. But as I said… it’s an average place… not bad but nothing great either.

Had the veggie lovers stir fry with shrimp and a spicy soup, not sure of the soups name. The veggies were wilted and not only did the shrimp still have tails but there were a couple of tails thrown in there that had no shrimp. Just shrimp tails, yuck. The soup was nothing special either.

My girlfriend ordered online so I can conveniently pick up the order. When I got there they said no such order exist even after I showed him a confirmation email and my bank statement. They got real third world«no speak any English» and kept helping other people. Then after raising my voice and threatening to call the cops my order miraculously appears. This place is a dump the price speaks for itself.

Saigon Café is a place really close to my home and I was pleased to find out that they sell Phở my new obsession. The place is located in a strip mall area across from a Waffle House. I walked in and placed my order to go. I got Phở Bac Biet which had an assortment of beef to go inside with a nice beef broth. I spent about $ 9 for dinner for the to go order. The broth was pretty good nice and flavorful, full bodied but salty. The sides were skimpy, barely any cilantro, green onions and onion, 2 strips of culantro and some basil. In the end I had too much broth not enough fixings to go in my Phở. Overall I like this place it’s close and good for when I want to feed my craving for Phở, but next time I will ask for extra sides.

Went to do dinner here last night, and was seated immediately. Compared to my original Phở go-to place, Saigon is MUCH more appealing overall. Clean, inviting, and the staff are very friendly and answered my questions about some menu items on the Thai side that I had never experienced before. I went with my default Phở Dac Biet, medium size of course, and it was loaded with plenty of beefy goodness and a large portion of noodles. The broth was tasty and more savory than I’m used to, which I really enjoyed. I plan to go back soon and try some of the Thai dishes on the menu, since a friend suggested I try the Tom Kha. Overall I think I’ve found my new go-to place for Phở near the house…

I was at the Alpharetta branch of Saigon Café a few years ago for some phở, and was not very impressed with it. It was okay, but I guess I am spoiled by the goodness that is Phở Saigon and didn’t think this place was nearly as good as that. Craving Thai for lunch and having failed at Loving Hut(vegan, wasn’t up for that) and Thai Spice(closed for lunch on Saturdays), this was the only other choice within a mile of my house. Actually I didn’t even realize they served Thai until noticing that on Unilocal, being that it is called Saigon Café. We ordered Tom Kha Goong, spicy seafood pineapple fried rice, and seafood rama curry, along with a Thai iced tea. Can’t resist the iced tea… After waiting not quite 10 minutes, the curry comes followed a minute later by the fried rice. «No soup yet?» I thought, but figured it might come out soon afterwards. Never got it… which was a shame because it looked really good on the menu and I was craving my favorite soup in the world(well, that and lobster bisque). So despite that shortfall, here was the rest of the experience. The fried rice, as soon as it was put on the table, you could just see that it was going to be delicious. It just looked so fresh and perfectly made on the plate. I started by scooping the curry on top of a bed of white rice, and again could immediately sense this might be tasty. Mixed within the sauce were chunks of real peanuts, along with plenty of pieces of shrimp, squid, fish filet chunks, and fish balls. Wouldn’t you know it, both were awesomely good, possibly the best tasting rama curry and pineapple fried rice I’ve had in the U.S. The fried rice was very spicy, not too sweet despite ample pieces of pineapple, and plenty of the fire heat flavor that I think is a must for good fried rice. The curry had good peanutty taste and deep curry flavor, without being too creamy. The tea was also very good, and you can get it with boba or without. Too bad the soup didn’t come, but the waiter was apologetic and didn’t charge us. Will have to try it next time though… Well, last meal out in Atlanta before heading out to L.A. for 2 months, and it’s always good to end it on a high note. Just based on what I had today the food is 4.5 stars, but based on the phở experience from before, slight miss on the order, and a very ordinary décor/atmosphere, I give it a solid 4 stars. Table-for-1 Factor: The place wasn’t busy despite being lunch hour which was peculiar, but that makes for a great meal for one.

The food is okay. Nothing special. Good place to grab lunch. The bubble tea is great! Most times I go just to get the tea.

Any restaurant that has a tree inside of it has got to be good — right? This phở establishment is no exception. Quite, clean simple and cheap are the signs of a good phở restaurant. Quiet: I’ve been to this location multiple times, both to carry out and to dine in and it’s always very serene. there are no blaring TVs you have to compete with, the wait staff are never chatting loudly in a corner and the customers are always too busy eating their delicious phở to annoy you with loud banter. Clean: I am a bit of a germaphob so how clean a restaurant is is very important to me. This restaurant has had a 90+ health score the last 2 years — woot for a clean restaurant. Simple: From the décor to the menu to the food, simple is the theme of this cozy little phở place. There is no extra ‘stuff’ around — no TVs, no crazy décor, squeaky chairs, nothing. Just good service and good food. Cheap — my boyfriend and I can eat 2 full meals an appetizer for under $ 25, add a bubble tea for me its still under $ 30 with tip. Come one, come all for a warm bowl of goodness — warning, the desire to roll around and drool after your big bowl is very normal.

Horrible food! Phở is salty I had to add my cold water to the soup. I had the spring roll also, and that was just average. The price is okay, and so is service. The food, however, is a completely another thing that I hate about this place. If you want good phở, I Luv Phở, Phở Dai Loi, etc. All these places surpass the phở and the vietnamese rice dishes in Saigon Café. If you want real Thai then go somewhere else too.

The décor in this place is well done but the attentiveness of the servers could use some work. We ordered our food, which came at a decent time but I ordered some hot tea to go with my meal which never came. On top of that, when we would try to flag down a waiter or waitress, we were completely ignored. The tea was on the final bill. Food was okay. Not spectacular. I wouldn’t say I had a terrible experience but they could have certainly done better.

If you need a phở fix, this should work but more flavorful options can be found ten minutes away on Buford Highway. The broth was good but a bit bland in comparison. I don’t know if Saigon Café is a chain but it certainly felt like that with a number of other cuisines on the menu.

I’ve been here many times before, but this is my first time reviewing it. Consistently this place has good food and fast service. Now they have a special of 20% off during 3pm-6pm. FOOD: I usually get the rice vermicelli with shrimp, charbroiled pork, and egg roll. You get a big bowl of rice vermicelli with a little bit of lettuce, thin carrot slices and a side of fish sauce. It’s very filling and very good. I tried their masaman curry and beef Mongolian dishes, which are both very good. The curry is not spicy and very tasty. It has broccoli and carrots which gave it a nice color to the dish. The beef dish is kind of sweet and came on top of crispy vermicelli. TIP: Parking at this location is good, prices are good, and service is fast.
