V & V Nails

I’ve always had good experiences here.
Living in Chicago now, yet growing up around here, I always make sure to stop in V & V’s for my nail fix when I come home to visit family.
22 bucks is a steal compared to what I pay in the Windy City.
They have a huge selection of gel colors and always make my ugly nails look beautiful again.
A old co worker recommended me to this place about 8 years ago and I’ve been trying to come every time I find myself in town. Wishing I could bring these ladies back to Chicago with me.

Sorry V & V Nails my last experience there was dreadful. Since Hannah and Jane have left my nails have not been the same.
My last experience was 3 people doing my nails and the experience was not pleasant. The woman who was doing the drilling burned every single one of my nails. There is no pleasure in getting a manicure done and being hurt in the process. Nothing about the experience was enjoyable. IN fact I left my last appointment and knew I would not be back. In fact my daughter said to me where did you get your nails done they look awful.
I have since found a new salon and I am very happy. After finding the new nail salon I realized after all these years I was only just getting my nails done. Getting my nails done I still consider it is nice to be a little pampered and have a mani, not just getting my nails done which what I was getting at your salon.

My gel nails always chip too easily here. Don’t get me wrong; I’m rough on them. I’ve probably gotten a half dozen manicures here and most last a week before one or two chip. I’ve gone to a few other places in the area and I like them better because they seem to last longer. This place is a little cheaper, but only by $ 3 or so. I’d rather pay the full price to get something that lasts a full two weeks. They’re really nice though!

This was my first time going here on Saturday. I live in the city currently, so I’m usualy used to paying $ 30+ for a gel fill. I was home for the weekend and decided to take my mom to get her first gel manicure, and myself a gel fill.
I recommend making appointments for a weekend (obviously), and we had no problem getting in. I was highly satisfied with the quality of my nails and my mother’s nails. She was happy, so I’m happy.
I only deducted a star because I had 2 different people do my nails. I usually just like ONE technician do my nails.
But, I will definitely be back when I’m visiting home! $ 25 for a gel fill, not bad!

Visited this sheik nail salon right after going to Baked! My nails look so, so nice. I’m very happy because the nail tech i saw actually listened when i was requesting the shape i wanted for my nails. Their color selection was very impressive as well.

I went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. A coworker recommended it to my husband who got me a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure last Christmas. I finally got around to using it.
Honestly.while there was nothing wrong with it. I probably won’t go back. The staff seemed a little unfriendly, not rude, but just unfriendly compared to other nail salons I have been to. I certainly don’t like to be the center of attention, but here I felt invisible. Not really a feeling you want when you are going someplace for a little pampering.

I’m a huge fan of this place, its clean and the girls are extremely nice. I love they are open on Sunday’s. I get the shellac done every 2 weeks with my sister and niece. Keep up the good work.

This salon is fabulous !! I went with my daughter to get my nails gelled and they took my daughter into their own hands painted her nails and made her feel at home and didnt even charge me!
Love them!

The women here are fabulous. Very friendly and always chat you up and remember your name. They listen when you have a request. Snow gives a great pedicure! Kim does the best acrylics! Only once have I left there and thought that I could have had a better manicure — but it was someone I didn’t go to consistently and everyone is entitled to an off day, right?
V & V is clean and a nice friendly environment. I only wish they were closer to my home!
