Update: 2 years later still going to see Roger every few months. I’ve been very happy! Can’t beat the price either.

Very poor service. A lot of money spent ($ 69.00) considering that I had to go home and redo it myself. Manager did little to assist. I felt ripped off. They nickel and dime you for everything. $ 45.00 for color, $ 17.00 for a trim, $ 10.00 for a conditioner, $ 10.00 to flat iron, $ 10.00 to use the curling iron. When I left, my hair looked dull, limp, wiry and unattractive. Stylist’s false nails kept getting caught in my hair and kept pulling strands of my hair out as she washed and conditioned my hair. And she was also careless when flat ironing my hair, by pulling additional strands out as she went along in her haphazard way. She kept spraying hair spray in my face with no effort to keep it from going in my face when finishing my hair. She did not take pride in her craft. Her technique was very sloppy. I had to ask her to remove excess color left on my temples. She didn’t care that there were sizable color patches left behind after coloring my hair. She had to recolor the temples because the color didn’t take in a number of places. She only rinsed the color out. I thought it was suppose to be shampooed out. She was just trying to save herself time from having to blow dry all of my hair again. When I got home I saw more uncovered gray spots. Needless to say no tip was given because I felt unserviced and unsatisfied. I looked better going in than coming out. I do not recommend this location. I will never return.

Monica was friendly and knowledgable. She listened to what I said and I got exactly what I asked for. She offered services and products but was not pushy when I said no. If your looking for a affordable great hair cut go to Monica. I also brought her pictures since I’m not good at explaining.

Angelica is amazing. I’ve been going to her for a cut/​color every few months for the past 4 or so years. She is friendly, attentive, and (most importantly) incredible at what she does. Highly recommended!

I have stopped in 2 times during the week to get am eyebrow wax. Staff was friendly and fast. I felt like the 2 ladies who did my eyebrows did a great job. One time I asked if they braided hair. They did and only charged me $ 3. Definitely would recommend for eyebrows.

I needed a trim badly and wasn’t feeling the trek to my regular stylists. Monica did an amazing cut to the point where I feel like I cheated on my regular stylist. Monica understood exactly what I was looking for and gave me tips on how to get the style looking perfect. As long as Monica works at this location, I’ll keep coming back!

I’ve gone to Valerie twice in past 3 months. She listens to her clients & asks several times what u are looking for before just cutting away. I like this because it shows she cares about the work she does. From now on I will always ask for her.

I decided to right this review because two months later I am sitting at cameo (where I originally went to get my hair dyed) getting my color corrected because of Valerie’s work. I went to hair cuttery because I didn’t have the time to sit at cameo for an extended period of time (typically it can take a little longer) and wanted to treat myself to a regular salon because I have a hard time paying anything over a hundred dollars for my hair. I asked for a medium brown/​red color which was what I previously had on my hair. It had been two months and was faded. She kept saying «the color is going to be dark» and I kept explaining «okay but my hair isn’t that dark now. I don’t want it to look black». She spent maybe 4 minutes tops discussing my color with me. Well of course, it turned out basically dark brown/​black with barely any red hint. I verbalized I wasn’t happy and the only option was that she could wash it a couple of times to lighten it up. No, that’s okay I can do that myself. She acted rushed because there were maybe three other people waiting, even though I was the first customer to come in. Oh and I can’t forget the worst shampoo I’ve ever had. Her long fake nails digging into my scalp for five minutes. My hair is shoulder length so I was also charged ten dollars more for each my cut and color. A complete rip-​off. I’ve never been more disappointed and upset walking out of a salon where I paid $ 110 for a simple color and cut. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I will never go back there. Not worth the price or quality. Yes, I should have made her fix it, but I didn’t have five hours for a color correction due to the fact that it was my birthday. Better off going to cameo!

I stopped by early in the afternoon on impulse. I had a school business presentation and wanted to look my best. I clearly stated TWICE clean bob shoulder length all the way around with some layers to give it body and a side way bang (which I would love to point out she had so she KNOWS what they are.) I also told her that I had a perm.
Wellll Samantha didn’t listen. I didn’t have enough money to have my hair blown dry so it wasn’t till later when I went to style my hair for class that I saw the god awful hair cut.
I wasn’t upset though until I called and told her my hair wasn’t cut right. No I became upset when she told me she had followed the «frame» THAT WAS ALREADY THERE! Why couldn’t she follow me the customers wants? Its not like my hair looks any better She told me she shortened it a bit in the front and followed the frame of the rest.
My bangs look like s**** its the crapest side bang I’ve ever seen. my hair looks like a two year had a field day with!
The said I could come back and have the manager fix it. Samantha is the Asn. Manager so I’m not going to risk the manager fixing my hair.

I saw Melissa and she was awesome.
I’m always nervous about going somewhere new, but she did a great job. She really listened to what I wanted and it turned out great. (Highlights and a cut).
While I was there, I also noticed the other staff and how they worked. Great customer service and great attitudes. Everyone who left was happy.
Prices are great, too.

Just to let you all know, this Hair Cuttery has been under new management for about a year. Everyone there is dedicated, professional, and passionate about what they do.

Blah. I think I’ve gotten one good haircut here. That’s it. One time, I had just gotten an industrial piercing in my ear. I let the stylist know ahead of time so she would be careful. Um, she wasn’t. TWICE she combed my earrings. The second time made them bleed. Gee thanks. A different time I dared ask for an actual hairstyle. I had gotten an angled haircut at a legit place downtown and just needed a trim. All she had to do was follow the angle that my hair was already at. What did she do instead? She made my hair uneven. One side was visibly longer than the other. I didn’t notice at first until I went home and dried it. My mom had to try and even it out for me. AND it was too short. I asked for an inch at most and got 3 cut off. She also cut my bangs too short. I looked like a Dora the Explorer gone wrong. Never again. It may be cheap, but I’d rather pay a little more and not come out looking like Edward Scissorhands had a go at my hair.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, have been going here for over a year, shampoo, cut blowdry, for $ 18! i love that at my first visit Jasmine took the time to see what I wanted, nand everytime I go she remembers me, and does an awesome job! I will never go anywhere else, I have never been dissapointed
