So I stopped in on the way back from a vape shop east of here thinking I could save some mileage, I don’t think I will next time. The cashier Vanessa was really good as was her bagger, everyone else that worked there were not what I have come to expect from Publix. One employee cut me off in the aisle, several others were not stocking the way I’ve observed in other Publix’s, you know«considerately». «Shopping is a pleasure?» Not at this one until you get to checkout! The employees there could learn a lot from Vanessa!

When I have to visit this location which I try my hardest to avoid, you can expect to be harassed by bums, have to check the seals on everything you buy because often items have been opened and resealed, use rubber gloves because the store is so dirty and covered in black mold, be met with surly or very poorly trained employees and please don’t forget to wipe your feet on the way out so you don’t dirty the neighborhood. I would never let my wife, mother, sister or daughter shop at this wild west wannabe Publix. Even one of our former City Commissioners was harassed at this location. The WestSide deserves better! This is Publix reply on their facebook page: Publix I would be happy to address you concerns regarding this store. Please private message us with more details so we can get the feedback to the correct department. Please be aware that per our house rules«posts from fake accounts or fake profiles as well as repeat posts will probably be removed, and we may even block you completely from posting on this page.» Catalina So from what I read from this is they don’t like complaints and will block you, HOWRESPONSIVEOFYOU Publix!

Not my favorite Publix in the world. In fact I refer to this Publix as the«Ghetto Publix.» It’s not particularly clean, it seems dimly lit, and the line for the deli is ridiculous! Unfortunately for me this is the closest Publix to my office. I’m so thankful that it’s not the closest one to my apartment!

I have been going to this publix for approximately 2 years and yesterday was the last time I will ever step foot in it. I was appalled by their customer service. I was ignored for approximately 30 minutes and then told I had not been waiting in line.

We have shopped at this publix for 35 yrs. During rhis time we have watched it evolve to a horrible place to shop. Employees speak in their native languages. I stopped shopping the deli. You wait forever. The produce section has gotten a bit better but still gind mold and fruit flies in cherry tomatoes, blueberries amd rasberries. Forget about buying fruit bowls and grapes. I have watched shoppers open and eat out of the containers. No one says anything to them. Eagerly await the opening of the new super WALMART.

I love a Publix sub. Every time I come into town from New Orleans, it’s a tradition to get one before I fly back. That being said, I would have had an easier time walking to the Publix in Palm Beach than getting a sub from this location. It took me over half an hour to get two sandwiches. I informed the 4 ladies — three of which were not doing anything except complaining about absolutely nothing — that one of my subs was going to have chicken tenders. They started arguing because there weren’t any tenders ready. As opposed to dropping the tenders right away, they made my turkey sandwich in ten minutes and then informed me that they were dropping the tenders, and I could shop and come back in another ten minutes when they were ready. Other customers seemed to be prepared for this, as their three hundred pound wives knew they could easily accomplish all of their shopping before their husbands’ yard-long sandwiches for their entire families were completed. This was, literally, the worst public experience of my life. Total time elapsed: over an hour to order two sandwiches. Fuck you, Publix. Fuck you, subs. Fuck you, food. Hopefully, I make my flight.

One star because I cannot leave zero stars. If down and dirty ghetto shopping with an assortment of felons, junkies, panhandlers and the laziest bunch of employees is your thing, this is your place. I cannot believe that Publix chooses to do nothing to improve the quality of products and customer service at this location, given the number of terrible reviews listed on this site and others. Think of one of the nastiest Winn Dixies you’ve eve seen to get an idea of the look, staff and clientele in this place. Average wait at the deli: 35 – 40 minutes. Seriously! Not joking. We complained to the store manager and they acted totally surprised. I really hope this place closes.

I really hate this Publix!!! I have a tendency to stop here because sometimes I’m way to lazy to go to the Publix a little past my house on Sunrise and 15th I believe. Stopped in to get a rotisserie chicken and they only had 2 and they had that old hard rubber look. I realize its in a black neighborhood but come how can you try to sell that to someone? Immediately left and went to the Publix that’s actually in Wilton Manners(4 Corners) I believe. Lets just say I only had to wait 9 min for straight out of the oven hot steaming chicken. Can always count on this one to get everything right.

Gosh this is the oldest, most run-down Publix I’ve ever visited. Also, the parking lot is tough to get out of if you’re needing to go north on Andrews.

Best find a better Publix or at least a store in a better location. This is a Publix, and as we know Publix differ considerable in what is a direct correlation to the quality of the neighborhood in which it is located. This Publix isn’t in one of the better neighborhoods, hence not one of the better Publix and the customers it attracts tend to be the pregnant women type with 3, 4 or 5 unruly, screaming, misbehaving children, the down and outer hitting you up for spare change, the tripped out druggy, the drunk and a confused elderly tourist or two who have somehow wandered into what they are discovering to be a less than ideal setting. As for the store itself, I could at best go two stars but since I have to deal with what is clearly a less than desirable customer base, I’ve rated it a one star to be avoided store.

Drive on to the next Publix. It’s dirty and dated and the clientele I believe all have felonies. Plus getting in and out of this plaza is dangerous with traffic entering and exit at all angles. There are traffic accidents here every day.

Tuis is ghetto scary and totally changes my perception of publix as the high end grocer I thought it was. The Wilton Makors publix is better besides the fact that they have teeny tiny little carts when I have a family to buy for.

This, by far, is the worst Publix I have ever been to. To give you an idea how bad this store is, there is usually a security guard present in the store and two parking spaces for Police Vehicles in the front. As another reviewer mentioned, food here often has freezer burn on it. The store must be 30 years old or older and you can definitely tell that by looking at the condition of the aisles and fixtures. The employees here are not the friendliest at all. I came in one night after 9PM during the week and people were standing around, chatting, texting. No one was working. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Publix on Oakland Park and Federal Highway(in the same complex as Target). It’s definitely worth the extra few minutes of driving!

This store is larger than the one in at 5 points in Wilton Manors. In this case size doesn’t matter. This store is downright nasty. The produce always seems over ripe to rotten. Not sure if it has to do with the freezers but my frozen foods from here always have freezer burn As though they have been thawed out and refrozen. Do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles to a different Publix. This place brings back memories of Detroit and that isn’t a good thing.

I haven’t been to this location for awhile, but I liked shopping here. The store is big enough to carry almost everything I could possibly need, yet not as big as some stores(that I have actually gotten lost in and had a hard time finding my way out of). If ANY of the stores close to where I live now were half as clean and half as pleasant as I remember this store to be, I’d go out of my way to patronize them. This is one store that lives up to the company tagline…“where shopping is a pleasure.”

Tasty tasty tasty rotisserie chicken. I sometimes stop by here just to pick up a whole chicken. I usually eat half while watching TV, and save the other half for the next day. Only $ 6.99 for a realy filling and tasty dinner.
