Vinny’s Pizza and Italian Grill

I ordered the pizza rustica and the crust was very good. It was crispy and stayed that way, but at the same time, it was not like cardboard. I will return there in the future. The quality of the ingredients was great.

Great food and beers on tap! And they are open even during the off-​season!

Vinnys has the best pizza in OC. Great food and service and a great choice of beers!

Would have been a perfect 5 stars if not for a few flys bugging us during lunch. Excellent pizza, outstanding service and great local beer (Burley Oak). We do recommend.

I’d give 3 ½. Chicken parm sub was very good though I’d like more sauce because the roll sops it up. Sauce was good too and meaty chicken. All my friends liked their food which included Italian cold cut and personal pizza. Problem was it took over ½ hour to get our food and no one else was in there. Though I was part of party of 8, but Italian cold cuts, personal pizza and chicken parm shouldn’t need that long. And I didn’t get my fries. Gave them to the one other person there. Apologized and said they’d be out, but I was almost done my sub by the time I got them. Should have taken them off my bill, but they didn’t and it is an additional $ 3 more added to the sub. Which brings me to the last point. A plain chicken parm sub should be just a tad less, but it was very good.

Excellent excellent excellent!!! This is our second time here! Ate in last time in early May. Place was a little short staffed but no worries. Food was great. Stayed close by again today and ordered the buffalo chicken pizza… Friggin amazing! Best pizza I’ve ever had! Added bonus… It was Thursday so they take $ 4.00 off for the pizza.

We had dinner at Vinny’s last night and it was delicious. We each ordered a personal size pizza and it’s probably the best pizza we’ve ever had at any shore town. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and it’s one of the better ones I’ve had. Hubby ordered the fra diavolo and he loved it. And kiddo got a cheese pizza and she ate all but one piece! The service was attentive and very friendly. We will definitely be back when we are back in town!

Food was good but service was not great. Server seemed disorganized and they were not that busy. Forgot my appetizer and forgot one of the to go deserts. I was not charged for either which was the good news. Write down the orders!
It took a long time to get the food so I was not waiting any longer for the missing food.
One complaint with food was how hard the meatballs were. Packed way to hard and not tender at all. Could not cut it with fork only. Good flavor though but not tender like the homemade Italian ones I am used to.
Decent sauce, fresh and decent pizza.
Not cheap, 13 bucks for an average size sub and 8 for a small piece of pie but its ocean city.
I wish this place was the former crab factory express as they had best fish tacos.

The food was fantastic, the service was amazing, and everything about this place will bring us back again and again! We came in with our 10 month old and our server engaged him and made him laugh. At one point, customers outside were smoking, and he went outside and asked them to move because of our son sitting right near the door. The beer was great (Maryland’s own Burley Oak) and when I didn’t know which I wanted, they let me try them all. The food came out quick and hot, and everything about this restaurant was fantastic.
Cannot recommend this place enough!

Cozy place with excellent service. Serves a variety of beer and wine in Ludington craft drafts. Ordered the Rustica Pizza with goat cheese, tomato and spinach. Wonderful tangy sauce and very fresh. Crust was crispy with no soggies! Second pie was extra sauce, extra cheese, pepperoni and mushroom. Reminded me of the way pizza at a pizzeria was 30 years ago. Not greasy, big chunks of fresh (not dehydrated shavings) mushrooms nicely seasoned. Sauce was different from rustica, a little sweeter and the crust stayed crisp! What a wonderful surprise and yummy dinner. Hope they keep up the excellent quality. Be sure to stop in on your next OC visit.

I highly recommend the almond crusted goat cheese as well as the caprese salad. Friendly staff and awesome local beer selection from burley oak! Great pizza too. Cheers!

This was our first time here and we will be back! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. If you are looking for homemade Italian this is a great place!
We had 7 people in our party; 3 were kids. The kids portions were good. The meatball on the kids spaghetti was huge and delicious!
Three of the 4 adults ordered chicken parm — you could tell it was home made sauce and the chicken was nicely breaded– very good! The last entrée was eggplant parm and it was equally as good!
All the adults entrees came w. salad and entrees came w. bread.
They also serve pizza which looked great but no one in our party ordered it.
I want to emphasize that the waitress was super nice and welcoming!

Delicious pizza! We were trying to pick between all the pizza places along the boardwalk and went with this place– it was great. We had the large white pizza with spinach. It was perfect– they really know what they’re doing for pizza!
Members of our party also got lasagna, spaghetti, wings, and a personal bacon and pepperoni pizza.
Service is excellent– King was our server and he really took great care of us and was a charming and charismatic waiter. And we had some odd requests from odd requesters.

We had a big group and they totally accommodated us. When I say big I mean 3 families big! I had a margarita pizza, my husband had a calzone and the boys had calzones and pepperoni pizza. The dough was crispy, which I like, and the salads were fresh. The service was friendly too. My friends weren’t crazy about their entrees so I’m docking a star but I enjoyed the meal and the service.

The spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parmesan was excellent and the salads extremely fresh. They have only been open a couple months and still need to work out how to seat and serve people faster.
Another gentleman said this is the fourth time this week he has come back because the pizzas were incredible.
If you aren’t in a hurry, you won’t be disappointed in the food. I really hope they get their system down.

That was the worst pizza we ever had. Too fatty and not a good taste at all. You cannot even feel chicken in it. Ordered chicken bbq. Also, Greek salad is way to spicy, do not put peppers!

You can tell a lot about a restaurant by the way they handle their errors. My boyfriend and I ordered takeout last week and when we arrived we were told there was a mistake and the order just got placed. The bartender gave us two beers on the house with his apologies. He was so nice about the mistake I couldn’t even be mad!
We decided to take a seat outside and eat in rather than take out. We ordered some wings which were very meaty and the sauce was good. My only «complaint» was I wish there was a little more sauce on the wings.
For dinner we had a pizza with green peppers. It was great! The crust was crispy and delicious and the cheese to sauce ratio was on point.
Overall I was very pleased with our dining experience and even happier with the customer service and the staff. I will definitely visit Vinnys again!

Great quality Italian food for the area! The calamari was crisp & perfectly cooked, the staff was friendly, & the white pizza was light with a thin crust. Sitting outside on a nice night is an added bonus to the restaurant. If you’re looking for Italian in Ocean City, I highly recommend this place. MUCH better than the nearby Dough Roller.

Great pizza, good service, and very friendly staff! I stopped in on my way back to the hotel after a couple of bad margaritas and some awesome chicken tacos at happy hour at Mother’s Cantina, a block north. I wasn’t really hungry, but I was looking for a place for a better drink and to be able to watch the finale of the Triple Crown. When I arrived at around 5:30, the place was empty, and I asked if they had a full bar. Unfortunately, they don’t, but they did have some wines by the glass ($ 6), so I ordered a glass of the house cabernet (even though it was out of one of the 1.5 liter bottles, it tasted fine, but they might consider offering a little higher-​end cabernet for a little more $) and took a seat at the bar.
Around 6:00, some additional customers started to show up, and I got a little hungry, so I decided to order a pizza (personal size for $ 8). After about 10 minutes, I was served a steaming hot pizza, which I could not help but eat immediately (the roof of my mouth is still paying for my decision to eat the pizza as soon as I got it). Although this wasn’t pizza from a wood-​fired oven, which would have made it even better, the pizza was excellent. The sauce is probably what made the pizza so good, because it had flavor, unlike the sauce at most of the chains.
While I was eating, I saw the wait staff delivering some of the food ordered by the other patrons. The salads looked great, and then I saw what looked like the biggest plate of meatballs I had ever seen on a single serving plate of food. I am not sure how they tasted, but they looked really good.
Overall, I had a great dining experience at Vinny’s. The staff was warm, welcoming, and kept me entertained for a good hour or two. I definitely would recommend this place for a nice casual evening of wine and food (I don’t drink beer, but the other patrons seemed to be very happy with the options in that category), especially if it is nice outside, so you can take in the weather and sites.

Food and service was great! We had the Rustica Salad with grilled chicken and Italian cold cut. Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. We’re returning to try the pizza!
