World’s largest NEX! Yeayah! This place has it all. Did you know there’s even an Auntie Ann’s in there? Crazy.
I enjoy going to the nex to look around at different sales, and we got our Black Friday shopping done here since it’s tax free.
Overall the prices are good, so is the selection here, but don’t expect that with the food section (high prices and not much to choose from).
The food court here is great, the different options are good for having a group of people.
Not much bad about this place! All your navy needs in one spot!

This was a quick stop. I was with my cousin whom was looking for a gift for her moms birthday. The selection of items in this place was amazing. We didn’t have much time here but, it was surely a place I would like to return to. I am sure that at a later date with an entire experience I would truly enjoy myself here and probably walk away with many items. LOL Maybe it was a good thing I didn’t have much time. I see many dollars that could have been spent. Heads up… GO PREPARED

At of the military exchanges NEX is the best. NEX has your home goods, clothes, shoes, electronics and etc. They try to stay competitive with other departments stores in terms of style and pricing and even the trends. However, I find I still have to research pricing because sometimes I can find things cheaper on the outside. But overall, with a food court and one stop shop it’s a winner.

Stores were great & all but the choices in food are limited. I suppose there’s many choices along Hampton but anyway, the service was terrible. If you come here, go shopping, don’t eat here. Not sure if everyone that works at the food court just hates their life or is rude naturally. Its not worth being looked down on.
My experience:
I’m waiting in line & the guy kept yelling for next costumer despite his current customer wasn’t finish yet (they were using one register) so I saw no point in running up and pushing her out of my way (there was no lines either.) Then as we are ordering, he’s STILL yelling at me (do I need to remind you there was no lines & 2 – 3 hours away from closing.) And when my drink was done, there was a bit of chatter around so I didn’t hear the cashier tell me my shake was finish. When I turned around she gave me a horrible glare as if I was stupid.

My boyfriend and I didn’t find any deals here today on the items we were looking for. What we saw was limited and the prices were too high. We left empty-​handed. We plan to return but will more than likely call ahead to see if they have what we are looking for at a fair price.

2 NWU tops, bottoms, cover, new boots and patches. $ 358.62. Shame on all of you for charging so much for uniforms. There is no excuse or justification for that amount of money for only 2 uniforms.

Biggest NEX is the biggest waste of space… the female clothing area resembles a thrift store and you can’t even find a basic pair of black pants or pumps. I hope the electronics section makes up for the tired clothing section. Please hirer a new buyer!!!

They have almost everything you could want between the NEX and the commissary. I try to stay away from the NEX as it is overpriced, the commissary is the better deal of the two. Even the gas over there is overpriced.

I really don’t go here too terribly often sense it is often crowded and such. However, the selection is really nice and it has just about everything you could need. The food court is absolutely wonderful! It has something for every taste bud. My only issue is the crowds but you go where the people go, right? haha

This place is huge! The food court is big, has a nice selection of fast food. Really, you can’t go wrong shopping here for everything you need. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is for the hour and I half I spent here I was not asked once if I needed help, or even a greeting. Not that I need it, but in customer service it is a standard.

I do love coming here occasionally especially if they have a big sale. Who doesn’t love a discount anyway!!! My favourite spot is the electronic department. They have a great selection of brands and the deals are massive. This place is always busy and pay day is the definitely the worst day to visit because its packed and crowded.
As far as I know, this is the biggest navy exchange in the world. This particular exchange has a wide extensive product range from electronics, kitchen wares, fragrances and cosmetics, clothing, shoes and accessories.
Exchanges play an important role for U.S. military and federal government personnel assigned overseas as they are often the only local source for American retail merchandise. Exchanges also supply gasoline at prices roughly approximating those in the U. S normally on a rationed basis, to overseas personnel for personal use, since fuel prices in most foreign countries (where U.S. military are stationed) are normally much higher due to local taxes.
Definitely one of the must shopping place to visit.

There us so much to look at! I love this place it’s like walmart but the people aren’t miserable. Our cashier was genuinely nice! I wish there was one closer to me.

This has grown to be the largest NEX in the world and it is always busy.
They have everything you need for home from decorations to furniture to clothes.
As with any exchange avoid payday or payday weekends bit you can’t beat the tax-​free. The price matching guarantee for electronics is great.
I normally give the NEX a 5 star due to the benefits but this place is so big and I prefer Little Creek.

This NEX is huge and it has great brands for reasonable prices. They also do promotional deals. This NEX has everything you may need, from food, cosmetics, household items, furniture, electronics.etc. It’s conveniently located next to the movies, restaurants and the Navy Lodge.
I enjoy shopping here. Never had a bad experience. The staff are so helpful.

I enjoy shopping at the NEX for certain things.
Most of the time their brand name cosmetics and fragrances are MUCH cheaper than Sephora and the girls at the Benefit counter are super sweet! I feel like the employees in the cosmetic section actually want to help you instead of just asking hoping you will say no. And again, prices are usually cheaper plus tax free.
I usually find good deals on clothing and shoes here. Some of their small appliances for the home are discounted too.
Now with that being said I try to avoid the whole electronics department. I never find a good deal here. Things are cheaper online or at Best Buy. Definitely shop for the sales and don’t just go in thinking you will get a great deal, because you are getting tax free.

Must have a US government ID. This is for military members, retires and their families. This is the best exchange in the fleet. It is literally a mall and has everything. Major supporters of Cox Cable, Verizon and Apple can all be found in this location. The Food Court is awesome and it changes up every few years. In there now is a Panda Express, Bojangles Chicken, A&W, Taco Bell and some Italian place. Large home and garden, customer service, plenty of check out, great selection for children’s clothing. The only reason why I’m not giving this store five stars is because like most Navy Exchnages, the selection for tall and large men is pathetic! I served 20 years in the military spending a lot of time stationed right here and I have bought very few clothes (other than uniforms) here because they simple do not cater to people in the 6’5 range. Other than that I will continue to go here for all other needs.

I’m a lover of the food court and the actual store itself. I do believe that this is the largest exchange in the states and it’s two floors of some good, discounted, name brand shopping.

Had to come here for work once, and was surprised at how massive this was. Coming from a base in New Jersey and thinking ours is the best, then seeing this was like going from a port-​o-​potty to a 4 star hotel bathroom.
It has all the stuff you’ll probably ever need unless you’re looking for some crazy stuff.

My first time here… loved it!!! I only had a limited time, so I didn’t get to see everything the store had to offer. But I went one early morning and the ladies in the shoe dept. had it under control. The UGGS were on sale and they were going like hotcakes. But the ladies had a system in which all customers were greeted and serviced in a reasonable amount of time. I will definitely return here. The purse selection was just ok. But I guess they have sales then one day sales so items move fast. But it’s tax free HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLO… can’t beat that!!! My only sad face is to the food court… more choices are needed.

The biggest NEX in the world? Cool. I don’t mind driving an extra 15 minutes to get here when I could go to somewhere closer to where I currently live in Virginia. The staff I’ve encountered here is very nice. The uniform shop has everything you need for navy uniforms and pretty much anything for whatever else you do.
I like the automatic frozen yogurt dispenser in the food court.
