I didn’t have anything done.
I had a 4:45 appt. I checked in on time. And waited. At 5:10 no one had bothered to say, «We will be right with you». Other clients were being checked in and served…
My friend comes here for every service from head to toe and I was hoping to like Changes. After a 30 minute wait I told the receptionist to cancel my appointment.
Where has customer service gone. Sigh.

Love the set up and interior. Great customer service and a glass of wine too! Tech spent a lot of time with me. Got a gel mani and spa pedicure. I just wish the mani was a little cleaner. I don’t like to come out with pools of polish at the base of the nail bed and polish on the skin. It is more expensive then I usually
Pay, $ 92 plus tip!!! Will go somewhere else next time.

There are times in life that a woman needs to be pampered. My mother is aging and does not take the time to pamper herself. Coming here was the best thing for her. The staff is so friendly and caring. It was the best experience for her and we will be back often

My sister-​in-​law treated her bridal party to manicures and pedicures before her wedding last weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming — they even gave the bride some body butter and salt scrub as a gift! We had a private room for mimosas and lunch (which we brought in), and they kept us together as a group for both the manicures and pedicures. I rarely go to the spa, so the whole process felt really luxurious. And my nails still look great!

The folks at the counter welcomed me and then offered some red wine! The staff was so inviting it was hard to pick one of the best moments. Ok, it was the warm welcome and the wine!
My spa pedicure was awesome. No grinding away the callus as they use a pad to break the hard skin down!
The facility was clean and comfortable!

It’s a pet peeve of mine when a service is offered for X time and the actual time falls significantly short. It’s like buying a dozen eggs and only getting eight in the carton. This isn’t what I paid for.
I came in for the first time with an appointment for a 60 minute facial. Arriving 10 minutes early to get checked in (small aside, they ask for way way too much personal information) I wasn’t brought back until well after my appointment start time. My technician was wrapped up and out of the room before the original appointment time ended. It would be generous to say I had 45 minute facial.
As for the service, I’ve had better, I’ve had worse. But for $ 90, you can be certain I expected better. Ultimately, I’d say go elsewhere for a facial. Can’t speak to their other services, but this place is deceptively large and they seem to offer everything; granted, this is all at a price point slightly higher than other local spots.

New favorite place to go to get my nails done. Katrina took good care of me. I did both a spa mani and pedi. She listed to what I wanted. The price is comparable to most places I’ve been. They tend to be busy so I recommend an appointment.

I’ve been going to Changes off and on for years now and i received the first hair cut that i didn’t like on Wednesday. Thursday I called and told the receptionist I didn’t like my hair and that I didn’t think I fully communicated with Tanya, a level four stylist, what I really wanted. The receptionist said no problem come back and Tanya will fix it. I went back Saturday and within 10 minutes I had probably the best haircut I’ve ever had. Five minutes after leaving the salon i received three compliments on my hair. I would definitely recommend the stylist and the salon.

I see Stephanie for waxing every 4 weeks and now for facials. I can’t say enough about her. She is so nice and we became fast friends. Her waxing work is quick and thorough, although not painless (but can’t blame her for that ^-^). Facials are amazing.

Went in for 45 minute classic pedi. Had gel polish to remove, which happened quickly within the allotted 45 minutes. Went to pay and was charged $ 45 for the pedi plus $ 12 for the gel removal, despite it not requiring any additional time and without forewarning when I initially scheduled the appointment. Took multiple efforts to get to speak to a manager, who proceeded to tell me they should have charged $ 20 for the gel removal! I have had pedis with and without gel at multiple salons and never had a separate add-​on charge for polish removal. Their customer service is horrendous and 2 out of the 3 gel pedis I received there in the past 9 months have required redos before leaving the premises. I have been a customer of theirs in the past but never ever again.

I’ve been going to this place on and off for five years getting my nails done, and then almost a year ago, I got fed up with the hair salon I was at and decided to drive the 20 minutes from where I live to here. I’ve NEVER been happier. Nadia, Jana, and Kirsten are fantastic nail techs! There are others as well, I’ve just never had them, but I’m sure they are great because I always see the same people in their. Caitlin is fantastic with hair! I’d never go anywhere else unless I moved out of the area due to the navy. This place is a one stop shop. I have gotten massages here, nails, and hair. The products also last forever because they are incredible quality.
Seriously, I’d never go anywhere else.

What a great experience I had at Changes… Nail salons are a dime-​a-​dozen but this salon is different. Irena took special care of my nails and didn’t rush me out. They’re all very kind and very fair. I’ll definitely be back!

I went to get my hair re-​done and a trim. The service was great. They used all organic stuff on my hair for washing and style, loved that. They gave me a student discount on my foils. It’s more pricy for sure but totally worth it if you want your hair done right. They told me when I maid my appointment to bring cash for a tip, no biggy at all.

Worst haircut experience of my life. Megan cut my hair, cost 48 dollars. Right side an inch longer than the left and angles like Jen Anniston via friends with a weed wacker. I complained and they brought me in to fix it. Al told me it was a good haircut and he didn’t want to touch it «and be the next person I didn’t like». The ends are so jagged it’s embarrassing and I have to have it recut at a competent salon. Don’t go here. I added pictures of my cut.

I’m really torn about whether or not I will go back here. I got a haircut and full highlights. Cost $ 195. I was fairly happy with it and I can be picky.
I am just peeved about the fact that you can’t leave a tip on your card. Changes tries to bill itself as an upscale salon, but not allowing tips on a card is so tacky and cheap. It’s terribly inconvenient and poor custom service. But I see a number of other reviewers have left the same complaint so Changes is clearly not too concerned.
I guess if you do go there, be prepared and come with cash in advance (they do have an ATM that charges a $ 3 surcharge). They will give you cash for a check. They are just too cheap to pay the credit card fees on your tip.

When I lived in Norfolk, I came here all the time for my eyebrows. It had been awhile, but this was the first place I thought of when planning for my best friend’s bridal party. Erin was always so sweet on the phone through many changes in the number of the group and what services we wanted.
We were given a private conference room to decorate set up our champagne and snacks. When a group of the stylists came in one by one to hand us glasses of champagne, we felt like VIP. We were taken into the pedi room shortly after and fell into heaven. At the end of it all, Erin brought us a little package with a small gift and picture she took of us. Little touches like this are enough to make the girls feel special.
We’ve already talked about going back for any occasion we can come up with.
