Super to have a pool bar at the hotel! Owner sitting at the bar bought a round. Good music and great atmosphere for the afternoon at the pool & beach!

Best place on the boardwalk for a variety of «crush» styled drinks. Great bartenders with actual personalities. They had food as well but I didn’t try any of it, but it’s there if you need to soak up some of those orange crushes.

Awesome service at Surfin’ Betty’s today! The bartender John is super attractive. I got the«skinny margarita.» It had agave nectar and fresh squeezed lime juice. Delicious! It is right on the boardwalk so the atmosphere is perfect. Definitely will return!

Love that this bar is located in between the two pools of our hotel. Music is not annoying. Walk up from the pool deck or straight off the board walk. Beer is cold and drinks are good and strong. Price is as all the others on the boardwalk. Service is here or there. Sometimes you get served as soon as you step and other times you are waiting for 5 or so minutes. But still we always get our drinks here when we are at the pool. They also serve your normal bar type food like fries, burgers, chicken strips, grilled chicken sammy, etc. Nice sitting area which it lit by tiki torches at night. High tables, low tables, and bar seats. one set of corn hole boards are there too.

Not a bad little spot overlooking the beach, which has a decent 3 – 6 happy hour. Very laid back atmosphere that offered walk up service only. Looked like they had food on the menu but from what I saw the food was the least popular thing on the menu.

Great beach bar, with great cocktails, ice cold beer, food and vibes!!! The view of the ocean is one of a kind! Grab a cold one and people watch the day away on the boardwalk. located 16th street right in front of the Quality Inn! Only place I know of In OCMD with happy hour 7 days a week!!!

The sign for Surfin’ Betty’s reads, «Overpriced food and lousy service.» I don’t know why they would advertise this way, but at least it’s honest! We were walking the boardwalk and wanted somewhere to stop for a drink that wasn’t loud and offered something besides cheap beer. The sign out front advertised $ 5 orange crushes, so my husband and father-in-law sat down while I ordered. There were two college-ish guys behind the bar. One fiddled with the orange juicer, complaining that it hadn’t been fixed, while the other prepared the cups: ice, cheap tequila and triple sec. Topped with freshly-squeezed orange juice, then shaken. I had my $ 15 out, plus a tip, when he said, «That’ll be $ 26.25.» Whaaaaa?! I asked about the sign out front: «That doesn’t go in effect till 3PM.» Okaaay. I barely had enough to pay for the drinks, and not enough to tip them at all. Oh well. We sat in the shade and sipped, and the drinks were actually pretty good(I had my suspicions about the tequila, but it turned out fine.) Checked out the menu of classic bar food(burgers, fries) and wondered how many of those prices are good all day. Then we left. The clincher: you need to pay in cash for the privilege of this experience. Thankfully, I couldn’t afford another round.
