Sorry but your loosing your style. The tamales are wonderful however the servers leave a lot to be desired. Please don’t bring burnt chips to the table. Thank you gross.

Food was excellent. We had mushroom chicken and grilled chicken, both were 5 star quality. Service was also very good. Servers made a sincere and visible effort to make us comfortable. Restaurant ambiance and presentation were very good.

In a summary: 1) just average pupusas. If it was just for this it deserves zero stars for a salvadorian place. 2)the reason it has 2 stars for me was the seafood soup which was good 3) don’t expect great service here nor a great ambiance

5 stars because they have great«Pupusas’s», a typical Salvadorian specialty hard to come across. When in the area this is the place for my go to lunch usually at 3PM while starving after waiting too long to eat before heading back to Miami. The service is good and the place is clean and pleasant. Now I order extra to go. They heat well in the oven the next day for breakfast. My favorite one is the one with«chicharron» and cheese but there are more options. The place is close to 1 –95 if you are not from the area.

I work down the street. Bought two lunch menus, looked at my bank statement today and they charged me a good 5 $ over what I was supposed to be charged. Not sure why but all I know is that I will not be coming back to this establishment.

Food was good. but the owner of the restaurant has an attitude that i cant seem to shake. i have been going for a while now and even recommended it. but when a person goes out of their way to impose their thoughts is borderline attacking your customers. im never going back.

I’ve been coming here for years. Waitresses are always really kind and your food is done pretty quick. Pupusas and steak 10⁄10. GOGETYOUSOME!

An little nugget of delicious delight. Happy atmosphere, friendly service, clean & affordable. If you have never tried Salvadoran food, order the pupusa, a thick corn tortilla stuffed with chicharon, chicken or with queso, etc. It traditionally comes with a cabbage salad & salsa. So good. Goes great with an ice cold beer – which they also serve with chilled glasses(a nice touch). We like to over-order the pupusa as they can be a fantastic breakfast the next day, heated in a skillet, served with an egg. Just sayin. La Molienda also makes the best homemade soups. On a rainy day, try some chicken! Beef is also full of flavor and both are served with rice 2 small corn tortilla. I think anything on the menu is going to be tastey. Staff is super friendly and efficient. Special hello to Patricia – best service ever. There is plenty of parking in the back & if you need to use the washroom, you have to get them to unlock it for you, just ask.

I have been in Fort Lauderdale for 3 weeks and hand’t came across a Salvadorean restaurant. I finally found one and was very impressed. The service was great, the food was delicious, and it didn’t take long to get my food served. I highly recommend their pupusas. They are delicious! I will definitely come back again.

I’ve visited this place on two occasions so far, and both times I’ve left satisfied. I’m a big guy and I stop here and chow down after a gym session. Their portions are large and will definitely fill you up. Their prices are very reasonable for the size of meal you receive(10 – 13 dollars for most entrees). I’ve eaten a chicken dish and a steak dish at La Molienda and both were juicy and flavorful. Their pupusas are fantastic. The food is very fresh, you can get an avocado as a side and both times I have gone the avocados have looked gorgeous and tasted ripe. Open late(til 11pm on most nights) and a very friendly staff. Only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because Algeria Tacos and El Guanaco are right down the road.

I’ve stopped in here several times. Its been around for a long time now and appears rather popular, but I don’t know why. It specailizes in Salvadorian food and maybe the problem is with me because I am no expert on what Salvadorian food is suppose to be or suppose to taste like. However, everything I have had here has tasted rather bland, lacking in flavor or any added touches making it unique or interesting. The chicken dishes have always been dry, kind of overdone and tough as a result, which holds pretty much true to all of the other foods I have tried here. The service, however, has been very good, friendly and polite.

I’ve eaten here twice. The first time I had the Filete de Pescado en Salsa(Filet of fish sauted in salsa) & it was damn near great – BIG portion & extremely flavorful. Second time I went for the same thing(Filet of fish) but in lemon sauce. Good but not great. Same big portions. Servers are very nice, good food, big portions, reasonable prices, open late = I’ll be back!

The only reason I go here are for the pupusas. Top notch. Then again I may be slightly biased as I’ve never had a bad pupusa. I do agree with the one reviewer about the sides though. Not exactly terrible but not good either. I only picked at them here and there.

Quaint latin place. Comes with tortillas to snack on. Pretty clean place. Now the food: I got the trio. The pollo was dry and bland; the beef was overcooked and bland; the shrimp was salty and over cooked. The rice was oily, mushy, and bland. The tortilla was bland. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Thumbs down and disappointed after the reading the good reviews. Also, pretty pricy for portion size

Their meat sampler plate called Molienda is amazing, and their passion fruit juice is delicious! The«pupusas» are very good. Not crazy about the desserts, but really, you barely have tummy space to fit the food you’ll have. Opens til very late(11pm, I think), so it’s a MUUUUCH better alternative than any diner in the area.

I thought this was in Fort Lauderale, but I know it was on Oakland Park near Andrews so maybe it is in Walton Manors. I had the Molienda which was a trio of beef, shrimp, and chicken with rice. Let me say that the meat and shrimp were so delicious and flavorful, which was perfect with the rice. I hope to find a Salvadorian restaurant in Chicago!
