The food well let’s just say. If u don’t have time to go office base its ok. But make ur way off base.

The reason I’m giving this place three stars is for the lack of choices they offer. They food is done from scratch and is real good quality. You’ll definitely come back here. The prices are pretty good as well, you’ll leave with a full stomach. The service is on point, everyone is real attentive and nice. It’s a good stop for lunch, but maybe a once a week deal.

It’s average mall style Chinese. That being said, it’s great for a quick bite whether you’re a sailor nearby needing lunch, or doing some laundry in the next room over. There’s ample seating for the restaurants, but it can be quite busy and rushed during lunch time! Prices aren’t bad at all for a definitely filling meal. I usually bring the box home with leftovers, though my sailor hubby can finish his with no problem. The broccoli was crisp, not mushy at all! I really enjoyed that. The best thing that Rice King has to offer is, surprisingly, their special curry noodles. Whatever you choose to get on your visit, don’t miss those noodles!

Love the food especially the special curry noodles! Yum! The portion size of what they serve you is very satisfying and the overall pricing is way cheaper than Panda Express. I highly recommend this place!

I’m not a huge fan of Chinese fast food, but I not opposed to stopping at one with my family (my son loves Panda Express).
This location on Norfolk Naval Base is a nice break from the burger and sandwich places that litter the place.
If you are like me and don’t want to eat at Subway for the millionth time, stop by Rice King. The food has always been good and the staff is ready to help.
