Awesome place! The Staff is the best, beer selection is phenomenal, and the food is great! Llywelyn’s is my favorite pub!

If you are thirsty for a great beer and hungry this is is the place for you! The beers change weekly which makes it fun! The staff are very knowledgable of the beers they serve and helpful. They have a great menu with my personal favorite being the Adult grilled cheese and sweet potato fries ! The salads, soups and flat breads are yummy as well. There is something for everyone.

We went for lunch this pastTuesday not too many customers in restaurant when we got there so we did not expect to have to wait too long. We all ordered sandwiches and burgers with fries, nothing that should have taken a long time to prepare, but it did. We waited over 30 minutes to get our food! There were other customers questioning the waitress also about their order taking so long. We have eaten their before with no problems. I feel sorry for the customers that work around there and are on their lunch breaks, I don’t think we will be back

The flat bread pizza here is really good.
The whisky collection in drinks is limited though.

Llywelyn’s is my most desirable place for quality, peace of mind, truth and happiness. It’s a great place to «be».
ME: Should I order the skinny fries?. .. or the sweet potato fries?. .. I can’t decide.
ME: «I think I want the wrap but grilled without the buffalo sauce, can you make it blackened?
LLYW: „No, that won’t be a problem.“ Would you like Ranch dressing?
ME: Hell Yes. .. whaddayaknow, history is repeating itself.. . WTF ha ha ha
ME: Are there any new beers on tap?»
LLYW: (with enthusiasm) «Sure, would you like to taste one? Oh and here is our beer list.
ME: YES!!» Ahhhhh.
LLYW: Then there’s this one.. .
ME: (playing the pretend polite game) YES! Ahhhh.
LLYW: Which beer do you think you would like
ME: I can’t decide
LLYW: (playing back with the pretend polite game which includes not rolling the eyes and taking deep sighs) Would you like a few minutes?
ME: Hell Yes. ha ha ha ha.
ME: Okay, I’ve decided, I would like the Ten Fidy Imperial Stout,
ME: Citradelic,
ME: Oskar Blues IPA,
ME: Schlafly Double Bean Blonde Ale,
ME: Founders All Day IPA,
ME: wait,. .. how about a City Wide?
ME: … no, maybe umm a 4 Hands Divided Sky (oh yeahhhh),
ME: oh.. do you have some of that New Belgium Heavy Melon (Watermelon) (uh-​huh),
ME: what about Boulevard Rye on Rye on Rye?
ME: …you know, I’ve never tried the Founders Dirty Bastard — — it seems like something I am
ME: …oh, you just got the New Belgium Hop Kitchen Juicy Mandarina IPA. .. — just pour me a tulip…

Love this place! Great food, beer, and staff. Kasey and Dan are awesome and always have great recommendations on the newest beers to try.

I accidentally posted this review to the wrong location so I’m just correcting my mistake… We went with several friends after work for drinks and dinner in the bar area last week and we had the most bizarre experience. Our waitress was extremely rude — she rolled her eyes and made exasperated faces and gestures at us throughout the evening. We asked for menus for everyone at the table and when she took our order she left before everyone was done ordering — she completely skipped two people in our party. Long story short– the 2 that got skipped ended up leaving — they were tired of her attitude and thought it was a blessing that they got skipped — in hindsight we should have left too, but we didn’t think about it at the time because our orders had already been placed. I think you probably just had to be there to witness how weird it really was — I’ve never been treated like that in a restaurant. I have some other specific examples, but I don’t care enough to waste my time listing them all out — it was just really, really bizarre. I hope she was just having a bad night, I’m sure handling the bar area during happy hour can be overwhelming.
On a side note, the food is ok — nothing special, but I do like the atmosphere (minus being waited on by someone with anger issues).

So after wanting to go somewhere to play shuffleboard and also eat, not just drink we couldn’t find anything so we settled here, on a whim.
I’m really glad we spontaneously came here though because it was extremely good food. I started with ordering a lemon drop martini (in a pub?!? I know, I know) and whew was it strong… But good. For an appetizer my friend and I split the spinach and artichoke dip with pita. Oh my, seriously the best spin and artichoke dip I’ve ever had. The pitas that come with it are so tasty as well.
For dinner my fiancé got a burger, he enjoyed it. My friend got the Reuben, said it was the best she’s ever had in her life. Her husband… I can’t remember what he got now?! And I got the fish and chips with their house made chips. The fish was fried crispy on the outside, and flaky white on the inside… So perfectly cooked without being too oily or dry. One of the best fried fish and chips I’ve ever had too.
So why the knock of a star? The service. Our server was never to be found when we needed her, she forgot things, didn’t ever fill up our drinks… The list goes on. But the food was so dang good. So that’s why a ⁴⁄₅.

Great bar service from Kelly. Had take out hamburgers that were perfect. Great spot and highly recommended. Was told when the patio is open and serving when the weather is warmer, U can smoke cigars out there.
Will return…

My husband and I decided to try the new Celtic Sandwiches. I am glad we did. We ordered the Butcher’s Block sandwich and the 3−3−3 Cheese sandwich so we could try both. Excellent sandwiches. A great selection of beers on draft. Service was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.

They have a wide selection of beer and a great menu. Bartenders and waitstaff are always good. A great place to watch the game or hang on the patio.

This place is great. The management and wait staff are all very friendly. Great happy hour and food specials. We come here all the time and love it!

Went for a date night with my husband before a movie. Stopped in and had some drinks and dinner at the bar. The place is smaller but quaint. The bartender was great and very attentive even with us eating at the bar. We will definitely go again!

I was deliberating whether to give Llywelyn’s a 3 or 4 star but I decided to go with a 4 star because of the excellent service. It’s about all you can expect out of a pub of it’s nature. The food was actually very good. I got the «famous» steak and cheese sandwich.
The steak and cheese came on a longer roll that was very fresh, the steak was good although I’m generally not a huge «steak guy» (I’ll get crucified for saying that here, but it’s the truth). It was a little tough but the cheese sauce they used was excellent and compensated for that. It also came with diced tomatoes and fried onions on it which really helped balance all the flavors and textures pretty nicely.
The fries were above average for not being house made (at least I’m assuming they aren’t), my buddy and I got a Jack & Coke also and they make it pretty heavy, which I’m not going to complain about… you get your money’s worth on them for sure.
Our waitress was really outstanding, the location is really nice, tucked away in Winghaven in O’Fallon. A good place to go on a Friday night after a long day for sure, really relaxed crowd.
Like I said in the opening, food was good, service was excellent. About all you can ask for.

This location is pretty small and quaint since it is in the middle of a Winghaven neighborhood. The service was pretty outstanding, the food was decent enough, but nothing mind blowing, and my beer was just pretty much awful. I drank a few sips of it, and the bartender knew I didn’t care for it so he kindly took it off the bill which I appreciated. Not sure i’ll frequent this location because I prefer the patio down in St. Charles, but if you are close to the area, it’s nice.

They have really really flat breads! I usually always order flat breads if they have them on the menu where I am, and I LOVED theirs. They have good food all around.
The location at Winghaven is kinda quite. Not anything like the location on Main Street. I had an awesome waiter when I wen to the Main Street one multiple times. But my servers at this one were okay, not that friendly.

The best bartenders, servers and managers. A great place with drink and food specials for happy hour and special nights. Trivia on Thursday is always a good time. The food is always great and the draft selection is constantly changing. This place is our favorite neighborhood bar since it is cozy, delicious and fun. Great for both families for dinner and drink with friend at the bar or on the patio.

Great pub to hang out at. The staff is very friendly and they have a great beer selection. The bartenders are awesome!!!

Best Reuben sandwich anywhere. The bread is flavorful and crispy. The meat is juicy with no stringy fat like most places.

Previous reviews are pretty much right on the mark for this place… food is average (nothing special) and the drinks are flowing.
We tried both an order of fish & chips and a burger. The fish & chips were actually quite good with a flaky white meat fish lightly battered and a nice tartar sauce… and of course (like any good Irish pub) they serve this meal with malt vinegar.
The burger (on the other hand) was fairly disappointing… lacking both flavor and proper cooking temp (it was over done).
Fun atmosphere, but don’t expect a gourmet pub experience here.
