This Del Taco has been a disappointment on multiple occasions. I don’t expect a lot from fast food but I at least ask for decent food. 9 times out of 10 my fries taste if they were soaking in grease and cooked the day before. Today push me over the edge with this location. I ordered a mini quesadilla and it was greasy and burnt. It had what looks like left over food from the grill stuck to it.

First thing, The burger was great but the store needs a good cleaning. With all the bad reviews on here you would think they would clean up the store. I think the best way to do the cleaning would be to enlist the help of a D 9 Caterpillar. Start at the front and don’t stop until it’s a pile of junk for the landfill I believe this is a franchise store. The owner should be ashamed of the condition of this. Food under the tables, water seeping up through the floor. I will be calling the Corporate Offices

First time I went to a Del Taco and I was disappointed. I went inside and the first thing I noticed was the floor. Food and garbage all over, like they hadn’t even swept all day, it was dinner time. There was no line and only a few cars in the drive thru and about 6 employees working at the time. The food was decent but the cleanliness was lacking too much.

Crappy Mexican Food at a cheap price. I am sorry that I wasted calories on it but I was hungry. NOBATHROOMS ??? WHYNOT ? Can’t wash your hands or use the potty before or after you eat… makes my life way too complicated… Staff was very friendly.

Stopped by to pick up a quick meal on my way home from a long day. Off the bat they were out of fries, which I allowed chips to be substituted for. At the drive thru the crew appeared understaffed. I paid for my meal and was handed a single bag with no communication as to what was inside. The employee left the window to answer another order and I waited to assure my order was in the bag, as my hands were already full. I was told all the food I paid for was there and went home to find food missing and the drinks being incorrectly made. This has happened several times, and I’m tired of having to question employees on their ability to follow simple tasks like giving me cheap food I paid for. Disappointed and wishing better del tacos were closer to home.

One of my top guilty pleasures is this fast food place. I’ve tried their Epic Carne Asada Burrito, Chicken Spicy Jack Quesadilla, Regular Taco, French Fries etc and I’ve been satisfied with each food item ordered. They have handcrafted salads, breakfast. I like this location because it’s close to the mall and other shops. It’s very convenient if I need to grab a quick bite to eat. They have a buck and under section on the menu, and if you go online they have coupons you can use. When I have time to go inside it seems to be clean, condiment station neat, along with the napkins, not really much of a mess at the beverage station either which is great. Cashier, and person working the drive thru seems to be friendly, and patient when I need a few minutes or so to order. They also have outside seating if you want to catch a nice breeze.

So aside from getting«Carne Asada Fries» with like 5 pieces of meat, they were also COMPLETELY out of beans and Cilantro Dressing today. The shift leader was on taco bar so focused on making the food, she probably didn’t even notice the rest of the staff running around like chickens with their heads chopped off. There were 10 people ahead of us waiting for their food and everyone was just standing there watching the freak show unravel before us. Come on Del Taco. Get it together.

This is a decent Del Taco that I’ve been to way too many times. Staff is always friendly. Interior usually has a mix of about half and half clean and dirty tables. They used to have an awesome Coke machine where you could mix and match flavors to make things like Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. Now that is gone for some reason. I’ve had a few burritos here with uncooked, rock-solid rice or small, inedible, hard chunks of meat. Overall, my gold standard for Del Taco is the location in Fontana, CA where I even nominated the manager there for a corporate service award. This location is nowhere near that level of cleanliness or consistency. For a 1-star level Del Taco, visit Pomona, CA.

Horrible service! I had to take back my chicken macho burrito back twice! First time I took it back because I asked for no tomatoes and no beans because of dietary restrictions. 2nd time they made it they also omitted the sour cream. When I took it back the youngster at the counter opened the burrito to check that it didn’t have sour cream hiding in there somewhere, then turned to me and said he’d just give me a side of sour cream. It took a lot for me not to shove the burrito down his throat! I asked for my money back and got the hell out of there, before I caught a case.

DELTACO’s not a destination eatery that should be approached with high expectations, or even modest expectations for that matter, but their BEAN and CHEESEBURRITO with green sauce is a guilty pleasure of mine. their tortillas are pudgy and stiff — not like home-style gorditas just clunky — and i don’t care. they steam a little in the wrapper and eat like a hot mess. sometimes when i’m out and about, i like to drive thru and grab one on the down-low. inexpensive, quick and convenient, they are a handy, appropriately-sized snack to bridge breakfast and dinner.

I’m 5 staring this fine eatery because of the 3 chicken soft taco Thursday — and the awesome staff. Also I like the local Oceanside crowd that hangs outside in a Socratic seminar solving world issues, and philosophic dilemmas that plague our times. Go bold or go home!

I have incredibly low expectation for Del taco and somehow they disappointed me. I know the food is cheap here but they should have just an inkling of pride in the food they serve. Bad service, food was a disaster.

Please, never go here. I had a very bad bacterial infection from their food here which contributed to bad food poisoning. Also, one of the clerks touched my cookies with his bare hands. Never ever go here, it is dirty.

My first time at a Del Taco(possibly me last) Although I favor employing people and support those who work I feel before you allow someone to man the main indoor register at lunchtime you provide adequate training … The poor employee did not know anything about the menu and was constantly referred to the computer screen on register for help… I asked simply what do you have for Vegetarians and was told Turkey Salad, Chiken Salad etc… I explained the vegetarians do not eat either chicken nor turkey. Eventually I did get a Vegetarian Burrito for $ 2.80 and it was OK I also ordered a Quesadilla which was a greasy disaster — my daughter usually a fan of quesadillas was not interested … My biggest grip is simply the manager ‚ He(LEO) was within 6ft of all that was happening at the register, as each frustrated customer tried to place their order with the«new kid» He sat at the closet table to the counter and did paperwork … Eventually Leo went behind the counter to help with some of the«drive thru» orders backing up at the same time … I encourage the«new kid» to continue to work I hope that Del Taco changes the manager at this location because he obviously does not care(for his employees or customers) and to let someone man the main counter by themselves at lunchtime WITHOUT training is an abomination… A cashier must KNOWTHEMENU inside out and be proficient with the register /computer system being used . I have seen many other FF chains where the manager is involved with every aspect of the operation. Unfortunately– Not happening at this location.

It’s like a cheaper, worse Taco Bell. White unseasoned rice used as filler, simple cheddar used, instead of a typical 3 cheese blend. Terrible unseasoned burritos. The chicken in their tacos tastes like an asian stir fry chicken, so weird. Customer service was good however.

If you live in San Diego County, there’s really no reason why you have to go to a place like this. I got the Epic Burrito, and the only thing epic about it was how epically lame it was, or the epic amount of rice was in there. I also had an epic amount of gas after eating it, and I had an epic stomach ache for the rest of the day.

I’m not really a fast food/drive through type of person, but I really wanted a taco and I was running between appointment so I stopped by for a big fat steak taco. I loved the puffy shell, but there was about 3 pieces of meat on the whole thing, and I’m not entirely sure what that sauce was, but it was definitely uncalled for. Maybe if I sampled more of the menu, I’d be nicer about the whole experience, but it was just okay. Then again, in the land of proper Mexican restaurants, who wants a Del Taco?

Came earlier this afternoon for some quick grub. I got the [2] macho tacos combo and a Bacon Double Del to wash all the greasiness down. Service was quick even though the drive-thru line was rather lengthy. I received my order perfectly and in a timely fashion and was even asked if I liked some condiments to accompany my grub. Why doesn’t Carl’s off the 76 do that?! All of the food from the crinkle-cut fries, to the cheeseburger and tacos were delicious. Highly recommended, and I’ll come back next time I’m in the area.
