Dandelion Post has become my go-to neighborhood boutique. Many of my wardrobe staples are from here, as well as a few special occasion pieces, which speaks to the range and curation of this lovely shop. The store is minimal, without being severe; sophisticated, but with pops of color of pattern. It’s also just a relaxing space to browse and ogle dresses, although window shopping usually ends in me taking home a choice find ;)

Saw a dress in the window Monday. Called on Wednesday with the usual guy questions — availability, size, cost? All expertly answered by Jamie. Drop in to pickup said dress and it was already set aside for me. Very pleasant conversation with Jamie, who then wrapped the dress. Perused the goods while waiting and saw other wonderful garments for future purchase. Stylish, tasteful and classic. Will definitely be going back!

I’m guilty of shopping online for everything. I mean everything. I’ve been known to have a pack of rubberbands shipped to my front door… more than once. I avoid the UPS guy because he’s always trying to give me the stink eye. Ordering 5 pairs of shoes to try on and returning the other 4 the next day is not a crime, UPS guy. And yes, I support artists and that’s why there’s Etsy, right? Ok, Ok, I know all the arguments against online shopping in favor of buying and supporting your local small business. It’s an addiction and I can’t help it. I don’t want to be an a-hole, but the convenience of shopping online is, well… so convenient and addictive. Leave it to Dandelion Post to break this gal’s bad habits. I’ll leave out the details of how I ended up at Dandelion Post(or in an actual physical store for that matter), but here’s how DP did it for me: 1)The first time I was in there, I must have asked the shopkeeper a dozen questions about the art that she has on display. All of it is so interesting, unique and aesthetically appealing. I even went home that night to read up on the artist that has her work in there. It is truly a beautiful shop. The shopkeeper knows who made everything in her shop from the artwork, to lighting, to shelving, to the clothe racks. It feels good to be in there. I like feeling good. 2)It can be kind of awkward shopping in a small store. You feel like you’re being watched and judged by every piece you look at and you feel like have to keep a poker face when you peek at the price tag. Not at DP, the shopkeeper is warm and knowledgeable and not at all overbearing. I shopped in peace and never felt rushed. I never felt like I had to apologize for not getting anything, kinda like online shopping, but better. 3)The shop has a distinct style, but it’s diverse so you’re always pleasantly surprised by the selection. I love getting introduced and inspired to new styles without needing to have a wardrobe makeover. There’s also a range of casual to formal pieces, but not overloaded so you don’t feel overwhelmed. 4)You can tell there’s a lot of thought and intention that goes in each selection of their pieces – the textures, colors, seasonality, and quality has truly made me appreciate their attention to all of this as a skill and an art form. Even though they have an online shop, going into Dandelion Post is a new addiction for me AND it’s guilt-free. Love, love, love this little shop!

This store is dangerous. Lovely selection of different brands of clothing and jewelry that you can’t find in other stores. Great place for staples and statement pieces.

This is a beautifully curated store with clothing to match. Clothes for everyday comfort and I think most, if not all, of the clothing is made locally which is doubly good. I want to wear every piece! A very nice addition to Temescal, which is becoming more enticing to walk through every time I go back. Dandelion Post also has ridiculously good smelling candles, enviable textiles for the home and jewelry! I will be visiting this store often.

I want to wear every single piece in this store. Clothes are beautiful, modern and wearable. The store itself is airy and light and the staff are super-helpful. I also fell in love with the non-wearables like the hand painted floral cards and the candles that smell like heaven. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood. I can’t think of any other clothing stores in the neighborhood that come close to this.

This place has beautiful clothes and jewelry! some of the items are handmade, almost as if buying a piece of art. they have a lot of basics too(which i love). It’s so nice to see these businesses opening in the temescal area. friendly, knowledgable and helpful. i’m looking forward to visiting again. bonus, they ship!

This space is lovely. The clothing and accessories are thoughtfully assorted(trying not to say curated) and there are high quality staples(skinny jeans, striped RP miller tees, and Bella Dahl tops) as well as unique statement items(amazing hand died dresses, tanks). I was mainly window shopping and couldn’t resist a cute gold ring and leather tassel keychain, and now I am day-dreaming of going back for more.
