Cafe Beach Club

Breakfast was absolutely 5 star worthy! I just had two poached eggs with toast, bacon, and home fries but it was SO delicious. Service was quick and you can’t beat the people watching view. Would definitely recommend!

We had breakfast at this nice little place on the boardwalk. We ate outside and the view was incredible. My companion had the lump crab omelette which came highly recommended. She was not disappointed and although it was a bit pricey, she claimed it was worth every penny. I had the Mexican omelette. Olé! It was delicious and the salsa was fresh and not chunky, which was perfect. They offered marble rye toast… bonus! The home fries were amazing and the coffee was as well! We were told it’s ground fresh each day. Our waitress, Betsy, was funny, nice and took great care of us. All in all, this was a great start to the day and we’d definitely go back!

To be honest we had really low expectations about this place when we walked in, since it’s hard to find anything but bad food on the boardwalk. Overall the quality of the food was good to very good. The service is great as far as the servers goes. The problem is is the hostess (and I assume owner?) She has no tact, yells at the staff, and was extremely rude to us regarding what we can and cannot do as we were moving a stroller out of the way.

I can only give three stars due to the quality of food for the price you pay. Food was just ok nothing to rave about. We ate dinner here I ordered chicken parm. I received chicken fingers with sauce and cheese on them. My husband and MIL ordered seafood dishes they both said the food was ok but not worth the high price tag. However my one daughter ordered an pasta dish that was really good. You do get good size portions but the taste and quality of the food just not up to par with the cost.

This was an excellent meal (crab cake was amazing!) in a super clean establishment. Staff was attentive and efficient! Will definitely be back!

We are sitting here people watching, enjoying million dollar ocean views and outrageously consistently great food at a decent price. We ended up coming back for lunches and dinner because of the view, prices, staff and delicious food.

I usually keep secrets but have to give this one away! Always a great breakfast.!! Our server Lisa is awesome. The chef always checks to be sure everything was good when he’s available. Sitting on the boards, listening to the sounds of summer, you just can’t help but look up & be ever so grateful! It was the best kept secret, until now!

We stay at the Beach Club Hotel that this café is attached to and enjoy eating here. The breakfast is very good and lunch and dinner can be good and better depending on what you order. You won’t be disappointed when eating here. Don’t let the dated décor fool you. Try it.

Fresh Flounder was amazing, service was fantastic, the owner/​chef came out to answer questions and help with recommendations, then followed up to ensure we loved our food, my son tried the surf & turf burger, and my daughter had the garlic butter shrimp, all of the entrees were fantastic.

We have had the pleasure of dining here for both breakfast and dinner so far. We were not disappointed. Our table of 3 had Cinnamon Bun French Toast and Toasted Almond Cinnamon Nut Croissant French Toast. They were absolutely delicious!!! I have to recommend the sausage for your side, it is so flavorful and yummy!!!
For dinner we had the Surf and Turf burger, kids cheeseburger, tomato bisque and fries. We all enjoyed our meals. The soup was rich and delicious. The burger was juicy and full of a wonderful blend of flavors!
Dessert was out of this world!!! Please try the chocolate cappuccino cake! It’s so dense and rich!
You must try this place!!! You can’t beat the food and the view!

Café Beach Club is the best breakfast on the Ocean City NJ boardwalk. Prime location, great food-​well prepared – always on the money! The owners who run Café Beach Club just happen to be the former owners of the Culinary Garden in OC – one of the all-​time great, great dining experiences along the South Jersey shore! Once you get thru the ‘greeters’ @ the entrance – who can sometimes appear to be less than friendly– get ready for really, really good food and with seats outside – you will have the best spot for ‘sit-​down’ on the boardwalk. Oceanfront view – unobstructed fantastic view. and for summer of 2014 they added umbrellas just to help with the heat… The serving staff – well trained, on time, pleasant, professional and… nice! I mean a meal outside @ Café Beach Club may be the best seat for dining along the shore! Gotta go, then you gotta go back. An OC boardwalk ‘Must-​Do’

Had dinner there last evening with my sister and her husband as our teens walked the boards and rode some rides. The food was good, the service staff friendly and efficient, and sitting in an air conditioned restaurant with the abundant variety of humanity walking between us and the ocean … The only way to make this better is to have Denise was with us.

Ate outside and very good food. Was pleasantly surprised of how good the food was and the service. We had visited twice during our week long vacation. Would definitely recommend this restaurant when you are on your vacation. Service was friendly and great view when you sit outside.

Not bad. The location is ideal. Eating overlooking the boardwalk is perfect. Food is good, not great. Only like 4 shrimp in shrimp Parmesan. Not too expensive though. Waitress is a complete bit*ch. Not sure if this is typical or not. But she is awful. I think that’s about it. Would be willing to try again with a different waiter or waitress

Pleasant waitstaff, nice view if you like to sit by the Boardwalk and people-​watch, service was quick but the food was… meh. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and flounder with pilaf. The kaiser roll was not good (hint to restaurant: pls don’t serve that to your patrons). There is a disconnect between the flowery description on the menu and when the dish came out. Suffice to say, there’s a lot of room for improvement. But it IS a «café» and one shouldn’t expect fine dining.

THE BEST! This place has great food AND service! The waitresses are professional and always providing free refills or water. Great burgers, omlettes, home fries, chicken tenders and salads. Waterfront patio dining or indoor seating in the AC. Eat here!

We had a very nice dinner on the beach the other night. Everyone enjoyed their entrée. The amount of food was reasonable based on the price. The service was not bad. This is not a formal restaurant. It is a beach place. If you don’t expect candlelight and a fancy wine list, you will have the right expectations.

What better to do on a showery morning at the Ocean City shore than to hit the boards for a nice breakfast. And we certainly did make the right choice by going to the Café Beach Club.
The covered outdoor patio was already packed so we were lucky to score a table for three indoors, albeit with a nice view of the boardwalk and the ocean beyond.
Service was friendly, attentive and quick despite the growing crowd of breakfasters. Coffee and water appeared right away along with the menus.
We chose a special omelet of mushrooms and cheddar, chocolate chip pancakes and for me, two eggs sunny side up with English muffin and a side of… wait for it… scrapple.
Everything was prepared well and despite my having to send my English muffin back for a trip under the Salamander to be warmed (seemed like it was a common complaint), much to our satisfaction.
Oh, and the scrapple? Those of you who grew up with Quick Draw McGraw might remember Snuffles and his dog bis-​qwits. Spot on!

This place is fabulous… a tad bit pricey but well worth it. My fiancé and I took a trip to the beach on a cloudy day but found things to do and instead of eating junk food on the board walk, we ate here.

i tried a coup of the creamy crab bisque & Jess had the Roast Turkey Rice soup. **** Starting off with the soup being so freaking good we couldn’t wait for our lunch entre which was the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake sandwich on a toasted Kaiser with a pickle and Chips. This joint knows how to make a crab cake right. With creamy Crab and almost no breading. ********** Fantaboulous. But as I said kinda pricey. $ 41 meal but highly recommended.
