This place belongs in Cooperstown and Canton. Definitely in my Hall of Fame for bars. I was visiting from Seattle and I felt like a regular. Michelle, the bartender, was terrific. After a little while, I felt like we had known each other for years.

A great local bar. People are friendly. A great bartender that is always nice. And great place to watch the game for the food and good priced drinks. When it’s nice out u can play bags in the patio.

This is a decent sports bar in Oak Lawn. I actually miss living near it. The crowd ranges from normal to strange depending on the hour/day. It’s located right next to Fox’s and you can order delivery right to the bar. I wish more bars in the area would up their game in the craft beer department. As long as you can stand a somewhat boring beer list you’ll be fine here.

Not a bad bar although having a television over the cigarette machine and away from everything is perhaps the stupidest thing I have seen in a bar. The fireplace is nice and this bar was alot nicer looking than I expected from driving by many times. The service was good and this is a typical South suburban bar.

It really is easy to miss. It is sandwiched between SW Highway and Fox’s. So, eat at Fox’s and hit this place to watch the game afterwards. I disagree with Dave. This bar would be classified as a dive bar. That is to say, it’s dimly lit, people are dressed very very casually, they have very inexpensive beer options($ 1 Bush Light cans) in addition to the traditional domestic options(Bud & Miller). It also had darts and other games including an old-school bowling game with a metal disk that slides down a small lane to pop up pins, and a golf video game which I believe was Golden Tee. They also sold peanuts and gave away popcorn(but the popcorn in the machine looked a little stale by 10pm). The night I went there was a mix of young and old(early 30’s to late 50’s) who were all friendly. I stayed there the whole first half of the Cowboy/Jets game chatting about fantasy football, which decade had the best music, and 9⁄11. I will definately be back.

About as fun a place as one can go to on the Southside– reasonable drinks, nice people, god bar ambiance, and a place where you can hear the jukebox!!! Its a blast

If you’re looking for a clean, friendly, decently priced bar on the SW side of Chicago, this is your place. Everyone needs their ‘local’ spot for those nights where you can use a friendly face and no place has done it better than this at TailGators. They have a very decent beer garden in the summer and in the wintertime, there are enough bar stools, tables and booths for everyone to get a nice spot in front of the several big screen /projection screen TV’s in th bar. One of the downsides is that there isnt a kitchen, but a little tip for you newbies, you can ask any of the staff for a menu to next door Fox’s Pizza and they’ll deliver the food directly to your table.

Upon first glance I really thought that I was not going to be all impressed with this place. It is located on a very busy stip of South Cicero Ave and if you blink you are going to miss this place. It is located just north of SW Highway. This is a very long, narrow building and I really expected it to be somewhat of a dive. Much to my suprise, it is really well kept up. The service was great and the drinks were not even close to being expensive. The crowd was more of a 20-something crowd but everyone was really super-chill and we met some fun people here.
