Have been a fan for a while — great fresh food, yummy drinks, and casual ambiance. Started ordering their to go dinners — and they are delicious! Definitely recommend for breakfast, lunch, or take out dinner for a busy family.

This is my new favorite place for meeting friends for coffee. Great ambiance, great coffee and the food we’ve had — strata, quiche and croissants– were all very good. Staff have been friendly the three times I’ve been in. There is also easy parking and a decent amount of seating. It’s always nice to have a cool place to go that’s NOT a chain.

Went for the first time for a bakers dozen bagels priced $ 20 in store on the sign behind the counter and online. Was charged $ 25+ for the verbal«new price». I came all that way so I did not leave but will not be back again or recommend. They must be going out of business to have to hike prices verbally and the bagels were very old and stale, almost inedible. It’s no wonder they are having a rough time. There’s a disclaimer prices are subject to change but make sure to call in to confirm prices before you visit this café. Just the fact one has to inconvenience themselves to do this is enough to lead people away.

I stopped by yesterday to grab a quick chai and croissant… so I’m solely basing this on my first experience and it was quick. Grew up in North Andover so I was curious about this place. Very cute when you walk in… coffee house concept is great. Impression of whoever was waiting on me… bored & not overly customer service friendly… when you work in an industry that caters to people all day… you have to at least ACT like you like people! I always say«Well maybe she/he was having a bad day» but this is a huge issue in this industry. The girl who made my chai and handed it to me seemed friendly though… not to many other people smiling from what I could tell. Iced spice chai was good. I also bought a «Middle Eastern» salad to eat later at work, and, being Middle Eastern myself, there wasn’t much about it except a tiny bit of hummus & tabbouleh(feta is Greek not Middle Eastern just FYI lol).lots of lettuce. The chocolate croissant was good but I wish they offered to heat it up a bit. Seemed a bit pricey…$ 15 and some change but maybe that’s the norm for all this stuff now. I think it’s a great concept… they just need to get some customer service skills and improve on the food a bit… not sure I’d go back.

5 stars for bakery items, go elsewhere for lunch. At least the turkey was fresh carved and not gross deli meat, but would have been nice to have some on the sandwich! My wife and I ordered the pilgrim sandwich to take with us to the beach and had to go buy another lunch when we got here. The sandwich was mostly bread with a little turkey and a small lump of stuffing. Barely any cranberry. Very little taste and quite disappointing. The bakery items we got however were outstanding!

Generally this place is okay, but on the pricy side for what you get. The lattes are good and so are the bagel sandwiches. Unfortunately, just had an experience last Sunday where I realized that this place just isn’t worth it. Got a salad, it was very mediocre and bland. I didn’t like the dressing so asked for balsamic vinaigrette instead. The dressing they gave me was frozen so I asked for something else. I got attitude when I told them it was frozen«we don’t keep the dressing in the freezer» — just an FYI for them, dressing freezes in the fridge if the fridge is set too low or it’s in the back… Anyways I get a new«balsamic vinaigrette» which is very dark and looks like just balsamic vinegar. But I give them the benefit of the doubt and try it at the table and it was straight balsamic. So back I go to the counter to explain that the dressing isn’t right and I ask for real balsamic vinaigrette or my money back, because the salad is sub-par, service isn’t good and I just want to get out of there. They give me an attitude about the dressing again and make me this horrible balsamic concoction. At that point, I was just over it and not willing to fight for my money back. Unfortunately, we had seen the owner(manager?) who is always very pleasant and helpful leave as we were arriving. I know this would not have happened if he was present, but it is was it is and I will no longer be a patron.

Their salads have gone downhill. They used to be good, but clearly the owners have started skimping on ingredients. The Mill salad used to have lots of nice slices of apple and ample nuts and cheese. Now? Mostly lettuce! It’s frustrating to pay $ 9+ for a container of lettuce.

Went in for first time today and wanted to love it, but overall was not impressed. Love the atmosphere great set up and inviting, if only the manager(or owner) was welcoming. She seemed annoyed when I asked how long they had been open. Then when I ordered my espresso and oatmeal and asked the cashier if I could have berries instead of the other toppings, the manager snapped at the girl and said«we don’t do that», as if I wasn’t in the room. It was quite uncomfortable. I felt for the Cashier who was trying to provide customer service in the right way. The manager never put a smile on her face and truly seemed annoyed to be there having to wait on people. Food: Oatmeal was way overcooked and coffee was average. Disappointing to say the least.

This place never disappoints! Their lattes, hot or iced, are always rich and delicious; the perfect thing to sip while you enjoy the outdoor seating or are shooting off to work. And their bagel sandwiches… glorious! Their lox and cream cheese are spot on, and their egg sandwiches are nothing short of de-lish! I got mine with bacon and swiss, but you have the option of sausage, ham, american, or cheddar as well. They do have a limited number of bagel flavors that diminishes over the course of the day, but never have I ever been stuck with a raisin bagel egg sandwich. They have cute desserts, as well, that I have yet to try, but boy do they look heavenly. I hear the donut muffin is to die for… maybe I’ll take one home with me!

We’ve been here twice, the first time for coffee and snacks and the second time on a Sunday for breakfast. They are a partial bakery with some stuff baked on-prem and other stuff brought in. My bagel was brought in from a place called Iggy’s which I found out when I asked why they were in zip-lock bags. It was not fresh. I asked for turkey sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel and got bacon. My egg sat on the bench while they cooked the sausage so it was cold when I got it back. We ordered home fries and they didn’t show so we asked and they said they would bring them over. They showed up after we were finished eating and they were underdone. The oatmeal and berries had 5 berries total. The chicken soup was bland but seemed home-made at least. Ingredients were nice, generous amounts of chicken, just not flavorful. Kind of watery tasting. The pop-overs were excellent with a nice cinnamon butter on the side. The spinach-feta croissant was also excellent. They have a great selection of loose tea which is nice. I’ve had the dark roast coffee twice and both times it was stale. They don’t have a grill so they use«George Foreman» close-and-play type grills to cook the eggs. The bacon is cooked in the oven, not sure about the sausage. On Sunday it was packed which goes to show how desperate we are in North Andover for a good breakfast place. Lots of confusion with getting our food. Two trips to one counter on one side of the space and three trips to a counter on the other side. They call out the name that’s on your credit card when something in your order is ready so I got to hear«Francis» yelled out across the room which hasn’t happened to me since grade school. I was really hoping for a good experience but I really can’t say that it was. They need a grill if they’re going to do breakfast right and they need to think like a real restaurant/café and stage the food so that you get your meal all at once instead of piecemeal. Some of the in-house baked items are great but don’t come here for a hot breakfast.

Can you say donut muffin? Yes! Yes yes yes. I had a donut muffin and a delicious latte here on Friday and enjoyed every single morsel. It’s across from the place I discovered for prenatal yoga and it’s divine. I first found it while apartment hunting a year ago and had their lavender lemonade(yummy!!) and another snack. This week I was so excited to see where the yoga location was as its so close to good day café. I love this little local spot and can’t wait for next week to come back and play! After coming here many more times, I’m docking 2 points for rudeness. Impolite doesn’t even cover it.

I can’t say enough good things about my recent catering experience with Good Day Café. After doing some research online and from local friends, I decided to order hot and cold hor’ doeurves from them for my soon to be sister-in-law’s bridal shower. It was definitely the right decision. I worked with Kathy — she was so easy to talk to, super fast to get back to me, and easily put together the perfect menu for our 25 person gathering. My guests were beyond impressed with the spread we put out(mini beef knishes, deviled eggs, bruschetta crostini, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, coconut chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and my absolute favorite, cucumber & Boursin tea sandwiches). Hands down I will be coming back again. Everything about this transaction was absolutely perfect. Thank you to you all for being a part of my party’s success!

This café has so much potential, but I can honestly say the only reason I have been as many times as I have are because of the location and the face that it is walking distance from where I live. It’s Overpriced and the quality of food is not what you would expect given the name or atmosphere of the restaurant(false expectations). I’d love to see some fresh juices served rather than the fake sugar crap they currently have, better baked goods and some healthy alternatives. This café needs to take a lesson from sol bean café in Middleton ma. Get with the times– organic and local.

The food is delish! Prices are competitive. Atmosphere is fun but no wireless internet… kind of a let down. The girl at the the counter wasn’t very friendly but ehh neither here nor there. I would go back it’s a great place to meet a friend for coffee and treats!

Catering is TOPNOTCH. The FOOD is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. I can’t say enough GOOD things about Kathy and her staff. I often place orders at the last minute and even though I call or email at the most inopportune times, Kathy always helps me out and pulls my feet out of the fire and makes me look like I’m a superhero. I have not had the chance to dine at the café in person yet, but the CATERING is wonderful. The specialty sandwiches, salads, desserts(which are the BOMB) are always presented very professionally. I needed some holiday-themed cupcakes for a meeting at a moment’s notice and they did such a GREAT job(and I’m a former cake shop owner/decorator, so I can spot a hack job a mile away) that I was PROUD to tell people where I got them. Kathy and Good Day Café is my GO-TO caterer. I can’t see that changing. Many thanks to the staff over and over again. (hmmm. wondering if a good review can score me a free Maple Bacon Muffin on her next delivery to my company. yummmmmy.)

Ordered catering(appetizers and dessert) through this café for a graduation party. When I picked up the food on the day of the party they forgot to include all of the desserts I had ordered and I did not realize this until I got home. Unfortunately, by this time the café had already closed. When I called the next day to speak with someone I never received an apology about the error. They were unsympathetic to the situation and the attitude of the manager came across as very rude and unprofessional. I was told to come in to the café to receive a cash refund because they could not apply it back to my credit card I had used to purchase the food. When I went in to get my refund the demeanor of the manager was the same, still no apology or explaination for the mistake. Very poor customer service in light of the situation. In terms of the food, it was essentially mediocre. Overpriced for what it was worth. Better places in the area to go to for catering.
