Got this delivered. Food wasn’t the best, which was shocking for such a competitive area.

Drive by the place daily and it is hard to tell it’s a restaurant. Once I notice it was I figure I give it a try. The two lady were extremely nice. I ordered the falafel plate. The plate itself is extremely generous amount. The French fries are average at best but overall the chicken turned out better than what I was expecting. Will definitely be back.

Was really hoping to like this place since I live nearby and want to see new businesses thrive; however, I cannot lie, this place needs work. The food was below average. What irked me most is the portion size for the chicken kebab. For $ 14.18 I expected more food. TINY flat pieces of tough chicken accompanied by a healthy portion of rice. For the price, more meat would be better than rice. It did come with a salty bowl of lentil soup(lentil broth). Lastly, why not put a little hummus on the plate? I realize you get 2 sides(soup and rice), but a scoop of hummus won’t break the bank. Every Middle Eastern place I have been to doesn’t charge for hummus when ordering food. Regarding the service, it was not memorable. There are many other places that are much better for Middle Eastern food than Pyramids. I won’t be back and I will not recommend to anyone.

Ordered from GrubHub and have to give major props to A.) the über delicious falafel(spicy, yums), B.) the option to order delivery quality mediterranean food, and C.) that baklava(which helped me hit the delivery price min.); knees-weak deliciousness. To be heard, two complaints: First, the delivery was late. When an individual is already waiting over an hour, the expectation is that the timeframe won’t be extended. BUT, I’ll keep it real, – the guy didn’t call a bunch and found my place easily – once he actually got to my street. Second, but which definitely made me think twice on my order and will impact future orders, there are no lamb options or shawarma. What is that? Throw out the omelets and get some shawarma, if you so choose to advertise as mediterranean.(Or, keep both and expand your benedicts section, plus offer some juice – a common option of your competition – and I will order from you relentlessly). I tried Pyramids for two reasons: I miss my mediterranean fav. from the city – Truly Mediterranean – and this place came up on my GrubHub during a rather relaxing Saturday post-nap session. On the delivery que; the Falafel Platter with Lentil Soup and French Fries, a Gyro Wrap, and Baklava. Everything was decent. The Gyro was a little soggy and I wouldn’t necessarily order it again, but I wasn’t disappointed enough to not eat it. The soup was so good, the fries were mediocre(but I wasn’t expecting much and they were more for my friend, who gives no f’s when eating). The Baklava, as mentioned, is absolutely delicious. I don’t eat a lot of desserts – but yum, yass, and oh, queen! I especially enjoyed that the falafel was well-seasoned, spicy, and came with a dipping sauce(which I order extra of next time). I don’t like to be stretched thin on my sauces. So, as delivery goes, these four stars completely reflect and some minor changes could make me 5 out of on Pyramids ;)

Thrilled to have a neighborhood restaurant just blocks from home! Went for breakfast Sunday with a friend and we shared the Eggs Florentine and Egyptian breakfast — both were excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try lunch and dinner! We were warmly welcomed by Emad, and service was great.

Generous portions, good food. The flavors are great and not too much oil, salt, or other non healthy things. Very glad we came here.

Ordered some food for delivery and it was horrible. The order came 20 minutes late and when I called to check the status of the order they hung up on me! Once the food finally arrived it was mediocre to say the least. I ordered a chicken kabob salad and it was so over dressed the vegetables were so soggy. The chicken was also very dry and virtually inedible. Never will I order from this place again!

This place is not great, this place is amazing from the second we stepped in the crew was very welcoming customer service was one of the best experiences me and my wife had and last but not least was the taste of the food very very delicious. Really encourage everyone to come and try it and it will never be your only visit guaranteed

No frills breakfast. Nothing fancy here, but what comes out on the plate is good. Had a two egger with sausage and wheat. Was slow when I went in so I was in and out pretty quick for under $ 10.

We love Pyramids and it’s in our neighborhood. We recently tried the pancakes, OMG, sent from heaven! The best pancakes we’ve ever had, so fluffy and light, they don’t soak up a ton of syrup or make you feel bloated afterwards. A must try! I Also now I apparently love fava beans(never liked them before) because I cannot get enough of the Egyptian breakfast, so yummy and filling!

Basic comfort food, nothing fancy, if you just want a solid breakfast this is a decent spot.

Great place for breakfast and brunch. Great American breakfast and really cool Egyptian food. babaganoosh was really tasty, lentil soup had a lot of flavor and the Egyptian breakfast was lovely. my wife had french toast which was well done as well. Only thing i missed was some Egyptian coffee. Prices are totally reasonable and service was very friendly. So i’d say an all around winner — we will be back!

Decided to have food delivered through Eat24 and was happy to see a healthy option. I ordered the falafel plate with salad and pita bread. The falafel was a generous size and had about 6 balls. I could only finish about 3 and had plenty of food left over. I’ve tried a lot of falafel and the quality was ok. I also ordered the baklava which was amazing! I hadn’t had it in awhile and the texture and taste were on point.

This place is great and has warm hospitality! The falafel plate is tasty and HUGE(6). I easily made 2 meals out of it. Ordered a side of humus which was also fantastic. Maxwell park folks this is a MUST visit! ***Note to owners*** A smaller falafel plate that included humus would be awesome. So happy you’re so close and I’m excited to try many other dishes! Welcome to the neighborhood :)

The food is ok. A little disappointed and surprised after reading the reviews, which got me super excited. Chicken kabob platter: chicken very difficult to chew, with a strange sauce on top that at first I thought was cheese but might be closer to a béarnaise(huh, why is this on the kabob?) and vegetables that have been destroyed during preparation, with a side of fries that are undercooked. Shoot. Falafel: nicely spiced, but could use a bit more crisp. Overall, I’d say:(a) they need to invest in a fryolator and process that keeps the oil hot enough and(b) make the kabobs more tender and recognizable as such, and don’t destroy the veggies in the process…

New spot in the neighborhood. Visited for the fist time this morning, so I can really only speak to the breakfast menu. I ordered the Special Combo, which is the 2 egg breakfast(choice of bacon, ham, or sausage and hash browns or country potatoes & toast) with an additional short-stack of pancakes. Ordered my eggs sunny side up, which I rarely do at an unfamiliar diner, and they were prepared PERFECTLY. They also accommodated my girlfriends dietary restrictions(no eggs, no wheat/gluten) and prepared her bacon & country potatoes w/cheese… she says it was pretty tasty. Standard diner type breakfast food that satisfies. I didn’t finish my pancakes(which were light & fluffy) because I filled up on the rest of my order. The restaurant is small, clean, family-friendly… pretty diverse crowd on a Sunday morning. Friendly staff. Attentive server. The owner is delightful. We’ll definitely be back to try lunch!

Came back this morning for another shot at what is now my go-to breakfast joint, and couldn’t be happier. Warm, friendly folks making great food at amazing prices. They’ve added some music and art, and made the place feel more comfortable. It’s such a pleasure to see such a great new business open up in Maxwell Park. If you’re in the area, seeking a great breakfast at a fantastic price, this is the best choice. Yes, Sequoia Diner is very good, and around the corner, but at a much higher price, and a much longer wait. I’d take my bacon and eggs here, nine times outta ten. Come support this amazing new local business on High Street in Maxwell Park.

Pyramids didn’t have any falafels nor gyros on the menu so i ordered from the breakfast menu(on the wall). was never handed a menu. just read from the board on the wall and other posting). place is small, 9ish tables. eats: mushroom and cheese omlette(6.95) –hash browns crispy on half of the order, the middle mostly mushy –omlette has a nice flavorful cheesiness in the beginning. the bottom half tasted flat. –toast ok. 3.5 stars crumbs: –good value, food wasn’t consistently good thruout –looks family runned. young girl learning from mom to bus tables. (been informed it isn’t, it was an emergency that the girl was present)

Had a chance to stop by Pyramids today for lunch. Went with the gyro wrap and a side of crispy fries. The wrap was filled with crispy, fresh vegetables and juicy gyro meat. I just ate it about three hours ago and wish I could have another one right now. Inside is clean with a nice amount of seating. Service is very friendly and there already seem to be regulars judging by how the owner was greeting people. Also, the prices are refreshingly reasonable. They are only open until 2 p.m. right now(edit– open until 4 on Saturday). Hopefully they will start doing dinner. I need to go back and try the breakfast that everyone seems to like.

Updated review *** Had a sample of their new Mediterranean dishes. The first was a chicken kabob: Excellent quality, fresh onion and bell pepper. The Falafel: Were amazing! Came with a little dipping sauce and tasted scrumptious! Lastly The Gyro: Which was tasty as well and went great with the rice that I’ve never had before! Overall I believe this place will be popping just by word of mouth! I’m definitely eating here more often!
