City Center Pizzeria

Very Solid 4 star when you factor in the price per value factor. Been walking by this place for 2 years and finally decided to stop in and get a pizza. Love the enthusiastic service. They are fast, hot, and cheap.

Awesome!!’ Went in with low expectations buy it was worth for $ 7.5. Two guys making good pizza. Pizza is ready, just choose which you want and they reheat it.

You seriously can’t beat that price… $ 7 for a 10″ pizza plus a drink!
I went in with low expectations… thinking a $ 7 pizza will probably be on par with Domino’s. To my surprise, it was really good! They have a few pizzas that have been pre-​made on display. You pick the one you want, and they’ll warm it up for you.
The pizzas aren’t packed with ingredients, but they don’t skimp out either. There’s plenty of spots to sit and eat, but they give you the pizza in a box anyway so you can always take it to go. There’s plenty to feed two people, or leftovers for dinner.
Service was very friendly! I’m assuming they fired whoever was providing the bad service that some have mentioned here…
If I feel like getting pizza for lunch, this place is definitely gonna be one of the spots I consider, especially since it’s close to work!

Good prices, big servings. Not a fan of their desserts but pizzas are okay. If you crave pizza and you work in the area, try this place out. I love their sausage and pesto pizza. Soooo good! It needs more sausage but you get what you pay for. The guys who work here are very enthusiastic too. Very nice people!

We go here often for their $ 6.99 pizza and soda special. The pizza is big enough for left overs but I usually eat the whole thing. We also get the large pizza’s here too for parties. Good food, who doesn’t like pizza?!

I ordered 4 freshly made pizzas with different ingredients on each (2 XL and 2 L size). They were all fantastic. The crust was soft and delicious.
This was a fantastically made pizza. They had some coupons/​deals which weren’t very good, but the pizza prices weren’t TERRIBLY expensive so paying full price isn’t the end of the world. What really makes this place shine is the staff. The people I’ve dealt with were REALLY super super nice and happy-​go-​lucky! They were staffed there back when this place was still a «Mr.Pizza Man». I guess they remodeled and re-​branded, but it’s for the better!
This is the best pizza you can get, and even better, it’s close by.
Note: many people have been talking smack about the «personal size» pizzas because they’ve been sitting there for a couple of hours
All it takes is 10 minutes of advanced planning to phone ahead and order a freshly made one with the toppings of your choice, just for you. 10 minutes later you can walk over to the pizzeria to pick it up, and they are awesome.

Not a very coherent staff and management. Pizza is sub par and taste like cardboard. I had a very bad experience here.
If you want cheap tasting pizza for a reasonable price, try «pizzaman» down the street on 14^th and broadway.

Time: 12:42pm/67°F partly sunny
Purpose: My office is on the same block as this place so grabbing a bite within was a sure thing, can’t be late going back.
Ambiance: Average lunch time crowds some take it to go some dine in. Two counter with freshly baked pizzas of 10’in display for your convience. Dining area has plenty of seating with TV for sports as beer are served here til 9pm. The more you head inwards the darker it gets, best bet sit facing window in front for people watching. This place I think used to be pizzaman many years ago.
Staff: One girl in front and one guy doing the baking/​prepping work. The girl was average seems to be there for the check you know clock in/​out for 8hrs no interest to do more. She tossed my pizza on counter like it was a slab of dough, no apologies.
Cleanliness: From my POV the tables/​chairs needs some simple green solutions.
Eat/​Drinks: Got the combo deal 10’in pepperoni with fountain drink $ 6.99. The pizza was definitely made in advance it was lukewarm by the time I received it. Nothing was spectacular about this pizza all the ingredients were can and store bought. The sauce tasted like ketchup with sweet/​sour sauce not intended to be used for pizza. The slices of pepperoni buckle up a telltale of package galleio type.
Products: 10’in pizzas of different toppings, fountain drinks, beer, salad, bread sticks, combos.
Punch Line: Overpriced, cheap ingredients, serves beer, premade, heat lamp, TV, opens til 9pm. Nearby City Center, within steps of transportation, banks, cafes, gym, fast food, drugstores, federal/​state building, hotel, Chinatown, bars, clubs, restaurants, city hall.
Final Thoughts: That sign that says special price makes you think you’re getting more a bargain had to go. How much is a wax cup, lid, straw cost? I did a research going by current price at smart & final $ 0.06¢ for supplies. The syrup is mixed carbonated another $ 17¢. Pizza claims 10’in that’s if you’re counting the corrugated cardboard the pizza is not near that. Red Baron frozen pepperoni on sale $ 2.89 based on 8’in. You pay more than 2 times the amount even before taxes. I’ll pass and head to Centouno just a bus ride away, at least it’s made to order.
