Quick Cut Salon

Received the worst service. This salon just reminded me why I do not like Chinese salons, unless I’m actually in China.
When the man washed my hair, he kept splashing water on my face and then proceeded to touch my face in an attempt to wipe it with his wet hands. Then the same man tried to cut my hair. He was obviously inexperienced. After about 5 mins he told a the younger woman to take over.
She asked what kind of haircut I wanted. I said I wanted the split ends off. I swear she gave me the exact same haircut she has. The top and front piece are so short and the bottom layer is long. After she patted my hair and tried to thin it out even more, I asked her to stop cutting. If she cut anymore, the top would be a pixie cut. Not only did she take out all the thickness in my hair, but she made my hair very hard to work with. The front is short and will not stay behind my shoulders so it gets all up in my face unless I tie it up. The back is so much longer than the front.
Overall very displeased with the service here. Now I have to look for a good salon and pay more money just to fix this mess.

Unfortunately, received the worst haircut of my life here. I asked for a trim, showed the hair cutter what that amount should look like, and somehow my hair got shorter by more than 3 inches. Ladies, you know if you’re looking for just a trim on long hair, 3 inches off can completely alter your look.
I generally hold off on writing negative reviews on small businesses, but the complete misinterpretation of a trim is unforgivable to me. And I felt like this Unilocal page needed a balance in experiences. I will not be going back and recommend you skip this place as well and save yourself some grief.

Great great price not only that these lady are very well trained and experienced. Very good hair cut for both man and woman and children. I do my straight perm once a year past 7 yrs with owner. They use great quality chemical and compare with those expensive hair salon great great price. I highly recommend to everybody.

I hadn’t had a haircut in 10 months and my hair almost reached my lower back. I decided to bite the bullet and get my hair cut on New Year’s day. I thought most businesses would be closed, but this place was open. I didn’t give Annie any direction when I sat down for a haircut, which usually leads to disaster. Instead, she thinned out my hair and gave me layers. Glorious layers! 40 mins later, I had a nice haircut, all for $ 13! 4 months later, I still got compliments on my hair. I recommend making an appointment with Annie.

I came in with my friend today for our hair treatment, it only costs $ 20 for my hair and it’s totally worth it. Maggie is really friendly and gave me some really good advices for taking care of my hair. The price is inexpensive. I’m totally gonna come back. Highly recommended for those who wants a good cheap hair cut or treatment! ;)

So I go there and get a hair cut it costs EIGHT DOLLARS!!!
The owner of the shop is supervising and makes sure that I look like a million bux.
I really like this place and I had a great chinatown oakland meal after.
