Why is it that I always find myself looking for a framing place? I think I have an addiction to getting everything custom framed. But I just can’t help myself! They’re so purtiful. The last time I got something framed I took it to a place in Virginia Beach. They did fine, but the drive was just way too long. That was of course before I realized the full potential of Unilocal.Now, I just punched it into my phone and voila here I am at Harbor Gallery that was just 2 min drive from my place. Some people say they come here for the art. Sure they do have a decent collection but it’s small! You come here for the frames and their framing expertise.
I required three large portraits to be framed within a week which was not very much time however they accommodated my schedule without any extra cost. While custom framing is expensive, I found them to be reasonable. They did an excellent job and really the whole transaction was hassle free.
They have a resident dog and 2 resident cats so just fyi when you walk into the store. I do recommend them for your framing needs!

Harbor Gallery is my favorite place to window shop. This cute, small gallery always has an excellent selection of art, whatever your taste and budget.
Most of their sizable pieces are a few hundred dollars, but they also have some prints and posters for those of us with a champagne taste on beer budgets. The staff never minds me just checking out what they have without making purchases. It’s a good way to get some visual stimulation and to take in a good dose of art without breaking your piggy bank.
Absorbing great art while demonstrating self-​restraint is my way rehab as a chronic shopaholic. For you fellow spenders, Harbor Gallery is great therapy.
