Purpose: Pull over after seeing food trucks line up at a very unusual manner and location. Never seen them there before.
Set-​up: Food trucks about 8 – 9, ice cream cart, table tennis, park, playground, library (closed on Sundays), kids activities.
Cleanliness: Grade A, clean enough as all vendors pack and clean as they go in the end.
Eats/​Drinks: Visited (Burnt Ends BBQ) truck. Refer to my review on that particular experience.
Products/​Services: A variety of food trucks ranging from savory to sweet. Bulahs bean truck was there for mostly coffee beverages. Please refer to Victor G’s review for more truck choices, I didn’t get a good glimpse. Public restroom (closes certain times)/kids playground opens 24/​7, free Wi-​Fi the library network.
Punch Lines: Free, Sundays only, not much seating, guarantee to have at least 4 trucks rain or shine, table tennis, street parking, 580 freeway on/​off ramp, Grand/​Lakeshore shopping district, residential/​business.
Tradeoffs: This could be the first food truck scene with free Wi-​Fi. How? The library, if you get within 5ft of building you can log in. No password needed open to the public. Use it with care don’t do personal banking or financial matters through open network.
Final Thoughts: Food truck scenery is nothing new any more. I’ve stop chasing them down as, I can’t win anymore. For every truck I find 2 – 3 new ones pops up. Now a days, I just let it come to me or when ever I see them depending on mood I might or might not…

Bites at the Lake weekly, sundays, 12 – 3, in the driving lane behind Lakeview Branch Library. behind the food trucks were slides, a playground, a large sea of green vegetation. (good for outdoor sports)
