Artisan Gallery

The shop’s owner, Patty Arbour, is a superb business owner. Her eye for quality gifts and women’s clothing
is wonderful. I have been browsing and buying at
Artisan Gallery for many years. I would shop there with much greater frequency if the salespeople were gracious or simply polite women. An additude here
is in need of repair.
Two of her long term employees are doing her
shop a terrible disservice. I have had rude comments
directed at me regarding my appearance. I have
had unkind comments made about the amount of money I have spent on a particular day. I have been
asked personal questions which bear no relevance
to my purchase. Sometimes I wonder if these
women are actually trying to push customers away?
I try to shop when it’s likely the owner is present,
since immature sales people will reign in their
resentment when the boss is around. But when
the catty giggling or the nervous whistling starts,
you will know that negativity has started. In
that case, I would recommend you put on your
headset and listen to something soothing, and enjoy the beautiful objects and
clothing in front of you.
